Safe Climbing Path Planning by Image Processing (영상 처리에 의한 안전한 등반 경로 계획)

  • This paper deals with a safe climbing path planning for unmanned automatic vehicles. Unlike the existing path planning schemes, the safety is the highest priority for our approach. To achieve this, the global potential field which includes a dangerous zone as well a given terrain information is generated, and the way-points are determined by using image processing such as the erosion operation. The proposed method can reduce the computation effort and the amount of information, and provide the safe climbing path which is similar to human's intuition.

  • 본 논문에서는 경로계획 알고리즘으로 사용한 거리변환 경로곡선상에 중간경유점을 설정한후 이를 최적화시켜 각 이동로봇의 주행경로를 최적화 하였고, 로봇간의 우선 순위를 설정하여 원활한 충돌회피가 이루어지도록 하였으며, 각 로봇은 충돌회피 후에도 중간 경유점 까지 최단거리로의 주행이 이루어지도록 하였다. 또한 기존에 제시된 방법에 외길 입구에 경고 지점을 지정함으로써 외길에서의 상호충돌을 방지하는 효과를 주었다. 이로써 로봇간의 우선 순위의 설정으로 인하여 생기는 시간 지연을 해소시키는 효과를 가져올 수 있었다. 로봇간의 우선순위를 설정함에 있어서 또다른 변수를 추가시킴으로 로봇이외의 움직이는 장애물에 대해서도 고려하도록 하였다. 위와 같이, 본 논문에서는 여러대의 이동로봇을 고정된, 움직이는 장애물이 있는 환경하에서 장애물 회피시마다 최단경로로 주행하여 주어진 목표점까지 이동시키는 경로계획에 관하여 연구하였다.

Estimating Travel Frequency of Public Bikes in Seoul Considering Intermediate Stops (경유지를 고려한 서울시 공공자전거 통행발생량 추정 모형 개발)

  • Bikes have recently emerged as an alternative to carbon neutrality. To understand the demand for public bikes, we endeavored to estimate travel frequency of public bike by considering the intermediate stops. Using the GPS trajectory data of 'Ttareungyi', a public bike service in Seoul, we identified a stay point and estimated travel frequency reflecting population, land use, and physical characteristics. Application of map matching and a stay point detection algorithm revealed that stay point appeared in about 12.1% of the total trips. Compared to a trip without stay point, the trip with stay point has a longer average travel distance and travel time and a higher occurrence rate during off-peak hours. According to visualization analysis, the stay points are mainly found in parks, leisure facilities, and business facilities. To consider the stay point, the unit of analysis was set as a hexagonal grid rather than the existing rental station base. Travel frequency considering the stay point were analyzed using the Zero-Inflated Negative Binomial (ZINB) model. Results of our analysis revealed that the travel frequency were higher in bike infrastructure where the safety of bike users was secured, such as 'Bikepath' and 'Bike and pedestrian path'. Also, public bikes play a role as first & last mile means of access to public transportation. The measure of travel frequency was also observed to increase in life and employment centers. Considering the results of this analysis, securing safety facilities and space for users should be given priority when planning any additional expansion of bike infrastructure. Moreover, there is a necessity to establish a plan to supply bike infrastructure facilities linked to public transportation, especially the subway.

Lifetime Improvement of Wireless Sensor Network using the Distribution of a Transmission Distance in the SEP (SEP에서 전송 거리 분배를 이용한 무선 센서 네트워크 수명 개선)

  • In this paper, we propose a method for improving the lifetime of the sensor network SEP through the wireless sensor network divided into two spaces by reducing the transmission distance of the cluster head in the layer in the distance. With reference to the position information of the node, the base station divides the layer based on the midpoint of the nearest node and the furthest distance away from the base station node. And the cluster head in the outer layer far from the base station is transmitted the data to the base station via the cluster head in the inner layer base station to transmit data. That is, we are proposed the layered SEP by reducing the transmission distance of the cluster head in the outer layer for the energy consumption to a minimum. The proposed algorithm is verified by comparison with the existing SEP.

Heating Effect by Electric Radiator in Greenhouse of Chrysanthemum Cultivation (전기 방열기가 국화재배온실의 난방에 미치는 영향)

  • An analysis in heating effects of an electric radiator located in a 1-2W type chrysanthemum (3 cultivars) cultivation greenhouse installed in Gyeongsang National University drew the following conclusions. During the experiment period, the highest, average, and the lowest outside temperatures were in the ranges of $-3.8{\sim}21.3^{\circ}C$, $-5.2{\sim}16.1^{\circ}C$ and $-12.5{\sim}14.4^{\circ}C$, respectively, and the average relative humidity inside and outside the greenhouses were in the ranges of 43.5~98.6% and 35.2~100%, respectively. From mid-December to early February, the lowest outside temperature was recorded as approximately $-5.0{\sim}-10.0^{\circ}C$, which showed that it tended to be relatively lower than the temperatures recorded at the Jinju Meteorological Observatory. During the night, the leaf temperature measured directly under the radiator tended to be higher by $2{\sim}3^{\circ}C$ than that those at the middle point of the radiator, or higher by a negligible amount. In the case of root zone temperature, it was found that there was almost no difference between temperatures of the part directly under and the middle point, and the time when the highest temperature of root zone and other highest temperatures took place showed that there was about a 2-hour delay phenomenon. The total electricity consumption, energy supply and total heating cost during the experiment period were 2,800 kWh, 2,408,000 kcal and 112,000 won, respectively. When diesel, a kind of fossil fuel, was used as heating oil, the total heating cost was around 224,500 won. It was estimated that the total heating cost could be reduced by around 50% if a radiator was used.

Supply Chain-based Freight Distribution Channel Choice Model using Distribution Channel Analysis (유통경로분석을 통한 공급사슬기반의 화물유통경로선택모형 개발)

  • The objective of this study is to develop a supply chain-based freight distribution channel choice model considering shippers' logistics behaviors which will be used for freight demand estimation. For this purpose, this study utilized the distribution channel data of the petrochemical and automobile industries collected by KTDB center. The distribution channel choice models for these industries were developed by including transport mode, time, cost, and shipment size. It was found that the multinomial logit model with transport cost, time and shipment size is the best, and as shipment increases, bigger transport mode is preferred. Generally direct distribution channel with small truck was preferred over the one using distribution center and/or big truck.
