A Study on the Influence of Government Support on Corporate Ability and Opportunist Behavior: Focusing on Socially Disadvantaged Business (정부지원이 기업역량과 기회주의행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 사회적약자기업을 중심으로)

  • This study aims to confirm the effect of government support on the capability of socially disadvantaged enterprises (SDBs) and to explain the opportunistic behavior of SDBs to acquire more external resources such as government support. By dividing government support into policies and procedures, the difference in influence on corporate ability is analyzed by clarifying government support, and the impact of corporate capability on opportunistic behavior is analyzed using the structural equation (SEM) to provide government support The purpose of this study is to present the policy direction, the necessity of procedural development of government support, and the preceding factors to avoid opportunistic behavior. As a result of analyzing 261 questionnaires targeting SDB executives and employees, the relationship between government support policy and corporate ability was rejected. It was found that the government support procedure had a positive (+) effect on corporate ability, and that corporate ability had a negative (-) effect on opportunistic behavior. The implication is that, among the two components of government support, only the government support procedure was found to be significant. There should be publicity and in-depth consideration of government support policies.

  • In order to establish a corporate records schedule, this study identifies the types of records and retention periods specified by domestic laws for companies to retain, reviews the significance and characteristics of the results, and proposes establishing a corporate records schedule. To this end, this study identified the company's management activities, prepared a record survey for legal analysis, and extracted the record types and retention periods necessary for the company's management activities through a review of various laws. Next, this study looked at the meaning and characteristics of the types of records and retention periods required by companies. Finally, based on the analysis results, a method for establishing a corporate record processing schedule was proposed.

The Relationship Between Entrepreneurial Competency and Entrepreneurial Intention of SME Workers: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Start-Up Efficacy and Start-Up Mentor (중소기업 종사자의 창업역량과 창업의도 간의 영향 관계: 창업효능감과 창업멘토링의 매개효과 중심으로)

  • This study attempted to analyze the impact of individual entrepreneurial capabilities on entrepreneurial intention targeting small and medium-sized business employees, and sought to confirm the mediating effect of entrepreneurial efficacy and entrepreneurial mentoring between entrepreneurial capabilities and entrepreneurial intention. The sub-variables of entrepreneurship competency were analyzed separately into creativity, problem solving, communication, and marketing. 368 questionnaires collected from employees at small and medium-sized manufacturing companies located across the country were used for empirical analysis. A parallel dual mediation model with no causal relationship between parameters was used for empirical analysis using SPSS v26.0 and PROCESS macro v4.2. As a result of the analysis, first, among the start-up competencies, creativity, communication, and marketing were confirmed to have a significant positive (+) effect on start-up efficacy. Second, among the start-up competencies, creativity, communication, and marketing were tested to have a significant positive influence on start-up mentoring. Third, both startup efficacy and startup mentoring were found to have a significant positive influence on startup intention. Fourth, among start-up capabilities, creativity and marketing were confirmed to have a significant positive (+) effect on start-up intention. Fifth, startup efficacy and startup mentoring were found to have a mediating effect on startup intention except for problem solving among startup competencies. As a result, it was confirmed that in order to strengthen the intention to start a business among small and medium-sized business employees, start-up efficacy and start-up mentoring are important factors, and that marketing and creativity have an important influence among individual start-up capabilities, so education and prior preparation for these are necessary. As follow-up research, it will be necessary to apply multivariate models, analyze time series data, research considering external environmental factors, and test the difference between start-up capabilities and performance considering detailed population characteristics.

특성화고 앙트러프러너십이 창업의지에 미치는 영향 연구: 창업멘토링 조절효과를 중심으로

  • 우리나라 특성화고는 산업사회의 각 분야에서 종사할 유능한 인재를 양성하고 합리적이며 능률적인 직업인을 육성하려는 목표로 1998년에 도입되었다. 2010년에는 독일, 스위스, 오스트리아 등에서 자리 잡은 마이스터고 제도를 도입하여 변화를 시도하였다. 유럽에서의 마이스터고는 창업 성공률이 98%에 이를 정도로 창업의지가 높은 학생들로 구성되었다. 우리나라 또한 특성화고 학생들의 창업의지를 높이기 위해서 정부와 민간 기관에서 다양한 시도를 하였다. 창업진흥원의 기업가 마인드 확산 교육 비즈쿨(2002년), 한국시민자원봉사회의 특성화고 대상 창업 마인드 확산 경진대회 Be the CEO(2004년), 아산나눔재단과 어썸스쿨의 앙트러프러너십 교육 히어로스쿨(2014년) 등이 사례이다. 본 저자도 2011년부터 중소벤처기업부와 SK가 공동으로 주최하는 고교생 앱 개발경진대회를 직접 운영하면서 특성화고 학생들의 창업의지를 높이기 위한 방안에 대해 오랫동안 고민하였다. 본 연구에서는 특성화고 학생들의 앙트러프러너십이 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 앙트러프러너십의 구성요소는 Miller(1983)가 주장한 위험감수성, 혁신성, 진취성에 기회인지를 추가하였다. 또한, 특성화고 학생들이 학교 교육과 다양한 외부활동을 통하여 접하고 있는 창업멘토링이 앙트러프러너십 구성요소와 창업의지간에 조절효과가 있는지 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국 491개(2017년 말) 특성화고등학교 중 지역별로 안배하여 14개 학교 학생들을 대상으로 설문을 시행하였으며, 설문서 287부를 실증분석에 활용하였다. 연구분석 결과 특성화고 학생의 기회인지, 위험감수성, 혁신성, 진취성은 모두 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 기회인지, 위험감수성 등 앙트러프러너십 요소와 창업의지 관계에서 창업멘토링의 조절효과는 진취성에만 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 창업멘토링의 조절효과가 진취성에만 국한된 것은 특성화고는 창업보다는 취업 중심의 정책을 운영 중이어서 앙트러프러너십은 높으나 창업의지가 희박한 학생이 많았고, 기존의 창업멘토링 내용이 학생들의 창업의지를 높이는데 실제적인 도움이 되지 못하였으며, 창업을 가로막는 제도 때문에 멘토링 만으로는 창업의지를 높이는데 한계가 존재하였다. 본 연구의 결과가 우리나라 특성화고 학생들의 창업의지를 높이는 방안에 대한 연구를 촉발하는데 조그만 보탬이 되기를 바란다. 또한, 창업의지가 높은 특성화고 학생들이 창업을 실행할 수 있는 환경이 구축되고, 특성화고가 취업중심의 정책에서 창업친화적인 정책으로 개선하는 데 촉매제가 되기를 바란다.

The Impact of Technology Innovation Capacity and Social Capital on Non-Financial Performance - For small and medium-sized businesses in the metropolitan area - (기술혁신역량과 사회적 자본이 비재무성과에 미치는 영향 - 수도권 중소기업을 대상으로 -)

  • This study analyzed the effect of technology innovation capacity and social capital on the non-financial performance of SMEs in the metropolitan area. Technology innovation capacity is defined as R & D capacity and technology accumulation capacity, and social capital is defined as interaction, goal sharing, and member trust. The samples were collected through a survey conducted in-person and through telephone calls, e-mail, and fax. The sample data used for analysis was 223 copies. Analysis results showed that R & D capacity and technology accumulation capacity (for technology innovation capacity) and interaction and member trust (for social capital) were variables that significantly affect non-financial performance, but not goal sharing. The findings of this study were as follows. First, despite lacking sufficient technology or capital, SMEs are constantly engaging in innovation to survive in the competitive market environment. Second, the members of SMEs make considerable efforts to achieve performance based on interaction and member trust, however, they hold a negative perception toward sharing the goals pursued by their company.

  • 외환위기 이래 현재까지 대한민국의 가장 큰 사회 문제 중 하나로 대두되고 있는 청년 실업문제의 해결 방법 중 하나로 정부에서는 창업을 적극 권하고 교육부, 중소기업청 등의 여러 정부기관들이 많은 예산과 지원 정책을 시행하고 지원하면서 청년 창업을 적극적으로 권장하고 있다. 이에 따라 대학생이 창업해 성공한 스타트업 기업의 사례가 늘어나면서 대학생들의 창업에 대한 관심도가 높아지고 있다. 반면, 창업을 꿈꾸는 대학생 중 사업 아이디어를 가지고 창업을 준비하면서 중도 포기하는 학생들도 많으며 실제 창업을 하고도 폐업하는 실패사례도 많이 발생하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 개인적 특성이 창업의 직 간접적인 경험 조절에 따라 창업 의지에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 조사하고 분석하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 대학생의 개인적 특성이 창업 의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구를 창업의 직 간접적인 경험 조절로 진행하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 대학생의 개인적 특성을 독립변수로 설정하고 직 간접경험을 조절변수로 설정하여 진행하였다.

The Change of a Network Structure in the Regional Business Ecosystem through RIS (지역연고사업(RIS)을 통한 지역 중소기업 생태계의 네트워크 구조변화 연구)

  • In this paper, we focus the changing role of universities of University-Industry Collaboration (UIC) for enriching the regional business ecosystem network. For this research, we analyze 'Regional Innovation System(RIS)' - a specific UIC program- which provides a marketing service for firms, especially, SMEs with a specific problem by a group of consultants including CEOs, professors, and heads of regional public or private service providers. Then we have analyzed using network analysis how the business network was changed from RIS. Moreover, we will interview the participants in the important position of the network and investigate the reason for bringing a change in the network structure by using this program. This study illustrates that various types of network are formed between university and SMEs. Furthermore, the networks surrounding SMEs are extended to the other people connected to them. This means that the business network of SMEs had been diversified via the facilitation of university. This study throws new highlights on the new role for the university as a network promoter in addition to the partner as a technology-provider in the regional business ecosystem. Moreover, the network analysis between before-and-after can be used for the evaluation of the effectiveness of the various UIC programs.

The Effects of Human and Institutional Factors on Succession Intentions of Small and Medium Enterprises (인적 요인 및 제도적 요인이 중소기업 승계 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • As the founders of small and medium-sized businesses age, the issue of business succession becomes increasingly important. In this study, we empirically analyzed the impact of various human and institutional factors on corporate succession intentions, including the CEO's competency, the successor's competency, third-party stakeholders, and institutional factors such as legislation, taxation, and trust. We surveyed CEOs who were currently running small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and received a total of 201 valid questionnaires. We then conducted an empirical analysis using the multiple regression analysis method. Our results showed that both the CEO's competency and the successor's competency, which are human factors, had a significant positive impact on corporate succession intention. Institutional factors such as taxation and trust also had a significant positive impact on corporate succession intention. However, third-party stakeholders and legislation did not have a significant effect on corporate succession intention. Among the factors that had a significant impact, the size of the influence was in the order of successor's competency, CEO's competency, taxation, and trust. These research results have both academic and practical implications. By going beyond existing studies that focus solely on human factors, we have revealed that institutional factors such as taxation and trust have a very important impact on corporate succession.

메이커운동(Maker Movement)과 메이커스페이스(Makerspace) 연구의 시각 : 창업경영의 관점으로 바라본 비판적 평가

  • "4차 산업 혁명"으로 대변되는 사회전반에 걸친 변화는 일상에서의 혁신과 일상적인 혁신을 필요로 하고 있다. 또한 국가차원에서 가능한 모든 혁신자산을 효율적으로 관리 운영하고 지속적으로 새로운 혁신자산을 확보하는 것이 국가경쟁력 향상의 제일목표가 되가고 있다. 이러한 시대 요구속에서 "메이커 운동(maker movement)"은 변화요구에 대응할 수 있는 대중(grassroot)혁신활동으로 주목받고 있다. 특히 메이커운동의 주요 활동공간인 '메이커 스페이스(makerspace)'는 메이커들이 서로의 지식을 나누고 자원과 결과물을 공유, 협업하는 장소로 최근에는 (예비)창업자를 위한 창업준비공간으로 기능을 확장하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우에도 2010년 이후 다양한 형태의 '메이커 스페이스'를 혁신기반육성을 위한 정책차원에서 지원하고 있다. 중소벤처기업부는 "메이커 스페이스" 확대 사업을 2018년부터 추진 중이며 '일반랩'과 '전문랩'으로 세분화 하여 '일반랩'은 메이커 입문과 기본단계에 있는 초보 메이커들을 위한 'Zero to Maker' 공간으로, '전문랩'은 전문가(창업가)들을 위한 'Maker to Maker(Market)' 공간으로 역할을 분할하여 지원하고 있다. 본 연구는 주목받고 있는 사회문화 현상이며 변화환경에 대응하기 위한 정책수단으로 활용되고 있는 메이커 관련 주제 중 메이커들이 활동하는 공간(메이커스페이스)에 대한 연구이다. 지금까지 메이커스페이스들 관한 국내외 주요 연구에 대하여 조사하고 최근 메이커스페이스에 요구되고 있는 기능적 확장을 위한 연구필요성 및 연구방향에 대해 논하고자 한다. 특히 창업 경영학적 관점에서 메이커스페이스 관련 연구의 필요성과 구체적인 연구 분야를 제시한다.

Influences of Physical Work Environment on Job Satisfaction and Job Performance -Focusing on Personal Working, Co-Working and Amenity Space- (중소기업의 물리적 업무환경이 직무만족 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향 -개인집중업 공간, 협업 공간, 어메니티 공간을 중심으로-)

  • This study was conducted to empirically analyze the effect of the physical work environment of SMEs on work satisfaction and work performance. For the research, the physical work environment was subdivided into Focusing on Personal Working space, co-working space, and amenity space to establish a research model. For empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was conducted targeting small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) workers. 250 valid copies were taken for analysis. Hypotheses were tested by multiple regression using SPSS 24. The study results were as follows. Focusing on Personal working space, co-working space, and amenity space all had a significant positive (+) effect on job satisfaction of SME employees. In addition, Focusing on personal working space, co-working space had a significant positive (+) effect on job performance. Amenity space was not tested for a significant influence on job performance. The contribution of this study was to identify the causal relationship between the physical work environment and the employee's job satisfaction and job performance in the absence of studies. In future research, it is ultimately necessary to identify the relationship with the business performance of a company.
