  • Puimonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis is very rare, especially when accompanied by active pulmonary. tuberculosis. A patient was hospitalized due to excessive dyspnea and she was diagnosed with active pulmonary tuberculosis by a sputum AFB smear. The HRCT taken after hospitalization showed multiple micronodules and tiny cysts. An open lung biopsy confirmed the coexistence of pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis.

  • 인쇄 및 관련산업은 5년전보다 사업체수는 늘었지만 종사자는 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 사업체수가 증가했다고는 하지만 소규모 단독사업체가 사업체수 증가를 견인한 결과다. 조직형태별로는 개인사업체가 여전히 90%를 웃돌았으며, 회사법인은 5년전보다 31.3% 증가했지만 전체 사업체의 9.2%에 불과했다. 여성의 사회참여가 두드러지면서 여성 대표자 종사자 모두 크게 늘었다.

Exploring the Model of Social Enterprise in Sport: Focused on Organization Form(Type) and Task (스포츠 분야 사회적기업의 모델 탐색: 조직형태 및 과제)

  • The purpose of this study is to diagnose various problems arising around social enterprises in the sport field from the perspective of the organization and derive necessary tasks and implications. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, the study was largely divided into three stages, and the results were derived. First, the main status and characteristics of social enterprises in the sport field were examined. The current status was analyzed focusing on aspects such as background and origin, legislation and policy, organizational goals, organizational structure and procedures, and organizational characteristics. Social enterprises in the sport sector were in their early stages, and the government's social enterprise policy goal tended to focus on increasing the number of social enterprises in a short period of time through financial input. In addition, it was found that most individual companies rely on government subsidy support due to insufficient profit generation capacity. In the second stage, we focused on the situational factors that affect the functional performance of social enterprises in the sport field. As a result of reviewing the value, ideology, technology, and history of the organization, which are situational factors, it was derived that when certified as a social enterprise in the sport field and supported by the central government or local governments, political control is strong to some extent and exposure to the market is not severe. In the last third step, tasks and implications were derived to form an appropriate organization for social enterprises in the sport field. After the social enterprise ecosystem in the sport sector has been established to some extent, it is necessary to gradually move from the current "government-type" organization to the "national enterprise" organization. This is true in light of the government's limited financial level, not in the short term, but in order for the organization of social enterprises in the sports sector to survive in the long term.

  • 본 논문은 간의 비침습성 점액성 낭성종양의 자동화된 진단을 위한 정량적인 형태학적 추출방법에 대하여 설명한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 형태학적 추출방법은 간의 비침습성 점액성 낭성종양 진단을 위한 병리적인 특징들에 기반을 둔 상피세포 형태학적 특징(원주형과 입방형)과 악성 직전에 나타나는 배상세포 출연을 판단하는 특징, 그리고 주변상피 조직에서 나타나는 기질 여부를 조사하기 위한 핵-비율의 측정방법을 소개한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest an improved model of the library administrative organization, based on analysis and investigation of present situations of libraries in 31 local governments of Gyeonggi province. With the result of this investigation, there are few local governments in Gyeonggi province with library-related organizations. Most of them had more organized position of extraordinary session than of affiliation with each local government. Also, library policy departments were incomplete, and local governments did not configure the library operating System(central library - base library - branch library) efficiently.

  • This study is to examine how POS(perceived organization support) would affect trust in her/his superior and organization, organization commitment and customer orientation. The effect of demographic variables differences on independent and dependent variables was examined. Data for this study was collected by questionnaire from a sample of 277 employees of 9 hospitals in Korea. The findings show that POS is significantly influence trust in her/his superior and organization, organization commitment, and customer orientation. Variables like gender and type of employment have a significant difference. However there is no difference in the type of occupation.

Comparison of Inorganic Elements and Epidermis Structures in Healthy and Rusty Ginseng (건전삼과 적변삼 표피 및 무기성분의 비교)

  • The ultrastructural characteristics of epidermis isolated from healthy and rusty ginseng roots(Panax ginseng) were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the distribution profiles of inorganic elements were also examined by energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX). The epidermis of rusty ginseng was thick and cell walls were also severely disrupted whereas the epidermal image of healthy ginseng showed relatively thin, clear and rectangular structure. A high amount of rod-shaped bacteria was found in rusty ginseng and cells near bacteria were degraded. The bacterial density in epidermis of rusty ginseng was ranged from 2.9$\times$10$^{6}$ to 3.5 $\times$ 10$^{7}$ CFU/g fresh weight, while that of healthy ones was from 4.7$\times$10$^2$ to 1.2$\times$10$^3$CFU/g. Artificial inoculation of bacteria isolated from rusty ginseng induced similar symptom like rusty ginseng. The mineral contents inculding Al, Si and Fe were Higher in the epidermis of rusty ginseng, but K content was lower compared to healthy ones.

  • The epithelium of the rectum in the mosquito larvae, Culex pipiens pallens: Culicidae, was observed with electron microscope. The rectum of posterior hindgut was composed of epithelial tissue which were covered with cuticular intima on the luminal side, connective tissue and muscular tissue. The rectal epithelial cells were squamous absorptive cells, and apical plasma membranes were highly folded to form apical infoldings with mitochondria inserted them. The lateral plasma membranes were irregularly infolded and well developed mitochondria were found closely associated with infoldings . And intercellular spaces (or channels) were formed between the epithelial cells, whereas speptate junction was found near the apical zone between them. Also basal plasma membrane were infolded which made basal infoldings ('basal labyrinth'), and were covered with thin basal lamina. Rcetal epithelium was surrounded by the connective tissue which was contained axon and tracheole cells. Connective tissue was covered with the bundles of circular and longitudinal muscles.

Reduction of Mitochondrial Electron Transferase in Rat Bile duct Fibroblast by Clonorchis sinensis Infection (간흡충(Clonorchis sinensis)감염에 의한 흰쥐 담관 섬유모세포 미토콘드리아 전자전달효소의 감소)

  • Fibroblasts are the most common cells in connective tissue and are responsible for the synthesis of extracellular matrix components. The fibrosis associated with chronic inflammation and injury may contribute to cholangiocarcinoma pathogenesis, particularly through an increase in extracellular matrix components, which participate in the regulation of bile duct differentiation during development. Mitochondria produce ATP through oxidative metabolism to provide energy to the cell under physiological conditions. Also, mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress have been implicated in cellular senescence and aging. Alternations in mitochondrial structure and function are early events of programmed cell death or apoptosis and mitochondria appear to be a central regulator of apoptosis in most somatic cell. Clonorchis sinensis, one of the most important parasite of the human bile duct in East Asia, arouses epithelial hyperplasia and ductal fibrosis. Isolated fibroblast from the bile ducts of rats infected by C. sinensis showed increase of cytoplasmic process. In addition, decrease of cellular proliferation was observed in fibroblasts which was isolated from normal rat bile duct and then cultured in media containing C. sinensis excretory-secretory product. However, the effects of C. sinensis infection on the mitochondrial enzyme distribution is not clearly reported yet. Therefore, we investigated the structural change of C. sinensis infected bile duct and mitochondrial enzyme distribution of the cultured fibroblast isolated from the C. sinensis infected rat bile duct. As a result, C. sinensis infected SD rat bile ducts showed the features of chronic clonorchiasis, such as ductal connective and epithelial tissue dilatation, or ductal fibrosis. In addition, fibroblast in ductal connective tissue was damaged by physical effect of fibrotic tissue and chemical stimulation. Immunohistochemically detected mitochondrial electron transferase (ATPase, COXII, Porin) was decreased in C. sinensis infected rat bile duct and cultured fibroblast from infected rat bile duct. It can be hypothesized that the reason why number of electron transferase decrease in fibroblast isolated from the rat bile duct infected with C. sinensis is because dysfunction of electron transport system is occurred mitochondrial dysfunction, increase of ROS (reactive oxygen species) and apoptosis after chemical damage on the cell caused by C. sinensis infection. Overall, C. sinensis infection induces fibrotic change of ductal connective tissue, mutation of cellular metabolism in fibroblast and mitochondrial dysfunction. Consequently, ductal fibrosis inhibits fibroblast proliferation and decreases mitochondrial electron transferase on fibroblast cytoplasm. It was assumed that the structure of bile duct could not normalized and ductal fibrosis was maintained for a long period of time according to fibroblast metamorphosis and death induced by mitochondrial dysfunction.

Reconstruction of Large Heel Defects Using Gracilis Muscle Free Flaps (유리 대퇴박근판을 이용한 발꿈치의 재건)

  • 발꿈치는 신체의 다른부위에 비하여 엄청난 하중을 지탱하고 있으며, 주행시에는 막대한 전단력을 받으므로 그 재건에 있어서 어려운 점이 있다. 그 동안 발꿈치의 연부조직 결손을 재건하기 위한 많은 방법들이 개발되어 왔지만, 비교적 큰 발꿈치의 연부조직 결손을 재건하는 것은 아직도 쉬운 일이 아니다. 이처럼 큰 결손의 재건에는 주로 유리 피판술을 이용한 재건술을 사용하는데, 그 중에서도 광배근, 복직근, 대퇴박근 등의 근육을 이용하는 방법이 최근에 많이 이용되고 있다. 이와 같은 유리 근 피판에 피부이식을 이용하는 발꿈치 재건술은 표재성 감각기능을 재건하지 못하는 것이 단점으로 지적되고 있으나, 보행 또는 주행시 발꿈치에 가해지는 압력과 전단력을 효과적으로 견디어 낼 뿐아니라, 외관상으로도 정상에 가까운 발꿈치를 재건할 수가 있어서 좋은 방법으로 인정되고 있다. 특히, 대퇴박근은 피판을 비교적 쉽게 채취할 수 있고, 공여부에 기능적인 장애나 심한 변형을 남기지 않아서 좋은 방법이라 생각된다. 다만 크기가 비교적 작아서, 발등이나 족관절 상부에까지 이르는 광범위한 연부조직 결손에서는 사용할 수 없는 점이 아쉽다. 저자는 비교적 가늘고 긴, 대퇴박근의 형태적 특징을 최대한 이용하여, 결손부의 다양한 형태 및 크기에 따라 대퇴박근을 말발굽형, 나선형, S-자형 등으로 적절히 형상화하여 발꿈치 결손을 효과적으로 재건하는 방법을 고안하였다. 또한, 공여부에 긴 선상 반흔이 남는 것을 피하기 위하여 두 개의 작은 절개를 통해서 대퇴박근을 채취하였다. 이 방법을 이용하여 영남대학교 의과대학 성형외과학 교실에서는 1993년 이후부터 7명의 비교적 큰 발꿈치의 연부조직 결손 환자를 대상으로 유리 대퇴박근 피판술을 이용한 재건술로 성공적인 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.
