Design of Multivariable 2-DOF PID for Electrical Power of Flow System by Neural Network Tuning Method (신경망 튜우닝에 의한 유량계통 동력 제어용 다변수 2-자유도 PID의 제어기 설계)

  • The fluid system such as, the quantity control of raw water, chemicals control in the purification, the waste water system as well as in the feed water or circulation system of the power plant and the ventilation system is controlled with the valve and moter pump. The system's performance and the energy saving of the fluid systems depend on control of method and delicacy. Until, PI controller use in these system but it cannot control delicately because of the coupling in the system loop. In this paper we configure a single flow system to the multi variable system and suggest the application of 2-DOF PID controller and the tuning methods by the neural network to the electrical power of the flow control system. the 2-DOF controller follows to a setpoint has a robustness against the disturbance in the results of simulation.   • People counting has always been a method of interest for maximizing energy saving by identifying the congestion level or amount of use of a specific facility to efficiently manage the facility, or automatically implementing a power saving function by identifying the number of people entering and exiting a specific place such as a toilet. The method of counting people by image processing is very expensive and has the disadvantage of being severely affected by the surrounding environment of the lighting. In the case of the area sensor, there is a disadvantage of counting as one person when the number of people passes close with arms folded. In order to solve the existing method, which is expensive, affected by lighting, or inaccurate the number of people in certain cases, this paper proposes a new method of counting people using the principle of LiADAR. Accurate counting of the number of people entering the hospital will help manage hospital facilities, but it will also help to establish effective quarantine measures at the present time when Corona 19 is prevalent.

An Experiment of Discomfort Glare from Non-uniform Glare Source (불균일한 휘도를 갖는 창면의 불쾌글레어 평가실험)

  • Impact of daylighting on the visual environment can improve occupant's well-being by providing visual comfort. Also, daylighting can save energy. However, glare from window can be a direct hazard to vision and can cause serious discomfort. Selecting glare source on a window plane is very important for evaluating discomfort glare from windows. But former glare indices can not identify the range of the glare source properly. In this study, difference in glare sensation with uniform and non-uniform glare sources are evaluated to identify the range of the glare source. The glare source was assumed as $120{\times}120[cm]$ window model. The window was divided into three parts with different luminance values. The experiment was conducted under 1[m], 1.5[m], 3[m] distance from the glare source. Two results were obtained from the experiments. First, the degree of discomfort glare increased as average window luminance increased. Second, the middle and lower part of the window plane can affect evaluation of discomfort glare as well as the upper part of the window plan. These results can be used for selecting the glare source in a window with non-uniform luminance.

  • This paper introduces a sensor system based on indoor locations in order to implement the Building Energy Management System. This system consists of a thermopile sensor and an ultrasonic sensor. The sensor module is rotated by $360^{\circ}$ and yawed up-and-down by two electric motors. Therefore, it can simultaneously detect the number and location of the inhabitants in the room. It uses wireless technology to communicate with the building manager or the smart-home server, and it can save electric energy by controlling the lighting system or heating/air conditioning equipment automatically. We also demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed system by applying it to a real environment.

  • Visible light communication is a communication method using an LED's blinking(ON/OFF), it has a feature of light because of the limit of perception by the human's optic nerve. LED' dimming control used in the VLC system is important factor needed to provide energy saving and life benefits. With advances in VLC system, MIMO technology has received much attention in that it can be obtain channel capacity proportionate to the number of antenna. Therefore, in this paper, with RC method which is one of the MIMO style in VLC system, it is compared communication performance using RZ-OOK, VPPM, MPPM and OPPM. As a result of the simulation was run against this, MPPM works well in terms of Power requirement and OPPM works well in terms of Spectral efficiency and Bandwidth requirement, also it was confirmed that there is a significant impact on the communication performance of each modulation scheme according to the dimming.

  • This paper introduces a home network service system using a low-cost wireless router on OpenWrt which can be remotely controled by Android devices. The proposed system consists of an embedded system development platform for home network service control based on OpemWrt embedded Linux, an embedded system development platform, a remote control on Android, and a home linghting device made by an interface board with LEDs. The prototype system is made of a wireless router of Buffalo, WZR-HP-G450H, Arduino Uno interface board with LEDs, and an Android development kit of HBE-SM5-S421. The operation was performed by TCP/IP programming for Android remote control, socket programming between Android development kit and wireless router, and UART communication programming between the interface board and wireless router. The implementation result shows that a low cost home network systme could be implemented with a wireless router.

  • 전자식 안정기는 최근 에너지 절약 정책과 관련하여 조명기기분야의 관심의 대상이 되었고, 절전 효율이 높은 고품질의 전자식 안정기에 대한 연구 개발 및 보급이 점점 더 확대되고 있는 추세이다. 일반적으로 전자식 안정기는 수십 KHz의 고주파에서 형광등을 구동시킴으로써 빛의 깜박거림과 가청잡음이 없으며, 저주파(60Hz)에서 사용하는 재래식 안정기(choke coil 방식)에 비해 높은 절전 효과를 얻을 수 있다[1-4]. 특히, 빌딩 사무실의 경우 낮에도 창가의 형광등이 켜져 있어서 막대한 전력을 낭비하고 있는 실정이므로, 일조량에 따른 자동 전력 조절이 가능한 전자식 형광등의 출현이 기대되고 있다. 전자식 안정기의 보급 확대를 위해서는 절전 효과 뿐만 아니라, 품질 문제, 수명 문제등을 고려하여야 하는 바, 예를 들면 순간 점등으로 방전초기의 sputtering 현상에 의한 lamp의 수명 단축, 미소 입력전압 변동에 따른 급격한 광출력의 변화로 절전 효과의 상실과 이상동작에 의한 스위칭 소자의 파괴 현상, 고주파 스위칭시 발생되는 전력손실과 noise등에 대한 대책이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 점을 개선하기 위해 추가되는 회로는 전자식 안정기 시스템을 더욱 복잡하게 만들고, 경제적으로 원가 부담을 주기 때문ㅇ 고품질의 전자식 안정기를 보급하는데 어려운 점으로 부각되고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 조광기능을 포함한 다양한 제어회로와 보호회로를 조광기능을 포함한 다양한 제어회로와 보호회로를 1 chip에 수용하는 고품질의 전자식 안정기 제어용 집적회로에 대해서 기술하고자 한다.되어 나아갈 기술의 조류에도 부합하는 형태라 하겠다. 그러나 이 방식은 기 언급한 바와 같이 분산처리를 관장하는 운영체계의 개발에 상당한 고전이 따르리라 보여지며, 또한 보다 상세한 연구가 선행되어야 하겠지만 개발된 상용의 통신 프로토콜로서는 병렬처리의 성능을 극대화 하기에는 여러가지 제약이 있을 것으로 예측된다.기기들이 어떻게 응용되고 있는지 살펴보기로 하자. real informations would be available.   • White LEDs (light-emitting diodes) are promising new-generation light sources which can replace conventional lamps due to their high reliability, low energy consumption and eco-friendly effects. This paper briefly reviews recent progress of oxy/nitride host phosphor and quantum dot materials with broad excitation band characteristics for phosphor-converted white LEDs. Among oxy/nitride host materials, $M_2Si_5N_8$ : $Eu^{2+}$, $MAlSiN_3$ : $Eu^{2+}$ M-SiON (M = Ca, Sr, Ba), ${\alpha}/{\beta}$-SiAlON : $Eu^{2+}$ are excellent phosphors for white LED using blue-emitting chip. They have very broad excitation bands in the range of 440~460 nm and exhibit emission from green to red. In this paper, In this review we focus on recent developments in the crystal structure, luminescence and applications of the oxy/nitride phosphors for white LEDs. In addition, the application prospects and current trends of research and development of quantum dot phosphors are also discussed.

  • Currently, overall power usage is also increasing as power demand such as homes, offices, and factories increases. The increase in power use also raised interest in standby power as a change in awareness of energy saving appeared. Home and office devices are consuming power even in standby conditions. Accordingly, there is a growing need to reduce standby power, and it aims to have standby power of 1W or less. An intelligent outlet uses a near-field wireless network to connect to a home network and cut or reduce standby power of a lamp or appliance connected to an outlet. This research aims to develop a monitoring system and an intelligent outlet that can remotely monitor the amount of electricity used in a lighting lamp or a home appliance connected to an outlet using a short-range wireless network (Zigbee). Also, The intelligent outlet and monitoring system developed makes it possible for a user to easily cut off standby power by using a portable device. Intelligent outlets will not only reduce standby power but also be applicable to fire prevention systems. Devices that cut off standby power include intelligent outlets and standby power cutoff switches, so they will prevent short circuits and fires.
