An Experimental Study on Flow Characteristic Around Inclined Crest Groyne (경사수제 주변 흐름특성 분석에 관한 실험연구)

  • In case of inclined crest groyne, flow constriction with water is different. Therefore, it is proper to apply to narrow channel or there is a risk of overflow with water level rising caused by installation of groynes. This study were conducted experiments on inclined crest groyne. Main factors of inclined crest groyne are angles of crests slope and changes of water level. Velocity profile around groyne was measured by LSPIV (Large Scale Particle Image Velocimetry). Flow fields around groyne were analyzed focused on main channel and recirculation area. From the results, Thalweg change has little an effect on rate length and height of recirculation rises on increasing rate length. Length of recirculation area was about 12$\sim$16 times of rate length of groyne. Maximum velocity in main channel area was measured about 1.45$\sim$2.1 times of approach velocity and has little an effect on crest angle of groyne. Back water velocity recirculation area was decreased on approach velocity. This result presents to make stable flow to bank protection.

2009 Revised Home Economics Curriculum in Relation to the Character Education (2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 가정과 교육과정과 인성교육과의 관련성)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the previous literature in home economics and contents and achievement standards of 2009 revised curruculum in relation to character education. To achieve this purpose 1) the literature review in human development and family, self-management and consumption life, food, clothing, and housing life area is critically discussed in relation to character education, and 2) curriculum contents and achievement standards are analysed in relation to the six pillars(trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship) of character education proposed by Josephson Institute. The results of analysis are verified by five experts in home economics content areas. Specific results of relation between home economics contents/achievement standards and six elements of character education are as follows. Human development and family area is most closely related with all elements of character education among other content areas. In Self-management and consumption life areas, self-management sub-area is very closely related with responsibility element; and consumption life sub-area is very closely related with citizenship element. In food area, health diet and eating sub-area is very closely related with trustworthiness, respect, and responsibility elements; and eco-frendly diet and food sub-area is very closely related with all six elements. In clothing area, clothing and self-expression sub-area is very closely related with trustworthiness, caring, and citizenship elements; and eco-friendly clothing and clothing reform sub-area is very closely related with responsibility, caring, and citizenship elements. In hosing area, housing and living environment sub-area is very closely related with responsibility and caring elements; and sustainable living and decorating living space sub-area is very closed related with trustworthiness, fairness, and citizenship elements.

Scientific Creativity and Visual Artistic Creativity: The Domain-universality and Domain-specificity on Creative Accomplishment (과학적 창의성과 시각예술적 창의성: 창의적 성취 사례의 영역보편성 및 영역특정성)

  • The object of this research is to understand the domain-universality and domain-specificity of scientific domain and visual art domain from case studies on individuals who had made creative accomplishments in the domain of science and visual art. For case studies, 10 people who made creative accomplishments in the science and technology domain and 9 people who made creative accomplishments in the visual art domain were selected as the research participants. The conclusions for the case studies were made on the data obtained from interviewing the research participants using KES as an analytical frame. The findings of this study support as follows. Creativity on scientific domain and visual art domain is both the domain-universality and domain-Specificity. The domain-universality Of scientific domain and visual art domain is related to the nature of human beings, originality in creativity, and the natural selection. On the other hand, The domain-specificity of scientific domain and visual art domain is related to the type of knowledge and the context of applying the knowledge, will, thinking skill, direction, and social components.

Efficient Object Classification Scheme for Scanned Educational Book Image (교육용 도서 영상을 위한 효과적인 객체 자동 분류 기술)

  • Despite the fact that the copyright has grown into a large-scale business, there are many constant problems especially in image copyright. In this study, we propose an automatic object extraction and classification system for the scanned educational book image by combining document image processing and intelligent information technology like deep learning. First, the proposed technology removes noise component and then performs a visual attention assessment-based region separation. Then we carry out grouping operation based on extracted block areas and categorize each block as a picture or a character area. Finally, the caption area is extracted by searching around the classified picture area. As a result of the performance evaluation, it can be seen an average accuracy of 83% in the extraction of the image and caption area. For only image region detection, up-to 97% of accuracy is verified.

Seeking a Way for the Connection of Curriculum of Infants and Children Based on the Area of Inquiry in Daily Life -Centered on the Early Learning Standards in America- (미국의 조기학습기준의 분석으로 살펴본 시사점을 통하여 자연탐구영역의 영아와 유아의 교육과정의 연계 방향 모색)

  • The objective of this study was to plan a direction for the connection of the area of inquiry in daily life between infants and young children in Korea based on the analysis of the early learning standards for infants aged 0~2, and young children aged 3~4/5 in 17 different states in America. The problem of the study is as follows: What is the content area of cognitive development, science and mathematics of early learning standards regarding age? The data used in this study was collected from a total of 17 states in America in which 12 states classify infants and young children as aged 0~2 and 3~4/5 respectively and 5 states do not classify the age groups. The results obtained from the analysis of the given issues are as follows. First, in the case of the five states that showed the group aged 0~4/5, the contents related to the area of inquiry in daily life of the early learning standards were included in the mathematics and science and a part of these contents were also included in cognitive developments. In the case of the 12 states that classified the groups aged 0~2 and 3~4/5 respectively, the group aged 0~2 included cognitive developments and the group aged 3~4/5 includes mathematics and science. Second, the contents related to the area of inquiry in daily life of the early learning standards in the five states that showed the single group aged 0~4/5 include the contents in order of scientific idea, biology, physics, and the earth and space. In the 12 states that classify different age groups. Third, in the case of the states that separate age groups, the group aged 0~2 include the contents of number and operation, geometry and space while the group aged 3~4/5 include the contents of number and operations, geometry and space, and measurement. The implications of this study was that it is necessary to take into account the linking between development and characteristics of the subjects.

  • 다 영역 대화 시스템 개발에서는 영역 확장이 쉬워야 하며 처리하는 대화 영역이 늘어나더라도 대화 과정에서 사용자 편의성을 유지해야 하는 점이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 이런 특성을 가지는 다 영역 대화 시스템을 작성하기 위한 프레임워크를 제안한다. 이 프레임워크는 공통의 인터페이스를 구현하는 영역 전문가(Domain Expert) 기반으로 동작하므로 영역 확장이 용이하다. 또한 진행 중이던 대화를 종료하지 않은 채 타 대화 영역으로 이동하는 영역 전환(Domain Switching) 현상은 다 영역 대화를 복잡하게 만드는 주요한 원인 중 하나로써 이를 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 영역 전환 전략을 사용하여 사용자 편의성을 확보하였다.

  • 1990년 궤도에 진입한 허블우주망원경(이하 HST)이 수년내에 그 수명을 다하여 임무를 마치게 되면, 2007에서 2011년을 전후로 하여 미국, 일본과 유럽 연합은 각각 차세대 우주 망원경을 발사할 예정이다. 2007년 유럽연합의 Herschel, 2011년 미국의 JWST (James Webb Space Telescope), 그리고 2012년 일본의 SPICA가 차례로 발사되어 예정된 관측을 수행하게 된다. 기존의 HST가 가시광선 영역과 근자외선 영역을 주로 관측 했던 것과는 달리 이들 차세대 우주망원경들은 주로 근적외선에서 원적외선 영역까지를 관측하는 것을 주된 임무로 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국천문학자들이 이들 차세대 망원경의 제작에 참여하는 부분에 대해 소개하고, 이들 망원경을 활용한 적외선 천문학, 특히 항성의 형성과 관련된 부분에 관하여 소개하고자 한다.

  • 현재 진행되고 있는 제7차 수학교육과정에서 고등학교의 통계부분은 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 이 시점에서 고등학교 의 통계영역에 대해 고찰 해보는 것은 의미 있는 일이라 사료된다. 여기에서는 제7차 수학교육과정에서의 고등학교 통계영역의 지도와 개선방안에 관한 교사의 의견조사 및 분석을 주제로 하여 먼저 제7차 교육과정의 주요내용에 대해 살펴보고 고등학교 통계부분의 제6차 교육과정과 제7차 교육과정을 비교 해 보면서 아울러 주요 외국의 고등학교 통계 교육과정에 대해 살펴보고 현재 진행중인 제7차 수학교육과정에서의 고등학교 통계부분에 대한 현직 수학과 교사들에 대한 설문조사를 통해 설문결과를 살펴보고 설문결과에 대한 분석 및 지도방향을 고찰해보고, 결론에서는 지금까지의 연구를 통해 현재 우리나라의 고등학교 통계교육에 대한 문제점과 개선점에 대한 본인의 의견을 서술하고자 한다.

  • B2C 전자상거래 분야의 대표격인 인터넷쇼핑몰은 유통산업의 구조에 큰 영향을 미침에 따라 쇼핑몰의 성공적 구축 및 운영이 주된 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근 웹사이트 평가모델로 주목 받고 있는 3C-D-T 모델을 기반으로 보완하여 국내 인터넷쇼핑몰 웹사이트 평가에 보다 최적화된 평가모형을 제시하였다. 평가모형의 보완은 주로 평가영역 부분에서 이루어졌는데, 인터넷 쇼핑몰 웹사이트에서 비교적 비중이 적은 Community 영역의 평가점수가 전체 웹사이트 평가에 주는 영향을 최소화 시키는 의미가 있었다. 그리하여 3C-D-T 모델의 평가영역의 Commerce 항목과 Community 항목을 통합하여 새로이 Com&Com 항목을 구성했고, 그것으로 보다 최적화 된 인터넷쇼핑몰 웹사이트 평가모형을 구축할 수 있었다. 그리고 이 새로운 평가모델로 국내 메이저 종합쇼핑몰 웹사이트들을 분석, 비교평가 하였다.

A Study on the Design of Library Classification in the Tourism Field (관광분야의 새로운 분류체계 설계에 관한 연구)

  • This study is designed for library classification of the tourism. Contents studies are summarized as follows. First, an analysis of the current status of classification and items by a key work 'tourism' in KDC, NDC, DDC, UDC, and LCC which are main library classification tables today indicates that they are too limited to travelling and tourism, tourism policy, and tourist attractions etc. Second, we divided areas studies newly based on the theoretical books in order to extract the classification items of the tourism field, and comparatively analyzed main library classification systems today. We divided basic categories of the classification items into four including tourism general, tourists, tourism attraction, tourism media. Third, a new classification was designed for library classification of the tourism field. Basically, the tourism field was assigned to the main four items and the classification items which were weighted or scattered were adjusted.
