  • 본고에서는 현재 대구에서 구축 진행 중인 ITS기반 지능형자동차부품주행시험장에 대한 구축배경과 인프라 현황을 살펴보고 국내의 기존 주행시험장과의 차별성을 알아본다.

  • By using modeling and simulation. today's design engineers are simultaneously reducing time to market and decreasing the cost of development, while increasing the quality and reliability of their products. A driving simulator is the best example of this method and allows virtual designs of control systems, electronic systems, mechanical systems and hydraulic system of a vehicle to be evaluated before costly prototyping. The objective of this Paper is to develop the virtual Proving: ground using a driving simulator and to show its capabilities of an automotive system development tool. For this purpose, including a real-time vehicle dynamics analysis system, the PC-based driving simulator and the virtual proving ground are developed by using VR(Virtual Reality) techniques. Also ABS HIL(Hardware-In-the-Loop ) simulation is performed successfully.

  • 서비스 로봇은 효과적인 작업 수행을 위해 장소 인식을 정확하고 빠르게 할 필요가 있다. 이러한 장소 인식을 위해 영상 센서를 사용하여 데이터베이스와 비교하여 장소를 인식하는 방식이 많이 사용되고 있다. 현재 사용 가능한 영상 데이터베이스는 하나의 공간에서 다양하게 얻을 수 있는 영상을 수집하여 갖추고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 SEFEX database는 병원 실내에서 촬영된 영상 데이터베이스로 총 25개 촬영장소 (회전 영상 촬영 장소 15가지, 주행 영상 촬영 장소 10가지), 기준 영상 총 100장 (회전 영상 : 60장, 주행영상: 40장)과 시험 영상 총 250장 (회전 영상 : 150장, 주행 영상: 100장)의 사진으로 구성되어 있다. 이 영상 데이터베이스를 이용하여 제조사나 연구자가 장소 인식 성능 평가의 척도나 알고리즘의 평가 척도로 사용할 수 있을 것으로 예상되며, 새로운 장소 인식 방법의 개발 등의 장소 인식 분야에 사용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • In this paper, a novel mechanism for overcoming obstacles is studied by designing an All-Directional RC car for obstacle traversal and creating test courses with various obstacles. We propose an algorithm for controlling the RDS3115 servo motor and utilize a gyro sensor to detect the incline of various obstacle terrains, adjusting the servo motor's angle to enable the RC car to navigate the terrain. Through terrain experiments in the test course, we determined the most suitable RC car turning angles for traversing all obstacle terrains created in the experimental terrain.

  • Currently, there are some aptitude test systems for older drivers in Korea. However, there are no methods and systems to evaluate the real driving ability for older drivers based on filed driving test. This study was conducted to investigate the availability to use the driving course test used for driving license for identifying difference in driving ability of older and non-older drivers. For the research purpose, filed experiments were conducted using the real driving course test site and evaluation times used in the field. In particular, driving behavior data that obtained from the experiments for two driver groups, older and non-older drivers, were analyzed and compared. From several statistical analyses of driving ability and vision and cognitive ability, it was found that the currently used driving course test site and evaluation times were not appropriated to identify driving ability deficiency of older drivers. To solve the problem, this study developed five evaluation items to identify driving ability deficiency of older drivers using the currently used driving course test site. It was also found that the developed five evaluation items have statistically significant correlation with vision and cognitive ability.

  • Path driving tests are necessary for the development of self-driving cars or robots. These tests are being conducted in simulation as well as real environments. In particular, for development using reinforcement learning and deep learning, development through simulators is also being carried out when data of various environments are needed. To this end, it is necessary to utilize not only manually designed paths but also various randomly and automatically designed paths. This test site design can be used for actual construction and manufacturing. In this paper, we introduce a method for randomly generating a driving test path consisting of a combination of arcs and segments. This consists of a method of determining whether there is a collision by obtaining the distance between an arc and a line segment, and an algorithm that deletes part of the path and recreates an appropriate path if it is impossible to continue the path.

  • In this study, an indoor test environment was developed for studying the vision stabilizer of an unmanned vehicle, using a virtual environment and a 6-axis motion simulator. The real driving environment was replaced by a virtual environment based on the Aberdeen Proving Ground bump test course for military tank testing. The vehicle motion was reproduced by a 6-axis motion simulator. Virtual reality driving courses were displayed in front of the vision stabilizer, which was located on the top of the motion simulator. The performance of the stabilizer was investigated by checking the image of the camera, and the pitch and roll angles of the stabilizer captured by the IMU sensor of the camera.

  • 도시생활에서 가장 짜증스러운 것은 자동차 소음이다. 경제발전과 더불어 인구의 도시 집중과 급격한 차량증가는 교통량이 많은 간선도로변을 중심으로 도로교통 소음문제가 야기되고 있으며, 우리나라도 지난 '97. 7월 자동차 1000만대 보유국이 되었다. 도로교통 소음은 자동차에서 발생하는 소음과 차량의 통행량, 차량의 주행속도및 도로주변 조건등 각종 요인이 복합 된 것으로 저속운행이 일반적인 도시에서는 자동차에서 발생하는 소음 중 엔진에서 나는 소음이 대개 60% 이상을 점하게 된다. 이러한 문제점 등을 감안하고 쾌적한 생활 환경 조성을 위하여 환경부에서는 제작차 소음 허용기준을 정하여 제작차가 시판되기전 단계에서 제작차 소음 허용기준에 적합하게 제작되는지 여부를 관리하기 위하여 인증제도를 시행 중에 있으며, 인증 시험에 통과된 차량에 대해서만 제작 시판할 수 있도록 법제화하여 운영하고 있다. 인증에 필요한 시험은 자동차의 가속주행소음, 배기소음 및 경적소음 시험으로써 본 장에서는 제작차 인증시험과 평가방법 등을 소개하고, 아울러 도로교통 소음 진동에 대하여서도 기술하고자 한다.

An Experimental Study on Braking Thermal Damage of Brake Disk Cover (브레이크 디스크 커버의 제동 열손상에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • The disk cover is installed to protect brake disk and calliper and it's removed right before delivering to customers. The temperature of disk cover was measured driving test vehicles(2000cc, diesel) in this study. The highest temperature measured for the driving test(120km/h-braking(0.3G)-stop-120km/h-braking(0.5G)-stop) was $260{\sim}270^{\circ}C$ in the upper part of the disk cover and the temperature varied considerably around the disk cover. It can be inferred from this temperature distribution around the cover that the major heat transfer from hot disk to cover was through convection. In other words, the hot air generated by braking friction moved up to the upper part of the disk cover. And only the upper area of the disk cover was melted down during this driving test. The thickness of disk cover was increased to 1.0mm from 0.7mm and 1 paper of masking tape was pasted in the upper region of the disk cover. Then the cover endured the heated air formed by braking friction during the driving test.
