The purpose of this study is to examine users' perceived importance for service attributes and performance in research libraries, and further to suggest the improvement strategies for research libraries. The survey was conducted for the library users of 14 government-funded research institutes. The questionnaire for this research was developed from the standard LibQUAL+. Statistical analyses were conducted to identify the relationship between service quality and users' satisfaction, and the gap between perceived importance and performance by user groups. According to the result of statistical analyses, the priority of service improvement strategies of research libraries were suggested.

The main characters play leading roles in novels. In the previous studies, they recognize the main characters in a novel mainly based on dictionaries that built beforehand. In English, names begin with upper cases and are used with some words. In this paper, we propose a recognition method for main characters name in Korean novels by using predicates, rules and weights. We first recognize candidates for the characters name by predicates and propose some rules to exclude candidates that cannot be characters. We assign importances for candidates, considering weights that given by the number of candidates appeared in a sentence. Finally, if the importance of the character is more than a threshold, we decide that the character is one of main characters. The results from the experiments for 300 novels show that an average accuracy is 85.97%. The main characters name may be used to grasp relationships among characters, character's action and tendency.

얼굴 영상에서 구성요소(눈썹, 눈, 코, 입 등)의 존재에 따라 보는 사람의 얼굴 인식 정확도는 큰 영향을 받는다. 이는 인간의 뇌에서 얼굴 정보를 처리하는 과정은 얼굴 전체 영역 뿐만 아니라, 부분적인 얼굴 구성요소의 특징들도 고려함을 말한다. 비음수 행렬 분해(NMF: Non-negative Matrix Factorization)는 이러한 얼굴 영역에서 부분적인 특징들을 잘 표현하는 기저영상들을 찾아내는데 효과적임을 보여주었으나, 각 기저영상들의 중요도는 알 수 없었다. 본 논문에서는 NMF로 찾아진 기저영상들에 대응되는 인코딩 정보를 SLR(Sparse Logistic Regression)을 이용하여 성별 인식에 중요한 부분 영역들을 찾고자 한다. 실험에서는 주성분분석(PCA)과 비교를 통해 NMF를 이용한 기저영상 및 특징 벡터 추출이 좋은 성능을 보여주고, 대표적 이진 분류 알고리즘인 SVM(Support Vector Machine)과 비교를 통해 SLR을 이용한 특징 벡터 선택이 나은 성능을 보여줌을 확인하였다. 또한 SLR로 확인된 각 기저영상에 대한 가중치를 통하여 인식 과정에서 중요한 얼굴 영역들을 확인할 수 있다.

This study aimed to investigate and compare perceptions of middle and high school mathematics teachers on assessment. For the purpose, we developed and used a survey consisting of two parts(importance/performance on assessment and general opinion on process-based assessment). We gathered data from 188 middle school and 125 high school mathematics teachers in Incheon area. An Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) method was used for data analysis. As results, middle school mathematics teachers showed higher perception on both importance and performance in almost all area on assessment than high school teachers. In addition, research results based on teaching experience indicated that mathematics teachers having more teaching experience seemed to perceive high importance-high performance and low importance-low performance tasks more than mathematics teachers having less experience. In particular, middle school teachers recognized many low importance-high performance tasks according to their teaching experience. The IPA gave us different results depending on the school size. The larger the school, the more diverse opinions appeared tasks in low importance-high performance. From the general opinion on process-based assessment, the middle school mathematics teachers also seemed to have more positive perspectives and to be more active in assessment than high school mathematics teachers. Finally, we discuss implications for future policy formulation and implementation on process-based assessment.

The purpose of this study is to survey the importance and holdings of competency of Archives and Records management Professions and compare the difference between the quantum. For these purposes, I derived six competencies(tasks, knowledge, skills, interests, work values and attitudes) from O*NET and used this by questionnaire. Survey is conducted to archivist and records managers in National Archives, central government agencies, municipalities, school districts and universities. Through this analysis, I seized core competencies and holdings of archivists and records managers and the difference between the quantum by organization and career. In addition, I suggested the difference between Korean's and American's competency importance.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the awareness of job task importance and performance of occupational therapists in the community care system for the elderly. Methods : We conducted an online questionnaire survey of 152 occupational therapists nationwide from May 31, to June 24, 2019. General characteristics and institutional awareness, role and performance awareness were analyzed by descriptive statistics. One way ANOVA were conducted to compare the differences of working days, working places, and the field of work. Results : The recognition of the community care system for the elderly was low at 2.93 ± 1.0 but the importance of the community care system was 3.94 ± 0.7 and the importance of the occupational therapist in the system was 4.34 ± 0.7. Fall prevention (4.63 ± 0.7) was the most important in occupational therapist's jobs, and performance was high in instrumental activity daily living training (3.94 ± 0.8) and physical function training (3.94 ± 0.8). Conclusion : This study can be presented as basic data on job task importance and performance awareness of occupational therapists in the elderly community care system. In addition, it is expected to be used as basic data for establishing the role of occupational therapist in the elderly community care system.

In order to strengthen the information security of the organization, it is important to invest in the information security facility, but the information security awareness of the organization members is also very important. Effective education is needed to raise awareness of this information security. However, the method of collective education utilized by most organizations is not very effective. Educational methods using serious games can be a good alternative. Educational methods using serious games have already proved effective through various cases and researches and are used in many fields. In this paper, we design and implement a game program to improve the awareness of individual information security policy importance. The training was conducted for the members of the organization and the change of awareness about the importance of individual information security policy was examined through analysis of evaluation data before and after the training.

The 7th national curriculum is focused on breeding an independent and creative Korean who will lead the age of globalism and information in the 21st century. It is necessary to improve the existing assessment methods in order to develop higher thinking abilities such as creativity and problem-solving skill. Although teachers have been aware of this necessity, they have realized that it is difficult to improve the current assessment methods. In this study, we selected some assessment domains on science learning with literature reviews and case analysis. In addition, we calculated the degree of its importance by the use of Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). We suggest a direction for improving the present assessment domains on science learning on the basis of the research. Inquiry, cognitive, creative, and affective domain among assessment domains seemed to be listed in order of importance. Moreover, problem-identifying, hypothesizing, and inquiry-planning appeared to be the highest in the degree of importance among sub categories. Considering the results of this study, the current school assessment system which is focused on cognitive domain should be improved.

이러닝 시스템을 유용하게 활용하려면 학습자의 감정을 인식하여 학습자에게 적절한 피드백을 주는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 이러닝 시스템의 학습효율을 높이기 위해서는 학습자의 감정을 인식하여 그에 적절한 피드백을 제공하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 학습자에 대한 적절한 피드백을 제공하기 위해서 상황인식 컴퓨팅 기술을 바탕으로 학습자의 감정표현단어를 상황정보로 사용하여 감정을 인식할 수 있는 상황인식 미들웨어로서 EF-CAM을 제안한다. EF-CAM은 감정표현단어의 범주화기술을 기반으로 온톨로지를 구축하여 학습자의 감정을 인식한다. 이러닝 학습자의 감정을 인식하기 위해서 학습자의 감정표현 단어를 상황정보로 사용하고, 학습자의 감정에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 환경정보(온도, 습도, 날씨 등)를 추가하여 인식한다. 학습자의 감정을 표현하기 위해서 OWL 언어를 사용하여 온톨로지를 구축하였다.

The purpose of this study is how it affect them what the effect of skin recognition on the purchasing behavior and propensity to buy facial cleanser in 311 women in their 20s and 50s. This study analyzed by importance, interest, and satisfaction of skin recognition, and type of impulse buying, type of depending on brand, type of planning buying. The group with high interest in skin recognition had a long time to clean. As they got a purchasing information the group with low knowledge had the information from nearby, and the group with high knowledge got information from internet. At the view of purchasing propensity the women who are highly interested in the skin have a tendency of type of impulse buying and type of planning buying, and the women with high skin importance are less inclined to type of impulse buying. In conclusion, Skin recognition uses purchasing behavior and propensity to buy facial cleanser.
