Gravimetric and magnetic studies in an Yangsan fault area near Angang (안강부근 양산단층 지역에서의 중력 및 지자기 연구)

  • Gravimetric and magnetic surveys were conducted in order to reveal near-surface structures such as basements, faults, and fracture zones in an area near Angang, where the Yangsan fault is believed to pass through. Along two lines approximately perpendicular to the strike of the major fault, gravity and magnetic data were measured at 67 stations with a 15 m interval and at 296 stations with a 3 m interval, respectively. Average depth to the magnetic basement is estimated using the spectral analysis method to be 8.5 and 10.0 m along lines located to the east and the west of the Hyeongsan river, respectively. Average value of reduced gravity on the east line is higher than that on the west by the amount of 1.71 mGal, which indicates that the basement rocks are more severely fractured in the western part. Forward gravity modeling along the east line indicates that a fracture zone extends westward from a fault located 210 m west of the eastern end. Density and depth to the bottom of the fracture zone are estimated to be 2.44 g/cm3 and 70 m, respectively. The gravity model study also indicates presence of a small graben, 190 m wide and 3.5 m deep on an average, on the basement surface. The earth surface above the graben is approximately 44 cm lower than the nearby surface. This indicates that the graben might have been formed by recent fault movements.

Expected Segmentation of the Chugaryung Fault System Estimated by the Gravity Field Interpretation (추가령단층대의 중력장 데이터 해석)

  • The three-dimensional distribution of the fault was evaluated using gravity field interpretation such as curvature analysis and Euler deconvolution in the Seoul-Gyeonggi region where the Chugaryeong fault zone was developed. In addition, earthquakes that occurred after 2000 and the location of faults were compared. In Bouguer anomaly of Chugaryeong faults, the Pocheon Fault is an approximately 100 km fault that is extended from the northern part of Gyeonggi Province to the west coast through the central part of Seoul. Considering the frequency of epicenters is high, there is a possibility of an active fault. The Wangsukcheon Fault is divided into the northeast and southwest parts of Seoul, but it shows that the fault is connected underground in the bouguer anomaly. The magnitude 3.0 earthquake that occurred in Siheung city in 2010 occurred in an anticipated fault (aF) that developed in the north-south direction. In the western region of the Dongducheon Fault (≒5,500 m), the density boundary of the rock mass is deeper than that in the eastern region (≒4,000 m), suggesting that the tectonic movements of the western and eastern regions of the Dongducheon Fault is different. The maximum depth of the fracture zone developed in the Dongducheon Fault is about 6,500 m, and it is the deepest in the research area. It is estimated that the fracture zone extends to a depth of about 6,000 m for the Pocheon Fault, about 5,000 m for the Wangsukcheon Fault, and about 6,000 m for the Gyeonggang Fault.

Test of SRC Column-to-Composite Beam Connection under Gravity Loading (중력하중을 받는 SRC기둥-합성보 접합부 실험)

  • In this paper, steel reinforced concrete(SRC) column and composite beam connections were statically tested under gravity loading. The composite beam consists of H-section and U-section members. Five full-scaled specimens were designed to investigate the effect of a number of parameters on behavior of connections such as H-section size, the presence of stud connector, the presence of stiffeners and top bars. In addition, structural performance of welded joint between the H-section and the U-section members is mainly discussed, with an emphasis on initial stiffness, strength, deformation capacity.

  • Interests in renewable energy have been increasing with low-carbon policy and concerns about radioactivity. And solar energy is receiving attention as the most realistic energy in the industry. Demand for solar energy was started in Germany and European countries, and further expanding to other countries. And Korea became one of the high technology level countries in that industry. So, systematic analysis is needed for trading fact and overseas expansion of Korea's photovoltaic energy together with increased demand in the world. In this paper, we analyzed panel data for 25 years, from 1990 to 2014 from 11 countries that have track record with Korea's PV product. It is conducted based on Gravity model and matched with general report for Korean PV industry. But it shows different result for other factors.

  • 지게차사고의 대부분은 지게차의 좁은 바퀴간격에 비하여 무게중심이 상대적으로 많이 이동함으로서 전도사고가 일어나며, 이는 작업장에서 직접적으로 중대사고로 연결된다. 이러한 중력이동은 화물의 작업높이와 밀접한 관계가 있으며, 이로서 안정성에 직결되고 있다. 안정성 범위는 무게중심이 화물의 승강높이 범위에 넘어서 너무 무겁다든지, 혹은 너무 틸팅된 각도에 안정성 범위가 결정되고 있으므로, 본 연구에서는 각 작업시의 안정성 범위에 대하여 시뮬레이션 및 분석을 행하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 칼라공간상의 거리와 이웃정보를 이용한 클러스터링을 통한 칼라영상 분할 방법을 제안한다. 칼라영상의 한 픽셀은 칼라정보(R.G.B)와 위치정보(x.y)를 가진다. 대개의 칼라공간에서의 클러스터링방법은 픽셀을 (R,G,B)공간으로 변환후 (R,G,B)공간상의 분포만을 이용하지만 여기서는(R,G,B)와 (x.y)모두를 사용하여 클러스터링함으로 영상의 세그먼트들을 찾는다. 클러스터링 방법으로서 인력을 모방하는 중력 클러스터링(gravitational clustering)을 사용하였다. 이 방법은 클러스터의 중심값과 클러스터 수를 미리 정해주지 않아도 자동적으로 결정할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 중력 클러스터링에서 찾은 클러스터 수를 가지고 다른 클러스터링 방법(K-means)에 입력으로 주어 결과를 비교해 본다. 본 논문에서는 이웃관계를 따라 클러스터링하는 것이 정확한 경계선을 찾는데 효과적임을 보여준다.

  • Inertial navigation systems requires gravity model to compute gravity acceleration and its trajectory accuracy depends on the gravity model accuracy especially for a long range flight. The gravity model accuracy is important for satellite orbit prediction as well. The precision gravity model requires a precision coordinate transformation between inertial and Earth fixed coordinates. Precision gravity acceleration algorithms with a coordinate transform are studied and a computer program is developed. The effects of individual model components on trajectory error are analyzed.

  • 한탄강홍수조절댐의 형식은 기본설계(TK)시 지형 및 지질조건, 재료원 조건, 댐 안정성, 여수로설치조건, 친환경조건, 경제성 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 콘크리트중력심댐으로 결정하였으며, 콘크리트 중력심댐 축조를 위한 공법으로 재래식 타설공법과, Layer 타설공법을 가설비 규모, 시공성, 공기 등을 비교 검토하여 Layer 타설공법(R.C.D)을 채택하였다. Layer 타설공법은 일정 물량에 이상에 대해서는 일반 콘크리트 블록식 타설공법과 비교하여 경제성과 시공성 등이 양호하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 사업 진행중인 한탄강홍수조절댐을 통한 R.C.D공법과 일반 블록식 콘크리트 타설 방법을 비교 분석하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 2014년 세월호 사고 이후 해양재난사고에 대한 국민들의 경각심이 고조되었으며 해양레저인구증가로 인한 해양사고가 증가되는 상황에서 사고예방 및 해양안전문화 고취를 위한 해양안전교육센터 구축하고자 수요추정을 수행하였다. 특히, 우리나라 대부분의 해양안전체험관과 유사한 체험관들은 대부분 전라, 경기지역에 분포하고 있어 지역 편향을 해소하는 차원에서 동남권 안전센터 구축이 필요한 상황이며 해양레저 및 해양산업의 중심이 영남권에 위치하고 있기 때문에 안전교육센터의 구축의 정책적인 타당성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 해양안전교육센터 수요추정을 중력모형을 활용하여 수행하였으며 사회경제적인 타당성의 근거로서 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
