The purpose of this thesis is to find the effective way of practical education in the fashion related department in order to supply the appropriate experts to the Korean apparel manufacturers located in Dalian, China. The interviews were made twice from $25^{th}$ of Feb. to $15^{th}$ of Mar. 2005 and from $28^{th}$ of July to 31st of July 2005 through the method ot a direct interview with the CEOs of the 7 representative apparel manufactures. The results of the interviews were as following. Seven companies$(100\%)$ participated in the survey all complained of insufficient workers. Also the companies were having difficulties at finding appropriate workers who can handle designing, management, and circulation, because specialists who are fluent in Korean and Chinese are very rare. Moreover, Korean apparel manufacturers are now taking a step further to launch a high quality fashion brand, getting out of the simple hand work depending on low wage or low-tech(6 companies $85.7\%$). Thus, well-educated fashion specialists(intermediate manager) are required on the part of Korean clothing companies or apparel manufacturers in China. It is expected the intermediate managers and the specialists who are capable of launching a new brand will be urgently needed. Therefore, appropriate educations in Korea would be essential to minimize the problems the Korean fashion specialists might face in China. 1 would like to present three suggestions. 1. The highly educated Korean fashion specialists on apparel industry will be a solution both to the high jobless status in our country and to the deficiency in human resources of Korean apparel manufacturers in Dalian. 2. The students in the college should learn how to write down the working chart and matching chart in practical conditions. Taking an intern-ship in working factories in China during a certain period of time will be helpful. 3. The experts should be trained with emphasis on the quality, design, and value of the brand. This study will be used as a base for Koreans who work in fashion related department to enter the Chinese fashion market having a great potential.
The purpose of this paper is to analyse the effect of Korean FDI(1990-2008) in China by industries on exports and imports between two countries. We use time series regression, Vector Error Correction Model and Impulse Response Function as methodologies. Our findings through empirical tests are as follows. First Korean FDI in China increases Korean exports with China but shows a tendency to decrease due to the local content of China. Second Korean FDI in China increases Korean imports in SITC 8 with China. Finally Korean trade surplus caused by Korean FDI in China shrinks due to the decreasing of exports and increasing of imports in Korea. Korean FDI in China should be oriented host country's market oriented rather than production efficiency oriented because of unfriendly foreign investment environments in China.

The purpose of this study was 1) to inquire into characteristics of apparel manufacturers and distributors in China, 2) to classify private Guanxi and organizational relationship type, 3) to find differences in private Guanxi to enterprise type and the class of participations' position, and 4) to also find effects of private Guanxi on organizational relationship. Apparel manufacturers and distributors in China participated in the study. Random sampling method was used to collect the data. Data from 173 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. Descriptive analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, t-test, and regression analysis were conducted. Two factors of private Guanxi were classified(i.e., affective Guanxi, instrumental Guanxi). Three factors of organizational relationship type were identified(i.e., opportunistic relationship, cooperative relationship, vertical relationship). The results indicated that distributors regarded affective Guanxi as important more than manufactures and employees regarded affective Guanxi and instrumental Guanxi as important more than presidents. Distributors regarded cooperative relationship as important more than manufactures. Employees regarded organizational relationship as important more than presidents. Affective Guanxi positively affected on cooperative relationship and vertical relationship but negatively affected on opportunistic relationship. Instrumental Guanxi positively affected on opportunistic relationship and vertical relationship. The result of this study may give valuable information to retail merchandisers and strategists who participated in fashion business in China.
Future of Busan New Port may depend even on the efficient use of the port hinterland. Accordingly, selection of which industry according to which standard in the port hinterland is another task. In order to solve this problem, it analyzed the structure in international division of labor with China and Japan, which are possessing considerable portion in the trading volume with our country, and the export-import structure of Busan Port against China and Japan, by using RCA index and GL index as well as export-import results. In addition to this, the proper industry was selected on the basis of 10 strategic industries for development in Busan. According to the analytical results, the industries, which will be induced in the hinterland of Busan New Port, include textile clothing, pulp printing matter, jewelry, basic metal nonmetallic product, machine lectric product, automobile, shipbuilding, optics accurate machinery medical treatment musical instrument, nano material, fuel battery, aerospace and intelligent robot.
In the context of Sustainable development, China, the world's second-largest apparel market, is also concerned about the environmental impact of fiber waste. Currently, there is a great interest in sustainable fashion in both supply and demand in China. Based on the theory of planned behavior(TPB), the determinants of sustainable fashion consumption(SFC) of Chinese consumers were evaluated in this study: man-nature orientation(MNO) and environmental knowledge(EK) as motivation and perceived online-store accessibility(POA) and perceived money availability(PMA) as barriers. Wenjuanxing, a Chinese professional survey collection agency, conducted an online survey of millennials in Shanghai, China. The final sample size for the survey was 215. Partial least squares structural equation modeling was employed to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicated that attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control significantly affected the purchase intention towards sustainable fashion products. MNO and EK influenced the attitude, whereas EK, POA, and PMA influenced perceived behavioral control. This study contributes to the TPB literature through the examination of four antecedents: MNO, EK, POA, and PMA. The findings provide valuable insights for retailers and markets based on the identification of the motivations and barriers that enhance the purchasing intention of Chinese millennials toward SFC.
This study is intended to offer basic data for developing outdoor clothing exported to China by identifying how Chinese consumers use outdoor clothing. To accomplish the objective, a survey was conducted on 300 male and female Chinese tourists in their 10s to 40s who have purchased outdoor clothing before. As more than twice as many respondents said they wear sweatsuit or everyday clothes for mountain-climbing instead of outdoor clothing, the necessity of outdoor clothing is obviously perceived at a low level. Among them, 57.4% wear outdoor clothing as townwear in everyday lives, and other respondents are dissatisfied with the design. Thus, it is necessary to develop townwear-style design. When buying outdoor clothing, wearability was the biggest consideration. Also, the first criteria for evaluating outdoor clothing was practicality for mountain-climbing activities. The functionality of outdoor clothing they needed the most was air permeability. As for outdoor clothing top, the main inconvenience was tightness around the neck. As for bottoms, it was tightness of pants when bending knees. In terms of areas to be improved, the No. 1 was unformed design. Thus, it is imperative to develop design of diverse styles. As the Chinese outdoor clothing market has grown significantly in recent years, the following should be executed by domestic companies before advancing to the market. First, they should form Korean brand image and boost the brand awareness with various activities, amid Korean Wave. Second, they should develop preferred designs among Chinese consumers and strengthen functionality of products, based on consumer survey.

The acceleration of digital transformation (DX) has resulted in SNS influencer marketing trends becoming the mainstream of the new market. SNS influencers act as early adopters in the process of new products being accepted. Chinese consumers are most affected by Hallyu, which increases interest in K-beauty products. This study analyzes how K-beauty SNS influencers are related to Chinese consumers. A survey was conducted among Chinese millennial consumers after watching videos provided by K-beauty SNS influencer; subsequently, 456 responses were used for data analysis. As a result, the analysis based on the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) distinguishes the central route and the peripheral route in the process of Chinese consumers accepting new SNS products. The study findings suggested that information quality, credibility, accuracy, and usefulness had significant effects on acceptance intention for new products among central route factors, and similarity, trustworthiness, pleasure, expertise, and attractiveness also had significant effects on the acceptance intention of new product among peripheral route factors. It was found that variables of the central route, rather than those of peripheral route, had stronger effects on the acceptance intention for new products. Consequently, the central route of K-beauty SNS influencer is more important to Chinese consumers' acceptance of new products. It is expected that this study will offer beauty influencer marketing-based cosmetics brands efficient consumer management suggestions.
This study explored the impact of beauty influencers' characteristics and product characteristics on new product acceptance intentions and studied the mediating effects of consumer trust in this process. A survey was conducted from February 22, 2021, to February 28, 2021, with Gen Y and Gen Z women in China, and 379 questionnaires were analyzed. The conclusions are as follows: First, the characteristics of beauty influencers are authenticity and expertise, similarity, attractiveness, interactivity, familiarity, and trustworthiness; product characteristics are cost, image, product quality, product perception, sales promotion, and sustainability. Second, partial beauty influencers' characteristics and partial product characteristics have a positive impact on consumer confidence and acceptance intention of the new product. Third, the mediating effect of consumer trust in the process by which beauty influencers' characteristics and product characteristics influence the intention of new product acceptance was determined. Therefore, when beauty companies use influencers in marketing, it is necessary to understand their characteristics, consider their professionality and authenticity, examine their reliability, and assess their ability to form connections with images and viewers that match their products. Additionally, to increase the acceptance intention of new products, companies should present the price of high-quality products, product sensibilities, and corporate images of products and establish measures that can positively affect consumers' acceptance intention of new products by combining them with the characteristics of beauty influencers.
This study aimed to unveil the causality between the emotional marketing of aesthetic salons and brand awareness/relationship continuity in Chinese female consumers. For data collection, a self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted among adult women in their 20s or older in Liaoning Province, China, from February 2 to 18, 2023, using WeChat. From a total of 431distributed questionnaires, 393 copies were collected. Then, 369 copies, excluding 24 poorly answered ones, were used for the final analysis. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and the summary of the results of the study is as follows. First, in emotional marketing, sight, smell, hearing, and taste had a positive(+) influence on both cognitive and affective experiences. Second, in emotional marketing, sight, smell, and taste displayed a positive(+) effect on relationship continuity. Third, in brand awareness, both cognitive and affective experiences showed a positive(+) effect on relationship continuity. Collectively, this means that the higher the cognitive and emotional marketing of brand awareness, the higher the relationship continuity persistence. This study confirmed the causality among the emotional marketing of aesthetic salons, brand awareness, and relationship continuity; sight and taste were key factors that influenced brand awareness and relationship continuity. In addition, hearing and smell were important, influencing the relationships among variables.
