Optimal Ambient Illumination Study for Soft-Copy Ultrasound Images (소프트 카피 초음파 이미지를 보기 위한 최적의 주변광 조도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest the optimum ambient illumination level for proper visualization in image inspection and reading on CRT and LCD monitors used for ultrasound and reading. The evaluators were divided into 4 groups: 20 (Ultra-sonographer: 20 groups (4 groups: ultra-sonographer, 1-5 years, 5 ultra-sonographers, 6 to 10 years, 5 ultra-sonographers, 11 to 15 years, The subjects were 32 questions. The evaluation method was image evaluation of ultrasonic soft copy images for 30 seconds per 10, 25, 100Lux ambient illumination. The evaluation results were evaluated as 6 points (Normal = Definitely no lesion), 2 points = possibly not a lesion, 3 points = probably not a lesion, 4 points = possibly a lesion, 5 points = probably a lesion, 6 points = Definitely a lesion). In this study, the results of ROC analysis according to ambient light illumination reading softcopy images used for lesion detection of all ultrasound images showed the highest sensitivity, specificity, and AUC results at 10Lux. It was found that optimal use of 10Lux for ambient light illumination would provide optimal detection of lesions in ultrasound soft copy images. Based on the future research data, it will be presented as basic data for designing ambient light brightness of ultrasound imaging laboratory and reading room.

  • ITS를 구성하는 서비스나 기능이 대부분 동적인 특성을 지니고 있어, 앞으로는 이를 효율적으로 뒷받침할 수 있는 공간데이터(Spatial Data)가 필요하다. 특히, 대부분의 ITS서비스와 기능이 정보의 신속한 전달을 위해서 유무선통신을 사용할 것이다. 또한, 최정 사용자서비스와 응용분야가 공간데이터라는 기본적인 정보를 공유하므로써 위치에 대한 정적·동적교통정보를 제공받게 된다. 정보사용자가 사용하는 공간데이터가 상이하다면, 정보의 공유가 이루어지지 않거나 정확하게 제공되지 않는 것은 자명한 사실이다. 이러한 이유는 정보사용자가 자신들의 정보수집, 정보전달, 정보분석 등의 목적에 적합한 공간데이터를 제작하여 유지하기 때문이다. 결과적으로 정보의 공유를 위해서는 상이한 공간데이터들 간에 동일한 교통정보를 공유하도록 하는 조작이나 방법이 필요하다. 서로 다른 원본으로 구성된 데이터를 통합하고 이를 ITS서비스와 기능을 위한 각 시스템에 적용하기 위해서는 서로 다른 수준을 가지고 있는 공간데이터(수치지도 데이터)의 해상도, 위치정확도, 속성정확도, 정밀도, 범위 등과 같은 문제들이 최종 응용시스템에 적용되어져야 하고, 이를 통해 공간적인 위치와 수치지도를 구성하는 각종 엔터티가 참조되어야 할 것이다. 이뿐 아니라, 향후 데이터 공유의 방법에 있어서도, 각종 무선통신의 발달과 인터넷과 같은 정보전달매체의 대중화가 이루어짐에 따라, 정보의 공유가 동시적으로 이루어질 것이다. 본 연구에서는 공공기관주도로 제작된 전국범위의 수치지도를 하여, ITS용 네트워크데이터구성을 위한 기능분석과 사양을 제시를 함으로써, 이에 대한 프로파일 개발한다. 정보공유를 위한 위치참조모델(LRM)과 프로파일을 ITS데이터에 적용함으로써, 위치참조모델의 기능과 적용성을 평가한다.키기 위한 향후의 연구과제를 제시한다.Si결정의 크기를 비교하였을 때 45$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 분말을 섞어 압출하였을 때 가장 작은 초정 Si입자 크기를 얻음 을 볼 수 있었다. 주의 Fairfax County에 소재한 주간 고속도로 66번(I-66)과 인접 교통망의 교통자료를 사용하여 각종 돌발교통 혼잡 상황을 전제로 한 Traffic Simulation과 정보제공시나\리오를 INTEGRATION Model을 이용해 실행하였다. 그 결과 적응형 알고리즘이 개개인의 최단시간 경로를 제공하는 사용자 평형 경로안내전략에 비해 교통혼잡도와 정체시간의 체류정도에 따라 3%에서 10%까지 전체통행시간을 절약할 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다.출발참, 구성대외개방선면축심, 실현국제항선적함접화국내항반적전항, 형성다축심복사식항선망; 가강기장건설, 개피포동제이국제기장건설, 괄응포동개발경제발전적수요. 부화개시일은 각 5월 26일과 5월 22일이었다. 11. 6월 중순에 애벌레를 대상으로 처리한 Phenthoate EC가 96.38%의 방제가로 약효가 가장 우수하였고 3월중순 및 4월중순 월동후 암컷을 대상으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다.. Application and Effects of VR-Based Biology Class Reflecting Characteristics of Virtual Reality (가상현실 특성을 반영한 VR 프로그램 기반 수업 적용 및 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of a VR(virtual reality)-based biology class on both the cognitive and affective domains by developing and applying a VR-based biology program for 6th-grade elementary school students. For this research, we developed a VR teaching material about 'digestion' reflecting virtual reality characteristics and one hundred five students in an elementary school in an urban area participated in this study and took three VR-based lessons. To examine the cognitive effects of a VR-based biology class, the study subjects were divided into two groups. The experimental group was composed of 50 individuals who participated in VR-based biology lessons, while 55 students of a control group learned through general lessons. We collected data using drawing tasks for measuring students' modeling performance level from these groups and analyzed the cognitive effect of VR-based instruction. We also recorded 21 interviews of students after the intervention, which were transcribed to verify the students' perception of cognitive and affective effects. The key results are as follows: First, we demonstrated the possibility of applying a VR program reflecting VR characteristics (manipulation, multi-sensory, and interaction). Second, we found out that a VR-based biology class significantly enhances higher levels of thinking (spatial, abstract, and reflective thinking). Third, we examined students' perceptions on this program and came to the conclusion that VR characteristics positively affected cognitive and affective domains. This study may be able to contribute to offering guidelines on how to apply VR-programs to future science education effectively.

Design and Analysis of Data File Protection based on the Stream Cipher (데이터파일의 보호를 위한 스트림 암호방식 설계와 해석)

  • Recently, as the personal computers are supplied rapidly, they formed the nucleus of the computer system. But, because of the easiness that anyone uses them to go near easily, it is the fact that the security of personal computer is weakness. So, in the paper, 1 propose the technical method that minimizes the loss and leakage of important data. This paper implemented a crypto system for security of data file on personal computer and assistance storage medium. The way of encryption/decryption is applied by complexity method which mixed Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol, a typical RC4(Rivest Cipher version 4) algorithm of stream cipher and a typical MD5(Message Digest version 5) of Hash Function. For valuation implemented crypto system, three criteria is presented, which are crypto complexity, processing time and pattern matching. And according to analysis the three criteria the crypto system is verified the security, efficiency and usefulness. The crypto system is programmed with Visual C++ language of Microsoft. And so, as this is software system, we shall have a technical security system at a minimum cost for all personal computer.

The Support System for Groundwater Development Design using GIS (GIS를 이용한 지하수개발 설계지원 시스템)

  • This study develops a GIS-based system which examines the adequacy of the Groundwater development project before the actual designing of the project. A system environment is constructed in order to efficiently and scientifically manage and analyze data related to Groundwater through a Server/Client environment. For this programs such as GIS S/W ArcVies3.2, RDBMS ORACLE, ArcSDE (Spatial Database Engine) are used. WHPA and AQTESOLV are employed as a underground water simulation program and Scripts, a language for ArcView, is used to develop graphic user interface (GUI). Using the system developed here, we can transfer simulation results obtained by WHPA regarding Groundwater levels in new development projects into GIS. We can also judge whether a Groundwater development project should be permitted through examining overlaps of th effects of the development and comparing with o pollutants. At the same time, the system has a feature of supporting Groundwater development and based designing through judging the proper amount of Groundwater in a new project. It is also possible to easily and quickly prepare charts and reports using the outputs of the system. Since a two-tiered system which shares DB using inter-and intranets is developed, all the departments in the ministry of agriculture and forest and the agriculture base corporation can share accurate, reliable and latest information related to Groundwater.

Development of Flood Runoff Characteristics Nomograph for Small Catchment Using R-Programming (R-프로그래밍을 이용한 소유역 홍수유출특성 노모그래프 개발)

  • 본 연구는 집중호우에 의한 홍수예측 및 소유역의 유출거동에 대한 수문학적 민감성(susceptibility) 규명을 목적으로 강우강도, 지속기간 및 토양포화도 변화에 따른 홍수유출특성을 분석하여 유역의 유출거동 민감성을 표출할 수 있는 노모그래프를 개발하였다. 개별 홍수사상에 대한 유출거동 특성 분석을 위하여 한국건설기술연구원의 대표 시험유역인 설마천 유역의 과거 17년간(1996 ~ 2012)의 10분 간격의 강우량 및 유출량 자료를 수집하여 홍수유출해석을 수행하였다. 설마천 시험유역의 일누가강우량 100mm 이상, 50개 홍수사상에 대한 홍수유출해석은 유역 물순환 해석모형인 CAT(Catchment hydrological cycle Assessment Tool)을 이용하였으며 모의결과를 바탕으로 홍수사상별 지체시간, 강우강도, 지속기간 및 토양포화도 변화에 따른 홍수유출특성을 상세히 분석하였다. 이 중에서도 지체시간은 유역반응을 나타내는 시간변수로서 수문모델링 및 홍수량예측에 매우 중요한 요소이다. 특히, 강우량에 대한 홍수량의 반응이 빠른 소유역의 경우에 홍수량예측에 큰 영향을 미친다. 따라서 강우강도, 지속기간, 토양포화도의 변화량에 대한 지체시간의 거동을 R 프로그래밍 언어 및 3D Surfer를 이용하여 분석한 후 최종적으로 소유역의 홍수유출 특성을 나타내는 3차원 홍수 유출특성 노모그래프를 개발하였다. 분석에 사용된 R 프로그래밍 언어는 통계 계산과 그래픽을 위한 프로그래밍 언어이자 소프트웨어 환경으로 데이터의 조작 및 수치연산, 시각화를 수행할 수 있는 기능을 여러 패키지를 통해 구현할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 R을 이용하여 10분 단위의 강우 및 유출량 자료를 1시간 및 1일 자료로 구축하고 17년간의 과거 홍수사상을 분리하여 추출하는 R 홍수유출해석 시스템을 개발하였으며 추출된 홍수사상을 관측 유출량 및 관측 토양수분을 포함하여 시각화함으로써 강우 및 토양수분 변화에 따른 소유역의 유출거동 민감성을 확인할 수 있었다. 분석 결과, 지체시간은 강우지속기간 및 토양포화도에 민감한 거동특성을 나타냈으며 토양포화도는 첨두홍수량의 변화에 민감한 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 개발된 3차원 홍수유출특성 노모그래프는 유역의 규모 및 지형물리학적 특성에 따라 다양하게 나타날 것으로 판단되며 여러 계측유역에 적용함으로써 유역별 홍수유출 반응특성을 정량화할 필요가 있다. 즉, 강우강도, 지속기간, 지체시간, 포화도 등의 변화에 따른 유역의 홍수유출 반응특성을 규명함으로써 미계측 유역의 홍수량예측 실무에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Collaborative Maintenance Simulation System Using Virtual Mockup (가상목업을 활용한 협업 정비 시뮬레이션 시스템)

  • Applying maintenance simulation using virtual mockup in product design phase enables maintainability test before prototyping physical products, and it is expected to reduce product development costs. The simulation results can be reused as contents of service manuals and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) analysis data. Maintenance simulation should provide realistic representation of physical property of virtual product, assembly relation between parts and manipulation process to verify feasibility of product design. The simulation system should be extended to collaborative virtual environment to perform collaborative maintenance procedures. In this paper, the three layered system architecture and the physics based collaborative interaction technique are proposed to extend current maintenance simulation into collaborative virtual environment. The proposed system was implemented as ViMMS (Virtual Mockup Maintenance Simulation system), and compared with case study results of VADE (Virtual Assembly Design Environment). As a result, the ViMMS encompassed broader range of maintenance tasks by using physics based collaborative interaction technique.

Implementation of Academic Journal Map based on Electronic Cultural Atlas using Google Maps (구글맵스 전자문화지도 기반의 학술지 지도 구현)

  • With the growing interests in ICT convergence, interdisciplinary researches are still actively discussed and studied today such as cultural atlas DB, electronic cultural atlas. Electronic cultural atlas can show various cultural aspects on the map by using point, line, polygon, and so on. Users can obtain the informations connected to the three values through manipulating theme, spatial and time values. In this regard, text information can be visualized as various ways like point, line, and polygon on the map. This can make the user get information effectively by usability, accessibility and immediacy of the system. In this paper, we implemented academic journal map system based on the electronic cultural atlas using Google Maps. This system supports various journals information services based on electronic cultural atlas and can be used efficiently as a tool for academic trends analysis. Also, it provides academic material through visualization of information based on the map. In detail, it can be utilized as the foundations for research of Humanities and Area Studies.

A Study on The Application of VR Technology for The Contents of Petroglyph Museum (VR기술을 활용한 암각화 박물관의 콘텐츠 개발 연구)

  • The Petroglyph is a drawing on the rock which reflects the art, religion, myth, and life style of prehistoric society. Recently lots of researches have been studied to develop the contents applying the petroglyphs in the fields of exhibition, education, entertainment, and commercial. This research aims to find some possible VR contents based on the petroglyphs text. The review on the Ulsan petroglyph museum which is the first and the only petroglyph museum in Korea was the first step. Some limitation and problems were found in the current contents which could be overcome by using VR technology. The next step was the overall review of VR system and devices, and then I analyzed five cases of VR contents which specifically applied to the cultural heritages. Based on the analysis of case studies I propose some possible VR contents more immersive and interactive covered with whole range of petroglyphs context, environmental, social, cultural, technical and artistic.

A Study on Tactile Sensation Application for Computer Game and Virtual Reality (컴퓨터게임과 가상현실을 위한 촉각 응용에 관한 연구)

  • The human sense of touch provides us with an important source of information about our surroundings. Because of its unique position at interface between our bodies and the out world, touch sensation supplies sensory data which helps us manipulate and recognize objects and warn of harmful situation. But tactile sensation was recognized less important than visual sense and auditory sense but it plays an important immersing role in virtual reality and computer game. Tactile sensation can be used to influence to objects according to power and supplied sensory feedback to the player in a virtual environment. This paper investigated the characteristics of tactile sensation of human being and proposed method of sturdy using force sensing sensor, simple force modeling and data structure form for virtual reality and computer game. As a result, force distribution, depth, center point can be calculated using sensor output and this information is very effective to specific position for actions and reactions. This study can used as basic information for tactile sensation and it's application in computer game and virtual realty.
