In order to combat the spread of COVID-19, on January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization declared that the spread of COVID-19 has met the criteria of a "Public Health Emergency of International Concern" under Article 1 of the International Health Regulations(2005) and proposed a variety of preliminary recommendations to fight against the pandemic accordingly. All of a sudden, people are ordered to wear face-masks in public-which is forbidden for different reasons in many jurisdictions. Of course, the legal world was hit by the virus as well. Needless to mention that where economic and social life will change so drastically, the legal world will change(ex. virtual hearing) as well. Most probably, it will not ever be the same after COVID-19. And where the whole legal world will change, it is easy to state the obvious, namely that COVID-19 has and will have an impact on international arbitration as well. This paper will describe how international arbitration is dealing with this new challenge.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and evaluate music intervention research conducted with high-risk neonates in NICUs in both domestic and international settings. Seventeen music intervention studies were identified, and their characteristics, including type of music, music provider, and treatment frequency, and outcomes (i.e., neonatal vital signs) were reviewed and analyzed along with meta-analysis. For music interventions targeting high-risk neonates in NICUs, the effect sizes of the neonates' vital signs were classified as either medium or large. In addition, larger effect sizes were associated with a combination of live and recorded music, nonmusical therapists as the music providers, and treatment frequency of one to five sessions per week. These research findings verify the clinical value of music for high-risk neonates and provide insights into the selection of music elements, music delivery methods, and music providers in NICU music interventions.

In the passive UHF (860-960MHz) RFID communications, which consists of a set of readers and tags, the readers normally interrogate the tag by using the backscatter mechanism. (i.e., tag response). In practical RFID environment, where multiple readers or tags exist; the interference causes collisions. This paper proposes a centralized arbitration scheme for avoiding the collision problems among multiple readers. The proposed centralized arbitration scheme is modeled in software environments, and is verified with simulation results. Simulated performance is focused on completion time, utilization and response time, and the simulation results show that our proposed scheme provides satisfactory performance grade.

This study is to design an effective fall-prevention nursing program. Researchers investigated the current condition and risk factors for falls in the small-medium sized rehabilitation hospital with descriptive research. We conducted integrative literature review to reflect the current approach of fall-prevention nursing program. We found that the risk factors for falls are related to the characteristics of clinical setting of the hospital. We suggested the nursing intervention with applying fall risk assessment scale that is sensitive to the elderly population and the intervention that shows maximum effect. In conclusion, this study proposed the way of selecting an effective fall-prevention nursing program based on a clinical setting and prospective of its application. This will contribute to the improvement in nursing practice with the critical view in hospital fall.

There should be an arbitration agreement between concerned parties in order to resolve a dispute through arbitration. The arbitration procedures, including the selection of the arbitrator and the adjudicative rights of the arbitrator, are based on the arbitration agreement. In other words, the arbitration procedure and adjudication can be carried out within the boundaries of the arbitration agreement. Traditionally, the Doctrine of Separability of the arbitration agreement has been acknowledged in order to emphasize its importance and to clearly separate it from the contract. Today, when the Doctrine of Separability of the arbitration agreement is well established, overemphasizing this separability could hamper its effectiveness and the autonomy of the parties. Moreover, arbitration agreements in the past were required to be written, clarifying the existence of the agreement and determining the scope of its validity. Further, an arbitration agreement was considered as narrowly as possible. However, since arbitration has become a generalized resolution for disputes, the formal or content requirements should be reconsidered. In terms of validity, the subjective and objective scope should necessarily be extended as a means to resolve disputes related to an arbitration agreement and reduce the resolution cost and duration. Under this perspective, the arbitration theory should now focus on arbitration agreements rather than the place of arbitration. We should break from the nationalistic view, which understands that the arbitration system is a part of the national legal system and that arbitration is allowed solely by permission of the nation. Instead, we should extensively reinterpret the subject of arbitration agreement and its range of effects so that disputes can be resolved between the concerned parties under a single procedure and norm, a necessary step forward. Moreover, in spite of the positive contribution and role of the New York Convention toward the establishment and development of the international arbitration system, there should be an effort to overcome its deterioration. As mentioned in the recommendations regarding the interpretation of the arbitration agreement in the New York Convention in 2006, we should begin by striving to match the Convention as a means of interpretation with the changes of the twenty-first century. Ultimately, we should meet the demands of the new era through amendments to the Convention.

RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) 기술은 RF 신호를 이용하여 특정 물체에 부착되어진 태그를 일정 범위 이내에서 식별할 수 있는 자동인식기술이다. RFID 시스템 상용화 이전에 해결해야 할 중요한 문제 중 하나는 다수의 리더들 간의 충돌 문제이다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 리더 충돌 방지 알고리즘들은 RFID 시스템의 효율성과 직접적인 연관이 있으며 아직 연구가 미비한 상태이다. 기존의 리더 충돌 방지 알고리즘 중 Colorwave 방식은 구현이 간단한 장점은 있으나, 시간 이용 효율 저하 및 태그 오동작이 발생하게 된다. 또한 경쟁 기반의 슬롯 할당 방식으로 인한 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RFID 리더 네트워크에 충돌 중재를 위한 매니저를 두어 리더 간의 충돌 발생을 방지함과 동시에 위의 문제점을 해결 할 수 있는 적응형 리더 네트워크 구조를 제시한다.

Iatrogenic injury of the vertebral artery during cervical spine surgery though uncommon is critical. With advances in interventional endovascular techniques, the therapeutic approach for vertebral artery injuries has changed. Nonetheless, an established strategy for their management is lacking. We report a case of pseudoaneurysm due to vertebral artery injury, during cervical spine surgery for a tumor, that was treated successfully with endovascular coiling in a plug-and-patch fashion after triple stenting failed.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend of exercise intervention applying various devices to increase the physical activity of the disabled, and to suggest the exercise intervention using converged devices that meet the needs of the times due to the increase of elderly people with disabilities. Exercise intervention using converged devices applicable to the disabled is divided into two types: first, exercise intervention using virtual reality-based gamification, and second, exercise intervention based on wearable devices of wearable or body-attached such as bands and watches. For exercise intervention using converged devices that can be enjoyed by the elderly with disability, minimize of environmental limitations, and easy to personalize, there is a need for configuration requirements such as easy operation and simple rules of operation, easy device installation and wearing, a trainer who can complement immature device utilization. In order to maintain and improve the daily living performance of the elderly with disabilities who experience a significant decrease in their cognitive and physical functions, it is necessary to use a physical activity game that can be experienced and can be interested in everyday life or a variety of devices to increase the amount of physical activity.

국내 사정상 우리나라는 역사적으로나 지리적으로나 학문분야를 비롯한 법제, 제도 면에서 일본과 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있기 때문에, 일본 축산의 성장과 제도를 고찰해 보면 우리나라의 향후 나아갈 방향과 대책의 수립이 수월하게 연상된다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 이에 따라, 현재도 국내의 축산관련업계의 지도층과 연구 및 행정직에 종사하는 일부 인사들은 우리나라의 실정에서는 EU나 미국의 제도보다는 일본의 관료주의적인 제도나 법이 더 부합된다는 사고방식을 가지고 이를 실행에 옮기고자하는 시도를 하고 있는 것이 현실로서 미국의 시장경제주의적 사고방식을 더 선호하는 축산관련업계에 종사하는 젊은 세대들의 사고방식과의 미래지향적인 이견해소를 위한 중재절차를 필요로 하고 있다.
