  • For the removal of initial water content in cuttlefish, the effects of fixed-bed drying condition on the drying rate were investigated, with following results. 1. The drying rate of cuttlefish dried at fixed-bed condition was also faster than that at natural convection type or hot air dryer.2. By controlling air temperature and its direction to cut-and-peeled sample the drying time can be reduced to 2 hrs. 3. Shirai's equation and Arrhenius' law were applicable to fixed-bed dried cuttlefish. Drying rate constant (k) by Shirai's equation, and Arrhenius' plot were as shown in Table 3, 4 and Fig.3, respectively.

  • This paper proposed a feed-forward adaptive position controller that is robust for variable Inertia. The control system consists of PI Position controller, feed-forward and model reference adaptive control. A parameter g(t) of the feed-forward adaptive position controller is adapted by using both the reference model speed and position error. So it improves the transient response and reduces the settling time. And normalization function Is used to make linear adaptation time. The validity of the feed-forward adaptive controller is confirmed by simulation results.

  • This study presents comparison results for pedestrian accident reconstruction models representing the relationship between collision speed and horizontal distance that a body travels while falling and sliding. A set of 49 reliable pedestrian accident cases are applied to compare the existing reconstruction models. In addition, the authors investigate the effects of a set of parameters associated with the effects of the frontal shape of a vehicle on the horizontal distance a pedestrian travels while falling and sliding. It has been revealed that the length of the bumper is the most dominant factor to affect the horizontal distance of pedestrian travel after collision. Further analyses utilizing more accident data need to conducted to develop a more accurate and reliable reconstruction model.

  • Three component $Ag_2S-PbS-PbWO_4$ electrodes have been prepared and evaluated for sensitivity to tungstate. The 51.71 : 16.64 : 31.65(w/w%) composition is superior in terms of potentiometric response, stability, rapidity of response and reproducibility. Testing was done over the concentration range $10^{-1}~10^{-4}M WO_4^{2-}$ in $0.1F-NH_4Ac-NH_4OH$ buffer at pH 8.00 with constant ionic strength. The quality of response is similar to that of corresponding phosphate-sensing electrode. Many common ions interfere.

  • The physical attributes of a computer, such as processor speed, size and access time of memory, and I/O bandwidth, are fixed when the computer is delivered to the user. Under these conditions, the performance of a multi-process system where multiple processes share various resources can be enhanced by monitoring and controlling the relationship between the user processes and the system resources. This paper applies object oriented concept to the performance management and suggests a standard for the management. Resource managers and user processes are defined as managed object and a performance manager is defined as a managing object. A protocol between the user processes and performance manager is designed and attributes and methods of the objects are also defined. Through the standardization, the user processes and the performance manager can be developed independently and the system's performance can also be collectively managed.

패턴 인식기법을 이용한 유출모형의 매개변수 최적화

  • 일반적으로 강우-유출모형은 lumped model과 distributed model로 크게 구분될 수 있으며, 우리나라에서는 이중 비교적 부족한 자료를 이용하여도 개략적 모의가 가능한 전자를 널리 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 모형들의 매개변수를 보정하는 방법에 관해 연구하였다. 일반적으로 모형의 보정 방법에는 크게 시행오차에 의한 수동보정(manual calibration) 방법과 최적화 기법에 의한 자동보정(automatic calibration) 방법으로 나눌 수 있다. 수동보정 방법은 모형 수행결과를 수문곡선의 시각적 비교에 의해 관측치와 비교하여 모형 운영자의 주관적인 판단하에 조정하는 기법이며, 자동보정 방법은 최적화 기법을 이용8하여 특정한 산정기준(estimation criteria)을 최대 또는 최소화시켜 모형의 매개변수를 결정하는 방법이다. 이러한 최적화기법은 일반적으로 직접탐색법과 경사법으로 구분할 수 있다. 경사법은 수렴속도가 빠르지만 편미분에 의해 방향을 찾아가는 방법으로 편도함수가 필요하므로 수문모형에는 적용하기가 힘들므로 적합하지 않다. 그러나, 보다 많은 컴퓨터 수행시간을 필요로 하는 직접탐색법의 경우 수렴속도는 느리지만, 편도함수를 필요치 않으므로 수문모형의 최적화 기법으로 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 직접탐색법에는 simplex-search 법, 패턴인식(pattern-search)법, rotating-direction 법, brent 법 등이 있으며, 본 연구에서는 직접탐색법의 일종인 패턴인식(pattern -search)법을 이용하여 매개변수 최적화 과정을 모의하였다. 이러한 매개변수 보정모형을 구성한 후 이를 가장 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 유출모형인 각종 단위도법들을 결합하는 모형을 구성하였다. 또한 구성된 모형을 시범유역에 적용하여 나온 결과를 HEC-1에서 적용되고 있는 단일변량 증감법과 같은 최적화 기법을 이용한 결과와 비교·분석을 실시하였다. 본 모형을 활용하여 강우-유출 모형의 매개변수를 지속적으로 산정하고 일반화할 경우 임의의 유역의 수문기상학적 특성에 부합한 매개변수를 정량화 시킬 수 있었다.

Effect of Ambient Temperature and Humidity on Corrosion Rate of Steel Bars in Concrete (환경 온·습도가 콘크리트 내 철근의 부식 속도에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • Corrosion of reinforced steel inside concrete is an important cause of performance degradation of reinforced concrete structures and has a profound influence on the durability of structures. In this study, three groups of different reinforced concrete structures exposed to the natural environment were subjected to chloride ion accelerated corrosion tests for up to 180 days. The corrosion velocity and ambient temperature of the samples were measured and recorded every day. Based on Faraday's law, the corrosion speed of steel bars could be measured, and the ambient temperature and humidity around the structure in corresponding time were compared. Through the measurement of up to 180 days, the influence of external ambient temperature and humidity on the corrosion speed of steel bars inside the concrete structure was found out. The results show that there is a good direct proportional relationship between temperature and corrosion speed. When the ambient temperature increases by 15℃, the corrosion rate increases by about one time.

  • 본 논문에서는 TFHE(Fast Homomorphic Encryption over the Torus) 파라미터의 중요성과 그파라미터가 동형암호 연산의 성능에 미치는 영향을 다룬다. 본 연구는 TFHE의 핵심 구성 요소인 TLWE, TRLWE, TRGSW 샘플의 파라미터 설정이 어떻게 보안 수준, 정확도, 처리 속도에 영향을 미치는지 분석한다. 이를 통해, 정확도와 처리 속도 같은 성능과 보안 수준 사이의 균형을 이루기 위한 파라미터 조정의 중요성을 강조하고, TFHE 파라미터를 사용하는 방법에 대한 구체적인 가이드라인을 제공한다. 본 논문은 동형암호 기술의 효율성을 극대화하고, 보다 안전하고 효율적인 데이터 처리 방법을 개발하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

A study of on site Pilot plant test of drying sewage sludge using Chain crusher flash dryer (타격기류 건조장치에 의한 하수슬러지의 건조 실증실험에 관한 연구)

  • Effective drying method of sewage sludge is researched in this study. To dry the sludge, chain crusher flash dryer was adopted to remove moisture content in the cell which is mostly responsible for the sludge moisture content. And Pilot plant experiment was conducted in real life sewage treatment plant to study effect and characteristics of operating conditions. Operating variables include sludge feeding rate, rotational speed of chain, process temperature and feed moisture content. As rotational speed of chain increased, product yield of sludge increased, and the performance of the testing system increased. And, as process temperature increased, the sludge drying efficiency increased. It is found that optimum feed moisture content is at 60% which shows the maximum sludge product yield and about 10 moisture content(%) of sludge product. Sludge feed rate showed optimal value, and when the sludge feed rate is exceeded, sludge product yield did not increased but the amount of residue increased. Pilot plant experiment results are as follow. The optimal condition for the rotational speed of chain 1600rpm(max. speed), final sludge discharge temperature $80^{\circ}C$, feed moisture content 60%, and feed rate 60kg/h. When the plant was operated at the optimal conditions, the final product showed fairly good results such as sludge product yield 85.5%, moisture content 11.0% and sludge drying efficiency 81.7%.

Vehicle Behavior Characteristics According to the Change of Vehicle Speed and Road Vertical Grades (차량속도와 도로의 종단경사 변화에 따른 차량거동 특성)

  • When a vehicle is running on the road, the surface conditions and environment of road by reason of insufficient road design standards is so greatly that have an effect on drivers. In particular, the road design of the past is conducted empirical and ideal judgment, but recently, the new technical development is attempted that three and four dimensional parameters is reconsidering and adjusting at the same time. In this study, we analyzed the vehicle behavior characteristics according to the change of driving speed and vertical grades on braking at the peak point of the frozen road by using a PC-crash program for traffic accident reconstruction. As a result, we were conformed the fact that the friction coefficient of road surface and the vehicle speed is affected by vehicle behavior characteristics for intersection vertical grades and were showed the feasibility of verification through a simulation in order to solve the problem of road design in advance.
