조속기 응동 조류계산 기반 장기 전압안정도 모의 (Governor-Response Power Flow Based Long-term Voltage Stability Simulation)

  • This paper present a practical method for long-term voltage stability simulation based on a governor-response power flow. Governor-response power flow (GPF) is to model the long-term system response in the interval from 3 to 30 seconds after disturbance. In this paper, it is assumed that the GPF model ran capture the system state before load restoration starts in contingent conditions. This paper discusses the applicability of GPF to long-term simulation for voltage stability analysis and then explains the GPF formulation and the procedure of the proposed simulation. In addition the paper includes the simulation results with the modified New England 39-bus system.

  • 주파수는 발전기 조속기와 전적거래소 EMS AGC의 협조제어 체계가 적절하여야 안정적인 운영이 가능하며, 과다한 주파수 조정은 경제급전을 저해함은 물론 발전기의 수명단축을 초래하기 때문에 AGC 최적튜닝은 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 '07년도에 거래소 계통운영처에서 수행한 AGC 제어파라미터 튜닝기법 및 효과에 대해 논하고 있으며, 학계는 물론 동종업계에 AGC 관련 기술개발시 업무추진에 도움이 되었으면 한다.

  • The government established the 8th national energy plan that electricity energy from renewables in 2030 will be 20%. The frequency stability problem is one of the key issues to overcome for accomplishing the energy plan. Frequency quality deteriorates due to short term variations of renewables output. Battery energy storage system(BESS) is considered as a good alternative to improve the frequency quality due to its quick response. In this paper, we examined the effectiveness of BESS against the conventional governor properties.

  • In this study, turbine speed control algorithm is studied for Buk-Jeju steam turbine power plant and also digital governor system is designed for speed control of steam turbine in power plant. By using duplex I/O module, triplex CPU module, 2 out of 3 voting algorithm and adding self diagnostic ability, the reliability of the designed digital governor system can be acquired satisfactorily. Designed and manufactured digital governor system is implemented in a pilot steam turbine plant of 0.3kw output power Installed in Korea Maritime University. After a series of experiment the reliability and availability is confirmed and also stable operation is achieved.

  • Microcomputer-based PID governor which can be provided either stability or rapid response for small hydro power plant at low cost is developed and adapted to the 5 KW model hydro power for the performance test. The effects of PID gains on stability boundaries of the hydraulic turbine generating system is investigated. For the optimum selection of the PID gains, general equations are derived on the base of the experiments. This control system has a good performance at the model of hydro power plant. For the prediction of the control system, a mathematical model was developed and the results of the simulation using this model was matched with the experimental results.

  • The propulsion marine diesel engine have been widely applied with a mechanical- hydraulic governor to control the ship speed for long time. But it was recently very difficult for the mechani¬cal - hydraulic governor to control the speed of engine under the condition of low speed and low load because of jiggling by rough fluctuation of rotating torque and hunting by dead time of Desiel engnie The performance improvement of mechanical - hydraulic governor is required to solve these problems of control system. The electro - hydraulic governor using PID algorithm is provided to compensate the faults of mechanical- hydraulic governor. In this paper, in order to analyze the ship speed control system, the transfer function was converted from the z tansformation to w transformation. The influence of dead time changing by engine speed which induces hunting phenomena was investigated by Nichols chart of w plane. As a method of performance improvement of mechanical hydraulic governor, a Eletro - hydraulic governor shows that fine control results can be obtained through optimal parameter tuning of PID

  • 본 논문은 석유시추선의 전력 계통 시스템의 비상시 전력 계통 해석에 대하여 기술하였다. 특히 석유시추선의 추진부하와 발전기의 탈락으로 인해 발생하는 전력계통 시스템에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 또한 고정 여자방식과 조속기의 제어 변수를 조정하여 임의의 사고 전후 정상상태로의 복귀까지 과도 안정도 해석으로 전력계통에 나타나는 현상을 관찰하였다. 전력계통 설계와 해석 및 과도 현상해석 프로그램인 ETAP(Electrical Transient Analysis Program)을 사용하였으며, 수치해석의 결과를 도출하여 그 특성을 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, the derivation of the energy function reflecting the governor's integral control loop is presented. When integral control is considered we obtain oscillatory response of the loop at the price of reducing frequency error. In other words, as $K_I$ is inclosed, the region of stability is decresed. When derived energy function is applied to the one machine infinite bus system, we showed that this function can be used to assess stability.

  • Recently, it was very difficult for hydraulic governor to regulate the speed of high power engine with long stroke at low speed and low load, because of the jiggling phenomena by rough fluctuation of rotating torque and the hunting phenomena by long dead time occurred in fuel combustion process in the engine cylinder. In this paper, the influence of engine dead time is investigated by Nickels chart, and hybrid controller selected advantages of PID and fuzzy logic controller is provided to improve the performance of speed control of a low speed and long stroke diesel engine.
