Development of the blade shape design (밭 농업 제초날 형상 설계)

  • 국내에 유통되는 제초날은 대부분 금속으로 제작되며, 금속 날의 대부분 탄소공구강(SK-3~5)으로 제작되고, 날 수 및 날 형태에 따라 2도 날, 3도 날, 4도 날, 8도 날, 톱날로 구분된다. 대부분 평지 제초작업에 사용되고, 고랑 제초 작업에 알맞은 제초날의 없어 고랑 제초 작업의 효율이 떨어진다. 본 연구는 굴곡이 있는 밭의 고랑 제초 작업에 효율적인 원형 제초날을 설계 하고자 한다. 밭작물의 제초작업은 굴곡이 있는 이랑과 고랑 사이의 잡초를 제거해야 하기 때문에 평지의 잡초를 제거하는 제초날로는 제초작업이 거의 불가능하다. 따라서 고랑 형상에 맞는 원형 제초날을 설계 하였으며, 회전 균형 및 무게의 균일성 설계가 쉬운 뼈대형 원형 제초날을 설계한 후 데이터를 이용하여 원형 제초날을 설계하였다. 또한 고랑의 잡초 뿌리부분을 제거하기 위해 원형 제초날에 돌출부를 추가하는 방법으로 설계하였다. 제초날은 밭작물 고랑폭을 기준으로 하여 높이는 85mm 직경은 300mm로 설계하였으며, 제초날 설계시 원형 제초날은 뼈대형 원형 제초날과 같이 고랑폭을 기준으로 하여 높이 및 직경을 뼈대형 원형 제초날과 동일한 치수로 설계하였다. 원형 제초날 설계에서 돌출부를 볼트 결착방식으로 설계하였으며, 회전중 돌출부의 파손 혹은 이탈을 방지하기 위하여 직경 5mm이상의 볼트 결착이 필요하였다. 볼트 결착방식은 제초날 조립후 제초날 회전시 고랑의 잡초를 효과적으로 제거하기 위한 작업공간 확보가 어려울 것으로 판단되었다. 따라서 제초날 원형부에 돌출부를 절단 절곡하는 방식으로 돌출부를 재설계하였으며, 돌출부 길이는 안쪽 부분 15mm, 바깥 부분 20mm로 설계하고, 돌출부 회전반경은 안쪽 날 20mm, 바깥 날 10mm로 설계하였다. 일반적인 제초날 과 달리 원형 제초날을 개발하기 위해서 회전균형과 안전이 제초날 설계에 중요한 요인이 된다. 뼈대형 제초날을 통하여 제초날의 균형 데이터를 분석하였고 이를 바탕으로 원형 제초날을 설계하였다. 또한 발란싱 머신을 이용한 회전시험에서 unbalance 정도가 3,600rpm에서 4.51/47.1deg로 나타나 제초기에 적용 가능할 것으로 판단되었다.

Teleoperation Using Reconstructed Graphic Model (재구성된 그래픽 모델을 이용한 원격제어)

  • In typical master/slave teleoperation systems, a human operator generally manipulates the master to control the slave through the visual information like camera image. However, the operator may get into trouble due to the limited visual information depending on the camera positions and the delay on the visual information because of low communication bandwidth. To cope with this inherit problem in the camera-based teleoperation system, this paper presents a teleoperation system using a reconstructed graphic model instead of the camera image. The proposed teleoperation system consists of a robot control module, a master module using a force-reflective joystick, and a graphic user interface (GUI) module. The graphic user interface module provides the operator with a 3D model reconstructed using a small set of sensing data received from the remote site. The proposed teleoperation system is evaluated through a peg-in-hole assembly task.

  • The NARO is South Korea's first carrier launch vehicle, which made its flights from NARO Space Center on 25 August 2009 and 10 June 2010. LV PACS(Preparation Automated Control System) is a electrical ground support system to monitor and control the integrated launch vehicle during the launch preparation and operation in Launch Complex. As a subsystem of LV PACS, LV PACS-II was developed for launch preparation and operation of the NARO upper stage, and all the functions and requirements were verified successfully through NARO flight tests. In this paper the core technology and characteristics applied to LV PACS-II are described.

  • There have been certain extent of material inventory in construction site because of difficulties in ordering by small quantity, strategy of securing future requirements and prevention of delay. However, carrying these inventory entails a financial cost called inventory holding cost and decrease construction productivity, so proper inventory management in construction industry is important for construction efficiency and cost reduction. This study tries to find analytical method of inventory management. It includes ordering decision which decide how much to order and when to order. Setting these strategies including deciding safety inventory, input and ouput variability are able to controled.

  • Earned Value Management System(EVMS) has been considered as a useful tool of managing construction projects lately and its instruction into a private industry is now under consideration by the Korean government. It is on the basis of C/SCSC that had been released by the U.S. Department of Defense(DOD) since 1967. Its research has been in the active progress in order to utilize the earned value concept as a project management tool for construction project ordered by both government and private sector. Material Requirement Planning(MRP) is also known as a tool of planning and scheduling resources for assembly product as a part of inventory control models in the manufacturing industry. The purpose of this study is the effective employment of Earned Value Management to manage the construction projects by utilizing Material Requirement Planning(MRP), based on project management software and Workpackaging model.

  • Gangform compared with conventional wood and steel form is systemized form which has a capability to install and dismantle form at a time without repeating to assembly and disassembly small members. Gangform compared with ACS has some problems such as 1) Tower Crane load increase, 2) increase in safety incidence during climbing Gangform, 3) decrease in detachment operation productivity, 4) stop work due to climate impacts, and 5) decrease in labor cost, productivity, quality. A conceptual design model of automated Gangform climbing system is suggested for apartment housing construction to show its technical/economic feasibility and workers' safety while increasing operation productivity and concrete quality.

맥동관형 크라이오 펌프 국산 시제품 성능예측과 평가

  • 맥동관형 크라이오펌프 개발 2단계를 맞아 우성진공(유)을 중심으로 상용화 시제품 제작이 진행되고 있다. 최종 크라이오 펌프 개발품은 흡기구 직경(내경) 16.5 (14) 인치에 질소 배기속도 3,600 L/s를 목표로 하고 있다. 상용품 완성 전에 거쳐야 할 필수적인 시험과정으로 시제품의 공정대응성 현장평가를 위해 KAIST 나노팹에 개발품을 투입하는 프로그램이 계획되어 있어서 공정장치에 장착할 수 있도록 10인치 크라이오 펌프 제작이 추가로 진행되고 있다. 개발품의 성능확인은 우선 몬테카를로 계산을 통해 배기속도를 예측하고 구조설계를 최적화했으며 이를 바탕으로 가공 조립된 크라이오펌프 시제품의 성능을 표준화된 장치에서 표준화된 절차를 통해 평가하여 설계 목표값과 비교했다. 한편 개발품의 성능 수준을 상대적으로 규정하기 위해 기존 상용품들을 같은 방식을 따라 평가하여 성능을 서로 비교하는 작업을 수행했다. 10인치 모델로는 국산 Genesis HPM200, CTI-8 수직형 및 수평형 GM 크라이오 펌프를 성능 시험했으며 16.5인치 개발품의 유사모델로 CTI-12 GM 크라이오 펌프를 시험해서 비교했다.

자동차 조립공정에서의 작업자세 부하 평가 체계 구축

  • In this study, the postural stresses in automobile assembly tasks were evaluated through an experiment. We had 19 subjects who simulated 42 different working postures occuring in the automobile assembly tasks for1 min and rated their whole body discomforts subjectively. We sued a free modulus magnitude estimation technique, commonly used as a psycophysical rating technique, and fully trained the subjects for the technique. The postures were selected through the analysis of the characteristics of te automobile assembly tasks and the expected difficulties. The subjective discomfort rating data were normalized by min-max standardization method. The consistency of the rating data was guaranteed by the analysis of spear man rank-order. The postures were ranked on their ratings and the relationships between the whole body discomfort ratings, and joint discomfort ratings were analysed. It is expected taht a system for evaluating postural stresses, which was specific to automobile assembly tasks, can be developed based on the relationship and can also be expended to a general purpose system with a minor modification.

  • This paper provides a guideline for specifying the operational compliance characteristics considering the location of compliance center and the grasp points in assembly tasks using robot hands. Through various assembly tasks, we analyze the conditions of the achievable operational stiffness matrix with respect to the location of compliance center and the grasp points. Also, we show that some of coupling stiffness elements in the operational space cannot be planned arbitrarily. As a result it is concluded that the location of compliance center on the grasped object and the grasp points play important roles for successful assembly tasks and also the operational stiffness matrix should be carefully specified by considering those conditions.

  • In optimizing the layout design of a multi-product assembly environment, tile analysis of the material flow is a vital ingredient. In flexible assembly systems, assembly time is usually very short thus the transfer time is relatively more important Therefore operations sequence must be so determined, that have no backtracking operations as possible as, It is important to form cells, so that they have no intercell movement in curring much processing delay, and to arrange machines as possible as densly. This study presents a independent cell formation method considering operation sequences and machine capacity in flexible assembly systems.
