A Development of Energy Saving System for Automatic Lighting Control using PIR (PIR을 이용한 에너지절감형 자동조명제어 시스템 개발)

  • This paper proposes a novel design of auto light control system with high efficiency using RS-485 to save lighting energy in new and existing buildings. The proposed system consists of ALSU(Auto Light Sensor Unit) which is connected with RS-485 to control lighting appliances, ALS(Auto Light Unit), and Hi-FACS which is a monitoring system using communication interface. lighting appliances are automatically controlled by ALSU which detects moving objects. The total system is designed to be controlled by either manual or auto mode by using the ALS. In addition, the monitoring system receives the information on the state of the lighting appliances from ALSU and ALS to control the proposed system We compared the proposed system with the conventional one in functionality and energy saving point of view. Through some experimental results, the proposed system shows better performance in various circumstances.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient control system for intelligent LED indoor lighting. The proposed an efficient control system for intelligent LED indoor lighting were included to elements such as daylight intensity measured through the PIR sensor and illuminance sensor at lighting style by the schedule defined and the occupancy detection. And it was controlled lighting through to the wireless sensor network, and was designed for the energy savings. Also, the lighting control of indoor lighting based on occupancy detection detect fine movements using a PIR sensor. And an unnecessary lighting intensity control of the window-side and the inside were controlled according to daylight level measurement result using the light sensor. In daylight inflow many case, the window-side lighting was to automatically darker, and in daylight inflow less case, was designed to be automatically bright. The efficiency validate results of an efficient control system for intelligent LED indoor lighting, the brightness of the indoor light were to maximize the energy saving by controlling in real time when entering as indoor a little that external lighting or daylight.

  • Drivers passing through a tunnel fare some difficulties caused by the visual differences between outside and inside of the tunnel. The blackhole phenomenon at a tunnel entrance lone severely decreases the driver's visibility during the daytime. A counterbeam lighting is generally recommended for the prevention of it. This paper simulates an entrance zone with a blackhole phenomenon to verify the effect of counterbeam lighting. Even though the tunnel lighting is important, It Is not easy to consider many lighting alternatives at the stage of tunnel design due to the complexity of tunnel renditions. This paper is expected to contribute improving the visibility in tunnels, especially at the entrance zone.

  • 백열등의 POWER 평형 방정식을 통한 동작중의 필라멘트 온도와 광속 그리고 수명을 예측할 수 있는 이론이 제시되었다. POWER 평형 방정식을 설정함으로써 백열등 시스템을 모형화 하고, 방정식을 풀므로써 예측할 수 있는 형식으로 예측이론은 구성되었다. 가정용 110V전구에 대해 실측치와 비교해 본 결과, 충분한 타당성이 있음이 입증되었다. 본 이론의 정확한 예측성은 백열등을 해석, 이해하는 데 열쇠가 되는 제특성치를 제공할 수 있었는데 아직 생산단계에 있지 않은 크립톤가스등의 특성치도 추정할 수 있었다. 또 하나의 유용성은 백열등 설계를 위한 제 매개변수간의 관계식을 본 이론으로부터 도출하여 기존의 경험에만 의존하는 설계법을 보완하고 새로운 설계시 최적설계치를 선정할 수 있다는 점에 있다.

  • LED는 오랫동안 가전제품이나 각종 기계의 표시소자로 사용되어 왔으나, 최근 LED가 고취도화 되면서 LED를 이용한 조명제품 개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RGB LED를 이용한 LED 전구를 설계하기 위해 광학설계 프로그램 LightTools을 이용하였다. RGB LED의 비율과 배치에 따른 태양광과 비슷한 백색광을 얻기 위해 RGB LED의 비율을 R:G:B=1:1.5:3, 하여 CIE 색좌표 x:y=0.342: 0.291, 색온도 5100[K]의 값을 얻었다. RGB LED의 대칭, 원형, 간격별 배열에 따른 배치를 통하여 색좌표 x:y= 0.337: 0.297인 백색광을 얻었다. 이 같은 결론을 바탕으로 RGB LED전구를 설계하였다.
