In the Chosun Dynasty (1392-1910), the walls and chimneys of palaces, temples, and the houses of the upper-class show various characteristics of decorative design patterns. This study investigated ceramic bricks and roof tiles, which is one aspect of environmental design studies. This study aimed to provide a typology ot traditional Korean design of bricks and roof tiles used in walls and chimneys, and to show the design characteristics. This study collected 685 designs of bricks and roof tiles, and divided them into 18 categories and 5 types of design patterns based on object figures, architectural styles, materials, and decorative methods. In conclusion, there were differences and similarities among the design patterns. In general, the palaces mostly used red, gray, and black bricks that had more detailed designs presenting auspicious signs or exorcism. But, temples and the houses usually used (black) roof tiles horizontally configured with the edges overlapping to decorate as wall as to strengthen their structure.

The foundation courses of industrial design from Bauhaus to today is, a delivery room of modern industrial design, played an essential role of the image formation in the current German design. In the foundation courses of industrial design that is required in our society, not only the concept gestalt should be understood, approached to industrial design through the integrated meaning of science and culture. In this paper, the historical establishment background of gestalt universities that contributed enormously to the development of German industrial design was analyzed, and then tried to understand the fundamentals of German design education. Also the results of the foundation courses at Bauhaus, Vim university and current German gestalt universities are compared to the products, which illustrates a typical German Image. With this comparison, the importance of the role of the basic design education was recognized, and using the results the necessary direction of the foundation courses in Korean industrial design was presented.

The purpose of this study is to propose the basic guideline of the environmental sculptures to improve the quality level of the urban surroundings. The concept of the environmental sculptures was established and their roles in urban street scenary were investigated. And then, the relationships between the visual satisfaction and the elements which affect the visual harmony of Urban street scenary were analysed. The result of this study can be summarized as follows; The visual satisfaction was shown high at the sculptures itself with good shape and esthetic sense, and the harmony among the surroundings was estimated highly at the sculptures of good harmony with the floor surface, building and the elements surrounded it. And the highest satisfaction was shown at the scenary with the dean images and visual stability. The correlation of the degree of satisfaction with 5 variables which effect the satisfaction of urban streetscape shows that the harmony of shape is the most important variable for urban street scenary.

쾌속조형 공정의 파트 성형 방향 결정 문제는 파트 표면의 품질, 제작시간, 파트 가격 등에 영향을 미치므로 대단히 중요하다. 실제적으로 이들 중요 변수들끼리는 모델제작과정에서 trade-off가 존재한다. 실제 파트 성형 방향 결정은 작업자의 경험이나 시행착오에 의해서 파트의 방향이 결정하고 있어 조금 복잡한 파트에 대해서는 최적의 성형을 결정하기 매우 힘들다. 일반적으로 쾌속조형 공정은 작업동안 공정변수가 변하지 않는 일정한 층두께를 가지고 작업을 수행한다.(중략)

The purpose of this study is to be data and to help understanding of pattern of Korean, Chinese and Japanese traditional dress. The methods of this study are the study of academic literatures as well as practical study through the analysis of case studies about actual works. The summary of this study's results is like followings. First, standard of Pattern are nature, mam-made in motif object, Naturalistic, Geometric, Stylized, Abstract in motif express, Order, Disorder in pattern express. Second, a point of sameness of motif object in traditional dress of three nations were that nature and letter abstractive of mam-made is a lot. but motif of Japan was used in daily life motif of mam-made which was not in Korea and China Third, commonly, motif expression of three nations were developed Naturalistic, Stylized. but in Naturalistic, Korea was simple, plane, China was three-dimensional, Japan was expressed super realism. Fourth, as formative aesthetic of Pattern, Korea is natural, plane, simple and symbolic, China is gorgeous, three-dimensional, immaculacy, filling and symbolic, Japan is delicate, complicated, decoration and symbolic.

As the very important artistic elements expressing a visual image, the color has been increasing the power of expression. But the relationship between the remarkable peculiarity of colors in accordance with other artistic elements inside the picture plane makes difficult to express an effective expression of color. In the adaptation of color as well as artistic style between & by W. Disney co. is very different each other in the manner of expression. By revealing the difference of the practical use of color and it's principle of those two works, I want to formulate a suitable use of color. In this paper, focus on how to active application of color in relationship between other artistic element and expressive peculiar of color. A right is not only the dominant component in color, but contrast also. A contrast is the most considerable element for modeling order. To emphasize expressive peculiar of color, an artist control artistic element properly and can make expressive energy of brightness & shape.

Works engraving enlightenment and ethnic identity by giving meaning and lesson to past events and great people against the past can be one of the good ideal art film contents. The animation reproduces the existing cultural archetypes, situation and history, when the 'Book of Kells' was produced, and the myths of the Kelts tribes. This thesis analyzes the history the kelts, traditional patterns and formative symbolism shown in , and studies the cultural preservation method unique to animation contents. In conclusion, the movie not only suggests a methodology that animation content is an effective way to preserve the culture and history of the native people, but also pursues the eternal, enlightening and teaching people for history.
