As artificial intelligence (AI) is emphasized in elementary and secondary school education, interest in AI-applied class activities is increasing. Since AI is taught across various subjects in schools, teachers must plan lessons based on the principles of convergence education. In this paper, the concept of convergence education and matters to be considered for productive class activities were reviewed. Then, considerations for designing AI classes in schools are presented in the following aspects: characteristics of AI education in schools; educational goals for each school level in the general guidelines of the national curriculum; resources to be referenced when composing class content; perspectives on AI-applied software; and anticipated instructional procedures. As a suggestion, the following is presented. First, it is necessary to derive competencies that can be cultivated by AI education in school. Second, it is necessary to specify the design elements and procedures of AI classes based on the subject characteristics.

인터넷 활용을 통한 교수학습이 교육 전반에 파급되면서부터 교사 홈페이지의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 교사들은 홈페이지 제작 능력이 부족하거나 제작하는데 근무외 시간을 많이 들여야 한다는 부담감으로 인해 홈페이지를 제작하여 운영할 엄두를 내지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 홈페이지 제작을 위한 기본지식이 전혀 없는 초보자나 비전공사라 할지라도 최소의 필요정보 입력만으로 학급 홈페이지를 제작할 수 있는 인터넷의 기반의 초 중등학교 교사용 홈페이지 자동생성시스템 구현에 관한 연구를 하였다 그에 따라 초·중등학교의 교육정보화를 위한 홈페이지의 요구사항을 분석하였고, 학교와 가정을 연계할 수 있는 동적인 홈페이지 구현을 위한 표준 모형을 설계하였다. 또한 제안한 홈페이지의 설계를 기초로 하여 홈페이지 자동생성시스템의 요구사항을 분석하였고, JSP 프로그래밍 방식을 이용하여 자동생성시스템을 설계 구현하였다. 본 시스템의 결과를 바탕으로 향후 초·중등학교 교사의 홈페이지가 쉽게 구축될 수 있음은 물론, 학교 정보화를 위한 교육보조수단으로 활용함으로써 교육 정보화를 향한 작은 밑거름이 될 수 있을 것이다.

This research aims to suggest the way of activation of book curation in secondary school libraries by analyzing examples of book curation and the recognition of the persons in charge of secondary school libraries. A documentary research and a survey is conducted. 192 school librarians are chosen for that survey in Incheon region secondary school. 4 teacher librarians of Incheon region secondary school and a professor of library and information science are interviewed. Also an investigation is executed by visiting school libraries. Augmentation of the persons in charge of secondary school libraries, coordinating and information sharing with educational teachers, establishment of manual for book curation operation, publishing examples of subject selection are suggested for the measure of activation of book curation.

유엔을 비롯한 국제단체와 각 국의 정부에서는 공개 소프트웨어 보급을 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 또한 우리나라에서도 공개 소프트웨어를 활성화하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 공개소프트웨어 시범 사업과 정보화 사업 평가 항목에 공개 소프트웨어 사용하면 가점을 부여하고 있다. 그러나 잠재적인 공개 소프트웨어 사용자들인 중등학교 학생을 대상으로 공개 소프트웨어에 대한 홍보와 교육이 부족한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 중등학교에서 학생들의 공개 소프트웨어에 대한 인지도를 파악하고 분석한다. 이 연구 결과는 중등학교에서의 공개 소프트웨어 교육을 활성화하기 위해 방안을 찾는데 기초 자료로 활용 될 수 있다.

This study purposed to analyze problems in utilizing hardware and software invested for elementary and secondary school that were distributed through the education information project so far, and to make plans for substantial operation. In order to identify relevant problems and to draw up plans for substantial operation, this study analyzed relevant previous researches and investigated the current state of the utilization of educational information resources in school through question investigation. In addition, we visited elementary, secondary schools, and governmental departments of relevant personnel and had interviews with the people there. From this, we suggested the substance proposals of the educational information resources operation for elementary and secondary school. Therefore, the substance proposal to the information resource in education that was produced by this study would be useful to establish and execute relevant policy for elementary and secondary schools and governmental departments.

The purpose of this study is to present the importance of systematic database education in elementary and secondary schools in Korea. The authors compared the curriculum for database education in elementary and secondary schools of Gyeongsangbuk-do province in Korea with that of Arcola schools in the state of Illinois, US. The database industries of both countries were also compared to suggest the significance of database education in Korea. We have shown that it is urgent to include database education in IT curriculum for elementary and secondary schools in Korea considering importance of database itself as well as the magnitude and growth rate of database industries in 21st century. Contrary to our research results, however, it is shown the IT curriculums of elementary and secondary schools in Korea is hardly adequate to provide systematic database education required in information society. Based on these results, we conclude that IT curriculums should be revised to accommodate systematic database education for elementary and secondary schools in Korea.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between role ambiguity, role conflict and job satisfaction, job performance. The participants of this study were 300 secondary physical education teachers in Busan, using cluster random sampling. Finally 282 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 14.0 and the results were as follows. Role ambiguity of secondary physical education teachers had a negative effect on job satisfaction and job performance. Role conflict of secondary physical education teachers had a negative effect on job satisfaction but had no effect on job performance.
