  • 자가용 발전기는 주로 디젤엔진과 동기발 전기로 구성된다. 자가용 발전기의 안정적인 출력을 위해서는 디젤엔진을 정속으로 운전하는 것이 중요하다. 디젤엔진의 속도 제어기로는 일반적으로 조속기가 사용되는데, 본 논문에서는 DSP를 이용한 디지털 조속기를 개발하고 정속제어를 위한 운전 알고리즘을 제시하였다.

  • 디지털 기술을 기반으로 한 조속기 제어시스템의 제어 알고리즘에 대한 적합성과 하드웨어의 신뢰성 시험을 위한 다이나믹 테스트 베드를 구축하기 위해 증기 터빈 및 발전기의 특성을 그대로 모사하는 시뮬레이터 및 하드웨어를 개발하였으며, 개발된 시뮬레이터를 사용자(시험자)가 그 기능들을 적절하고 편리하게 사용할 수 있도록 인간공학의 원칙을 반영하여 설계하였다. 이를 위해 시뮬레이터가 가져야 하는 기능들을 시험 절차의 분석을 통해 도출하고 그 기능들을 사용 목적에 따라 적절하게 그룹핑하였으며, 가장 빈번하게 사용하는 Mimic Display의 경우 사용자가 항상 확인 가능하도록 주 화면에 구성한 인간-기계 연계 설계에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

  • In this paper author develops digital governor for medium speed diesel engine. The system is composed of MPU main control module RPM measuring module PWM driving module driver module for F.O. rack drive motor key pad and display module. Experiment results of speed control on 6cyl 1800pm 250kw Daewoo MAN diesel erigine were satisfied for design speci-fications and system could be developed for commercial usage after taking more experiments and endurance tests under various environments.

  • In this study, a technical characteristic test was conducted on the gas turbine generator system of Seoincheon Combined cycle no.6 to derive and verify the model constants. As a result of the generator maximum/minimum reactive power limit test, the maximum reactive power limit is 80 MVar and the minimum is -30 MVar. The generator uses the GENROU model, the field time constant (T'do) is 4.077 s, and the inertial constant (H) is 5.461 P.U. Excitation system used ESST4B model to derive and verify model constants by simulating no-load 2% AVR step test, PSS modeling derived from PSS2A model constants, and simulated and compared measurement data measured when PSS off/on Did. The GGOV1 model was used for the governor-turbine, and the numerical stability of the determined governor-turbine model constant was verified by simulating a 10% governor step test through the PSS/E simulation program

Analysis of Dynamic Equilibrium Configuration of Speed Governor (조속기의 동적 평형위치 해석)

  • This paper proposes a method to obtain the dynamic equilibrium configuration of a constrained mechanical system by using multibody dynamic analysis. Dynamic equilibrium equations with independent coordinates are derived from the time-dependent constraint equations and dynamic equations of a multibody system. The Newton-Raphson method is used to find numerical solutions for nonlinear algebraic equations that are composed of the dynamic equilibrium and constraint equations. The proposed method is applied to obtain the dynamic equilibrium configuration of a speed governor, and the results are verified on the basis of the results from conventional dynamic analysis. Furthermore, vertical displacements at equilibrium configuration, which varied with the rotational velocity of the speed governor, are calculated, and design parameter analysis of the equilibrium configuration is presented.

  • In this paper, hydro-turbine system is modelled. Real input and output signals are acquired from the hydro-turbine system and the parameters of the model are estimated using input-output data, the model adjustment technique and a genetic algorithm(GA). To verify feasibility of the propose(1 model, computer simulations using GA have been carried out. The results show excellent characteristics of the proposed modeling and identification of the hydro-turbine system.

  • 조속기는 수차발전기의 핵심을 담당하는 두뇌라고 말할 수 있으며, 전력계통의 부하(주파수)가 변할 경우 수차발전기의 회전속도를 정격으로 유지시켜 양질의 전기를 생산하도록 항시 조정되는 역할을 한다. 최근 조속기는 디지털화되어 최적제어 감시 및 보호기능을 수행하고 있으나 문제점도 하나둘씩 나타나고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 가버너의 Isolation Mode에 대한 설명과 사고사례를 통해 디지털가버너 운영 시 문제점을 분석, 검토하여 보완하고자 하였으며, 이를 통해 안정적으로 전력공급을 주요 목적으로 하였다.

  • Governors control the revolution speed of heat engines such as diesel engines, steam turbines and gas turbines. Precise and prompt tests for the control performances of governors are essential both in governors' manufacturing processes and in governors' maintenance processes. In the conventional governor test systems controlled by analog type electronic controllers, the incorporation of heat engine's dynamics to the test system have been considered very difficult to realize. This study suggests a new governor test system controlled by a digital controller using a personal computer. The application of the digital controller to the test system instead of the analog type electronic controller have brought about the following advancements; (1) heat engine's dynamics could be implemented easily in the test system, (2) automatic test data acquisition both in steady state and in transient state enables us to save test time and to enhance the reliability of the tests.
