In this paper, it was performed to protect the remanufacturing industry of domestic automobile part and grasp the latest tendency of remanufacturing industry of domestic automobile part for development of remanufacturing technology and economical support of government. Research on the present statue of the remanufacturing industry was indicated that the number of remanufacture enterprises about automobile part, the annual, the number of employee in remanufacture and the type of remanufacturing. The general problems were presented which blocked the activities of domestic automobile part. It was also presented that problem of remanufacturing technology side and quality assurance of remanufactured automobile part and found out solution.

Currently government certified test method for an automobile remanufactured products is insufficient. Thus many automotive parts in the remanufacturing market are lacking proper evaluation criteria and production of defective products are causing customer dissatisfaction. In this paper a power steering oil pump, which requires stringent manufacturing standards, is studied by the failure mode and effect analysis approach. The research suggested that the test criteria such as discharge flow characteristic test, tightness test, pulley run-out test, pressure switch operation test, low temperature test and rotation pressure durability test should be performed to evaluate the reliability of remanufactured power steering oil pumps. As a result of tests, the performance of remanufactured power steering oil pump satisfied the evaluation criteria of pressure switch operation test and low temperature test. However, the remanufactured power steering oil pump failed to satisfy the evaluation criteria on discharge performance test, tightness test and pulley run-out test. These performance evaluation tests proved the necessity of standard process for the remanufactured power steering oil pump.

재제조(Re-manufacturing)는 제품의 수명이 다하여 폐기단계에 있는 사용 후 제품이나 부품을 회수하여 재처리 후 신제품 조립공정과 같은 재조립 과정을 거쳐 본래 가지고 있던 제품의 기능 및 성능을 회복하도록 하는 제조방법의 하나이다. 재재조 산업은 환경보호 측면 뿐만 아니라 경제적 측면 또한 중요하다. 산업전반의 성패는 제품에 대한 신뢰 및 가격 경쟁력에 달려있다. 제품 제조 공정에서 인건비를 줄이고 제품의 신뢰도를 향상시키기 위해 영상처리 시스템을 이용한다. 본 연구에서는 폐드럼을 재생하기 위해 전처리 단계인 재활용 여부 판단 단계 및 드럼을 재생한 후 출고직전 영상처리를 이용하여 사람의 육안으로 식별이 어려운 이물질 및 불량을 검출한다.

아직도 자율안전확인제도를 시행하지 않고 있는 선진국들이 기술력이 부족해서 강제인증을 유지하고 있다고는 생각하지 않는다. 또한 현재 협상 중인 자유무역협정(FTA)의 상대국 요구와 같이 국내의 각종 규제에 대한 개선요구가 상당히 부담스러운 것도 사실이다. 하지만 몸집만 커진 우리경제가 풀어야 할 많은 과제를 해결하기 위해서는 어떠한 정책이 국익과 국가경제발전에 크게 기여하는지에 대한 냉철한 판단이 요구된다. 시장경제의 논리도 합법적이고 미래지향적인 방향으로 나아가야 하며 아울러 하루빨리 중고품과 재제조에 대한 확실한 정의와 기준을 정하고 재활용에 관한 정책을 개발하는 것이 국내산업의 발전에 기여하고 지구의 환경보호를 위한 길이라고 생각한다.

Remanufacturing is an industrial manufacturing process. The merits of remanufacturing are to reuse old products to perform like a new product and to save energy, natural resources, landfill space and to reduce air pollution by less re-smelting. This paper proposes a systemic approach for activating the domestic remanufacturing industry. The approach is based on inside and outside regulations to apply remanufacturing companies. And, we analyzed the state and problems of remanufacturing industry for automobile parts.
