Effects of Shared Leadership, Psychological Empowerment and Organizational Justice on Organizational Commitment (공유리더십이 심리적 임파워먼트와 조직공정성 및 몰입에 미치는 영향요인)

  • The environment of modern corporate management is undergoing many changes due to the horizontal organizational structure and the spread of team system. The importance of collective leadership that all members can pursue together beyond the existing personal leadership is increasing day by day. This study was conducted to analyze the effects of shared leadership on psychological empowerment, organizational justice and organizational commitment using PLS, a structural equation tool. The analysis highlighted the following. First, shared leadership exerted positive effects on psychological empowerment and organizational justice. Second, psychological empowerment exerted positive effects on organizational justice and organizational commitment and lastly, organizational justice exerted positive effects on organizational commitment. The causality between shared leadership, psychological empowerment, organizational justice and organizational commitment. This study demonstrated the important relationship between shared leadership and psychological empowerment and organizational justice, which will serve as a guideline for further organizational commitment.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 민간경비원의 조직문화와 조직신뢰 및 조직성과의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 이 연구는 2010년 6월 서울소재 4개소 민간경비회사의 민간경비원을 모집단으로 설정한 후 판단표집법을 이용하여 최종분석에 이용된 사례 수는 총 161명이다. 설문지의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$값이 .592이상으로 나타났다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민간경비원의 조직문화는 조직신뢰에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 개발적, 합리적, 합의적, 위계적 문화가 활성화 되면 인지 감정적, 행동적 신뢰를 증가시킨다. 둘째, 민간경비원들의 조직문화는 조직성과에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 합리적, 합의적 문화가 활성화 되면, 직무만족은 높다. 반면, 개발적, 합의적, 위계적 문화가 활성화 되면, 조직몰입은 높다. 셋째, 민간경비원의 조직신뢰는 조직성과에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 인지 감정적, 행동적 신뢰가 높게 작용하면, 직무만족, 조직몰입은 증대된다.

  • This study investigated a special class or Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) system. While it has been predicted that the use of EDI will have a significant impact on the competitive advantage of organization. very little is known about the successful construction of such system. A few studies done in this area have relied on anecdotal data on data based on a small number of case studies. The major objectives of the research are to identify the factors that facilitate the adoption and successful construction of an EDI system, and to evaluate the impact of the EDI system on competitive advantage of the organization. Based on the EDI literature. organizational performance is modeled to be affected by three independent variables: EDI system. communication. trust. The level of EDI system was used as control variable. The data used to test the model were collected in a mail survey from department store in Korea. The results indicate that organizational performance is affected by EDI system, communication. The paper concludes with a discussion of future directions for research in the area of test EDI models.

  • 지식기반경제사회에서 지식을 습득하고 행동할 수 있는 능력을 갖춘 인적자원이야 말로 기업의 핵심경쟁력 이라는 것은 자명한 것이다. 디지털시대로 특징지어지는 21세기에는 지식이야말로 기업의 경쟁우위에 중요한 영향을 미칠 것이다. 기업은 디지털시대에 있어서 경쟁우위를 확보하기 위하여 학습조직의 활성화는 기업의 경쟁에 있어서 중요한 핵심요소가 된다. 그러나 대부분 기업들이 학습활동을 하면서도 학습조직의 활성화가 기업에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 분석은 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 학습조직의 활성화가 기업조직의 유효성에 미치는 영향에 관한 분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과 기업학습조직 활성화에 지속적 학습, 시스템적 사고, 조직몰입 등이 기업조직의 유효성에 유의하게 판단되었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 서비스산업종사원들의 조직공정성이 이직의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 또한 조직공정성과 이직의도에서 조직신뢰의 매개역할을 알아보고자 한다. 서비스산업 종사원들의 직무 및 역할과 이직의도와 관련한 연구들을 살펴보면 서비스산업 종사원들은 보다 나은 업무결과를 위하여, 업무 스트레스를 경험하게 되고 이 업무 스트레스는 이직의도를 높게 하는 변수로 작용하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 서비스산업 종사원들의 조직공정성이 이직의도에 어떤 영향관계에 있는지를 실증적으로 분석해보고 그 영향관계에서 조직신뢰는 어떤 매개역할을 하는지를 알아보고자 한다.

  • Recent research on organizational innovation, such as. new managerial processes, practices, suggests it can be an important source of firm's competitive advantage. The challenge is not only offering new products and services, but also changing the nature of management within organizations. In this study, we focus on management innovation at the organization level and investigate the role of transformational leadership behavior as a key antecedent. Transformational leadership may complement an organization''s increasing rigidity by maintaining a sense of meaningfulness in members of the organization, which may be more flourishing to organizational innovation. Due to its prominent role within organizations, CEO has the ability to greatly influence management innovation. In particular, we focus on leadership behavior and examine transformational leadership of CEO. Additionally, as contextual variables like organizational structure(complexity, formalization, centralization) may influence the impact of transformational leadership, we investigate its moderating role. Findings show that transformational leadership behaviors positively contribute to organizational innovation. In addition, our study indicate that less complex, less formal and less central, organizations have benefit more from transactional leadership in strengthening organizational innovation.

Relationship between Organizational Culture, Organizational Trust and Organizational Performance of Special Guard Organization (특수경비조직의 조직문화와 조직신뢰 및 조직성과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational culture, organizational trust and organizational performance of special guard organization. This study had selected special guards from 4 different private guard companies which are in Seoul area on March 2011. Using Judgement Sampling, 161 samples were drawn for the use of final analysis. Questionnaire used in this study was consisted of the total 42 question, and executed frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis by SPSSWIN 18.0. The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ value which represents the reliability of the survey came out to be over .592. The results are following: First, the organizational culture of special guard organization affects organizational trust. That is, when a developmental, reasonable, consensual and hierarchical culture is activated, cognitive emotional and behavioral trust is increased. Second, organizational culture of special guard organization affects organizational performance. That is, when a reasonable and consensual culture is activated, job-satisfaction becomes higher. On the other hand, when a developmental, reasonable and hierarchical culture is activated, organizational flow becomes higher. Third, organizational trust of special guard organization affects organizational performance. That is, when a cognitive emotional and behavioral trust works highly, job-satisfaction and organizational flow is increased. Fourth, Special security organization's organizational culture affects as a result in organization result. As well as organizational culture exerts direct influence on organization outcome, I exert effect that is indirect in organization outcome through action trust which is low rank factor of organization trust.

A Study on the Effects of Organizational Citizenship Behaviour on Employee Engagement and the Intention to quit (조직시민행동이 종업원 인게이지먼트 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study explores the effect that unresearched organizational conduct has on employee engagement (job immersion) as a cause variable and the results from it. Major results identified in an empirical analysis are as follows. First, the main causes of organizational citizenship behavior (such as altruism, conscientious behavior, moral behavior, participatory behavior, and fair play) are shown to not affect job immersion. In other words, conscientious, participatory, and fair behavior affects job immersion, with participatory behavior having the greatest impact. Second, employees' concentration in an organization was only affected by participatory behavior and fair play behavior from among the factors of organizational citizenship behavior, only more so. That is, it has been shown that some of the causes of organizational citizenship behavior, including participatory behavior and fair play behavior, affect employee inter-behavior, and some of them are more influential than others. Third, the only factor that influences the intention to switch jobs among the organizational citizenship behavior is participatory behavior. In other words, altruism, conscientiousness, politeness, and fair play behavior do not affect the way people move from job to job. Participation in organizational citizenship behavior and fair play may affect employee inter-behavior, and the more influential participatory behavior may also affect the intention to relocate.

The Effects of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Culture and Innovation in the Fire Fighting Organization (소방조직의 변혁적 리더십이 조직문화와 혁신에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is intended to figure out the effects of supervisors' transformational leadership on organizational culture and innovation in the fire fighting organization. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to fire officers from the National Emergency Management Agency and Seoul Metropolitan Fire & Disaster Headquarters. The results are as follows. First, the effect of supervisors' transformational leadership on organizational culture showed that supervisors' transformational leadership had an effect on group culture, norm culture and rational culture by sub-factors of organizational culture in the fire fighting organization. Second, the effect of organizational culture on organizational innovation showed that group culture and rational culture had an effect on organizational innovation. Third, the effect of supervisors' transformational leadership on organizational innovation showed that supervisors' transformational leadership had an effect on organizational innovation. As for findings stated above, supervisors' transformational leadership had positive effects on organizational culture and innovation in the fire fighting organization. Consequently, supervisors' energetic and change-seeking leader-ship for junior staffs with existing organization-and new generation-oriented new thinking system can contribute to rational culture and development-oriented innovation based on norms in the group.
