Variation Operating Environment Analysis of Port Radiation Monitor (항만 방사선감시기의 검색환경 분석 연구)

  • 본 연구는 항만에 설치된 방사선감시기의 검색기능 극대화를 위하여 방사선감시기의 검색환경을 분석하고 물류흐름 관점에서 운영환경 개선방안 도출을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구 목적 달성을 위해 원자력안전위원회에서 제시한 방사선 위험화물의 수입 물동량 분석을 수행하여 방사선감시기 설치 타당성을 확보하였다. 문헌조사와 현장 전문가 인터뷰를 통해 항만의 방사선감시기 설치환경 및 운영에 따른 물류 장애요인을 분석하였다. 또한, 항만 내 방사선감시기 설치가 가능한 위치를 3단계(본선하역작업, 야드 이송 및 적재 작업, 게이트 반출)로 구분하여 각 위치별 장 단점을 분석하고 최적의 감시기 설치 위치를 도출하였다. 연구결과, 감시기 설치 위치 단계별 비용, 물류흐름, 관리 운영적 측면을 고려하였을 때, 게이트 반출 단계가 방사선 감시기 설치를 위한 최적위치로 적합한 것으로 확인하였다. 방사선감시기의 운영최적화 방안으로는 첫째, 반출 게이트 내부의 2차 검색부지 확보를 통해 게이트 통과 전 방사선감시기를 통한 화물 검색이 이루어질 수 있도록 해야 한다. 둘째, 화물인도지시서(Delivery Order: D/O)를 활용한 신속한 화물정보 파악을 통해 물류흐름의 방해요인을 제거 할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

An Exploratory Study For the Social Feasibility Of the Dredging the Water-Depth of Busan Port (부산항 컨테이너터미널의 증심준설에 관한 사회적 타당성 분석을 위한 탐색적 연구)

  • As the containership has been large-sized, it is important to analyze the social feasibility for the dredging the water-depth of Busan port. We tries to do an exploratory study to analyze the needs of the core port user group by using the survey methodology. We did the survey for the ocean carriers, terminal operating companies, ship pilots respectively. Collected data was analyzed by frequency and cross tabulation method. Result suggests that the Busan North Port should be dredged to the 16 meter depth and Busan New Port should be dredged to the 17 meter depth. And the priority of the depth dredging is ranked as Gamman pier, Sinsundae pier, New Port and Jasungdae pier.

  • 해상 활동에 있어서 해상교통의 핵심정보인 항법신호의 안전을 강화하기 위하여, 본 논문에서는 국내에서 발생한 전파간섭 발생 사례와 영향, 그리고 DGNSS 기준국 무결성 기능의 한계에 대해 조사하고 그 대응방안을 운영자 및 선박 운항자 관점에서 분석한다. 그 대안의 하나로서 항만 항법신호(PNT)의 무결성 감시 기술과 그 신뢰도를 결정하여 사용자에게 제공하기 위한 항만 PNT 무결성 감시 서비스에 대해 소개한다. 그리고 특정 항만에 항법신호 감시 시스템을 구축하여, 개발 시스템의 시범 운영 테스트를 통해 그 실용화 가능성을 제시한다.

A Basic Study on the VTS Operator's Minimum Safe Distance (VTS관제사의 최소안전거리에 관한 기초 연구)

  • This study aims to enhance the effectivity of VTS(Vessel Traffic Service) control by investigating the minimum safe distance between vessel and vessel, vessel and land(obstacle) for the vessel's safe navigation within the VTS control area. In addition, to suggest basic data for the safe navigation, this study has done survey and analysis to each VTS center, and individual on the minimum safe distance to VTS operators of each ports of korea. Through ocean voyage by training ship, Singapore and Malacca strait's congested vessel traffic zone's control distance was compared and investigated the difference on safe distance by the different VTS operators. As a result, there was huge difference of minimum safe distance between the VTS operators belong to the same center. Over all, the port with gentle coastline, like donghae, the safe distance was wider than the other port. On the other hand, port with complex coastline and frequent entry and departure of the vessel, like mokpo, the safe distance was the shortest of all. Therefore, development of module suitable to port's natural conditions and traffic volume's necessity is required, for the operators affiliated to the same VTS center control according to formal method. Lastly, the full discussion by the expert group about establishment of standard control procedure in the future should be considered as well.

  • Ulsan Port is in the situation which the harbour limit and anchorages are less narrow than other trading ports and the occurrence probability of marine accidents is high due to heavy marine traffic Especially, the shortage of anchorages will become worse in case that the number of inbound and outbound vessels increases according to the development of Ulsan New Port. We will find and suggest the plan to enlarge the harbour limit essentially needed to expand anchorages in this research The reasonable type of harbour limit which is based on the survey by a group of experts, was determined after the decision of the range of harbour limit to accommodate the relevant anchorages.

  • The aim of this study is identifying characteristics of spatial distribution using submerged debris data on the bottom of sea ground. Marine debris is classified into floating and submerged debris. These are polluting marine environment, ecology and habitat by floating and submerged. Also it takes a lot of money when it is to process the waste flowing into the ocean. In this study, it is used data of submerged debris by side scan sonar on the bottom of sea ground in Pohang port. Submerged distribution map is made to identify spatial classified characteristics of SMD(submerged marine debris) using by position and weight per area of SMD.

Research on the Seiche of the Mukho harbor using the Boundary Element Method (경계요소법(境界要素法)에 의한 묵호항(墨湖港)의 부진동특성(副振動特性)에 관한 연구(研究))

  • A numerical simulation using the Boundary Element Method is performed for investigating the seiche in the Mukho harbor. The range of the incident waves period is from 7 seconds to 10 minutes, which these surface waves usually may be found in cases of the swell and the long period storm surges caused by storm winds. It is found that the seiche may be occurred by resonating with the incident waves of which the periods are about 11 seconds and 3 minutes. The numerical method was verified by the hydraulic model experiment data which had performed before. Numerical results for the seiche in the Mukho harbor show good agreements with the field observations, so that this research may be useful to estimate harbor calmness in a harbor and the harbor planning.

  • The effect of lithium-ascorbate derivatives on viruses was investigated using a wide variety of bacterial viruses(phage). Lithium-ascorbate derivatives exerted an inactivating effect on all phages examined. Lithium-ascorbate derivatives have antiviral effects. The antiviral effect of lithium 2-o-octadecyl ascorbate was stronger than that of lithium ascorbate. Even at 10∼20 times lower concentration, the lithium 2-o-octadecyl ascorbate showed very much similar phage inactivating effect to that of ascorbate and lithium ascorbate.

  • The antifungal activity of chitosan ($M.W.\;400,000{\sim}500,000$) and chitooligosaccharide ($M.W.\;3,500{\sim}5,000$) was investigated against Candida albicans and Trichophyton rubrum. Chitosan showed antifungal activity against C. albicans and T. rubrum at 50 and 100 ng/ml, respectively while chitooligosaccharide did not suppress the growth of fungus. The mode of antifungal activity of chitosan was found to be fungicidal activity. In order to investigate the induction of apoptosis by chitosan, exposure of phosphatidylserine on the surface of the cytoplasmic membrane was observed by the FITC-annexin V reaction. The results showed that chitosan induced apoptosis on C. albicans.

Study on Preference of Shippers in Pan Yellow Sea Region (항만을 이용하는 화주 선호도에 관한 연구(환황해권 항만을 중심으로))

  • To analyze the port choice hierarchy, factorial and AHP analysis were conducted based on the survey for shippers using west coastal ports. As the result of analysis with 17 factors, 6 main factors; port service, port operation and geographical condition, connectivity to hinterland, port cost, accessibility and facilities were chosen. Based on this, AHP and correlation analysis of each factor were conducted. And the results were shown as cost, service, facility, connectivity, accessibility and operation in order. In addition, several ways for incentive program, the most important factor based on AHP analysis, to influence shippers around west coastal port were reviewed. As the result of review for the incentive program of domestic container ports, it was shown that three ports, Gun-san, Dae-san and Mok-po, offer incentive to shipper while two ports, Pyeong-tak and Dang-jin, do not. Therefore, the former three ports need to reinforce the existing incentive program while the latter ones introduce it.
