Public Perception and Usage Pattern of Science Museum by Social Media Big Data Analysis (소셜 빅데이터 분석을 통해 알아본 대중의 과학관에 대한 인식 및 사용 행태)

  • Focusing on the role of the science museum as an institution to improve the scientific literacy of the public, this study investigated public perception and behavior about science museum to know how much science museums affect the public by using social media big data analysis. For this purpose, we extracted texts containing 'science museum' in Naver blogs and Twitter, analyzed them by using network, frequency, co-ocurrence, and semantics analysis and compared them with the results in English speaking countries. As a result, blogs were mainly concerned with science museum among parents who have young children, while in Twitter posts from many students who visited as a group appeared. Therefore, the Korean public used science museum mainly as a space for children's experience, and in this case, programs and exhibitions of science museums are perceived positively. On the other hand, students who visited as a group showed some negative emotions. The result of comparison with the cases of foreign countries in terms of the function of the third generation science museum such as communications with the science museum and the public and the participation of the public in science, the Korean public hardly mentioned the scientific contents, words related to communications such as 'argue', and curators or staff after visiting the science museum. In contrast to many verbs related to meaningful activities such as 'learn', 'participate', 'listen', 'read', 'ask', 'think' appeared in English, only a small number of verbs include 'ask' and 'thin' appeared in Korean. Therefore, science museum need to improve impression, communicating with public, and involving activity with impact and variety after visit.

The Emergence of General Programming Channels and the Formation of Entertaining Media-Political Sphere A New Pattern of Structural Coupling between the Political and the Media Systems (종합편성채널의 부상과 오락적 정론장(政論場)의 형성 정치-미디어 체계 간 구조적 접속의 새로운 양상)

  • The general programming channels, newly introduced around the beginning of the 2010s, have grown into powerful journalistic agencies, the far-reaching social influences of which are not confined by the economic effects within the South Korean media industry. They are now rendered to become part of major socio-political institutions that try to secure their privileges based on broadcast journalism, and to widen their business opportunities through those special kind of social practices. This research has taken a path of theoretical endeavour to devise a conceptual framework that will effectively lead to a series of academic investigation into the socio-political characteristics of general programming channels. To this end, specific attention is paid to such theoretical and conceptual resources as the instrumentalization of media by the politics, the political sociology of media power, media-political parallelism, and the structural coupling between the political and the media systems. This paper suggests that general programming channels have emerged as a new interface that accommodates and actualizes the structural coupling between the two societal subsystems, and in the course of that, they undercut the vulnerable basis of media public sphere, effectively replacing it with entertaining media-political sphere constructed and managed by themselves. This sphere is where the media system's logic and the poltical system's logic are intertwined, simutaneously accelerating not only the mediatization of the politics but also the politicization of the media.

Electoral Redistricting Problems of Non-autonomous Gu ('자치구가 아닌 구'의 선거구획정 문제)

  • This study aims to analyze the redistricting problems in non-autonomous Gu. Although non-autonomous Gu is a just local administrative district, it has been regarded as an important and basic spatial unit in electoral redistricting. By the reform of Public Official Election Act in 2012, however, non-autonomous Gu is distinguished from local governments like Si, Gun and autonomous Gu, in boundary delimitation for the 19th National Assembly election, and some are divided into a part of another constituency. About these background, this study points out the following problems. First, in national scale, the reform of Act made the malapportionment in constituencies of non-autonomous Gus, comparing with those of local governments. Second, there was the discriminative application of Act in each non-autonomous Gu and it will make the malapportionment worse in next election, considering the reorganization of local administrative system. Finally, this study propose that it is necessary to select one from a variety of redistricting principles, especially between the prevention of gerrymandering, the representativeness of local government and the apportionment, prior to another amendment of redistricting system and the debate about political reform.

Prediction of Unsteady Turbulent Flow over a Square Cylinder using Two-Equation Turbulence Models (2-방정식 난류모델을 이용한 정사각주 주위 비정상 난류 유동의 예측)

  • 비유선형의 물체 주위의 유동은 정체유동, 경계층 박리 및 주기적 와열 생성 등의 복잡한 유동현상이 공존한다. 본 연구에서는 비교적 단순한 형상인 정사각주 주위의 비정상 난류 유동을 2-방정식 와점성 난류모델인 표준 $k-{\varepsilon}$ 모델과 RNG $k-{\varepsilon}$ 모델을 이용하여 예측할 수 있는지를 검증하였다. 정교하게 수행된 최근의 실험과 대와류모사(LES)의 결과를 검증을 위한 비교의 자료로 삼았다. 적절한 난류모델의 선정과 더불어 시간 정확도, 공간 정확도 및 대류항 처리법 등이 해석결과에 미치는 영향도 살펴보았다. 기존의 표준 $k-{\varepsilon}$모델은 정체점 부근에서 난류 운동에너지를 과도하게 생성하는 근본적인 문제점 때문에 실험 및 LES의 결과를 제대로 예측할 수 없었다. 난류운동에너지의 초과 예측에 따른 운동량의 과도한 혼합으로 인해, 항력계수 및 양력계수의 비정상성 뿐 아니라 평균 항력계수도 부정확하게 예측하였다. RNG $k-{\varepsilon}$ 모델을 사용한 경우에는 정체점 주위 유동현상의 예측이 상당히 향상되어 항력계수 및 양력계수의 평균치, 진폭 및 비정상성의 주기 등을 정확하게 예측하는 것이 가능하였다. 그러나 이 경우에도 예측의 정확도가 시간 증분과 격자의 크기 및 대류항 처리법등에 영향을 받으며, 특별히 대류항 처리법에 상당히 민감하게 변하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 향상된 유동예측은 RNG $k-{\varepsilon}$ 모델의 난류에너지 소산율 방정식의 개선된 항이 과도하게 생성된 난류에너지를 정체점 부근에서 제거하기 때문에 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.의 20세 이하 골절 및 탈구가$30.3\%까지 감소하게되어 년도가 증가함에 따라 청장년 층에 비하여 소아골절 및 탈구가 전체적으로 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 스키골절의 부위별 발생빈도는 1990년 이전까지 하지골절 및 탈구가 많았으나 이후 점차 상지의 골절 탈구가 증가하였다 하지에서 가장 많은 골절은 경골 골절이었으며, 경골골절은 회전력에 의한 나선형골절이 $76.5\%로 가장 많았고 년도에 따른 변화는 보이지 않았다. 스키손상의 발생빈도는 초기에 비하여 점차 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, 손상의 특성도 부위별, 연령별로 다양한 변화를 나타내었다.해가능성을 가진 균이 상당수 검출되므로 원료의 수송, 김치의 제조 및 유통과정에서 병원균에 대한 오염방지에 유의하여야 할 것이다. 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 결과에 의하면 고농도의 유기물이 함유된 음식물쓰레기는 Hybrid Anaerobic Reactor (HAR)를 이용하여 HRT 30일 정도에서 충분히 직접 혐기성처리가 가능하며, 이때 발생된 $CH_{4}$를 회수하여 이용하면 대체에너지원으로 활용 가치가 높은 것으로 판단된다./207), $99.2\%$(238/240), $98.5\%$(133/135) 및 $100\%$ (313)였다. 각각 두 개의 요골동맥과 우내흉동맥에서 부분협착이나 경쟁혈류가 관찰되었다. 결론: 동맥 도관만을 이용한 Off pump CABG를 시행하여 감염의 위험성을 증가시키지 않으면서 영구적인 신경학적 합병증을 일으키지 않았고 좋은 혈관 개존율을 보여주었다. 따라서 동맥 도관을 이용한 Off pump CABG는 관상동맥의 협착의 정도에 따라 효율적으로 시행

국방과학기술 정책을 통한 WTO에 대한 대응방안에 관한 연구

  • 한 국가의 과학기술 수준은 그 국가의 현재와 미래를 짐작케 하는 가장 중요한 척도라고 해도 과언은 아니다. 이에 따라 각국은 기술발전을 기하기 위하여 다양한 과학기술 정책을 펴고 있으며, 이러한 정책의 성패 여부는 국가의 과학기술 수준 뿐 아니라 국가의 미래에 지대한 영향을 미치게 된다. 그러나 세계무역기구(WTO)의 출범에 따라 기존의 과학기술 정책에 대폭적인 수정이 불가피하게 되었다. WTO는 공정한 무역질서의 회복을 위한 제반 규율을 대폭 강화하고 있으며, 여기에는 과학기술 정책과 관련한 부분들도 많이 포함되어 있다. 이로 인해 기존의 과학기술 정책에 대폭적인 방향수정이 요구되었고, 각 관련기관에서는 이에 대한 다양한 대응책들을 제시하고 있으나, 이러한 대응책들은 주로 민간 분야와 관련한 것이어서 미흡한 감이 있다. 이는 민간 분야에 파급효과가 지대한 것으로 알려지고 있는 국방과학기술에 대한 정책이 고려되지 않았기 때문이다. 사실 선진국에서는 국방과학기술분야에의 투자를 통해 많은 효과를 얻고 있다. 또한 국방 분야에 대한 문제는 WTO 체제에서 예외로 인정하고 있어, 새로운 환경에 대한 좋은 대응책이 될 수 있다. 그러므로 국방과학기술 정책에 대한 고려가 없는 과학기술 정책은 완전한 정책이라고 할 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 WTO의 출범에 대한 대응방안으로서 국방과학기술 정책의 효율적인 집행을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 우선 WTO의 성격과 WTO 출범으로 야기되는 과학기술 정책및 특히 국방과학기술 정책의 운용시의 변화요인들을 조사하였다. 또한, 국방과학기술 정책의 파급효과를 조사하였으며, 일곱 가지 사용가능한 국방과학기술 정책 대안들을 식별하였다. 또한 식별된 정책 대안들간의 비교를 통하여 효율적인 국방과학기술 정책 방안을 제시하였다.. 문제점들은 HED (Human Engineerign Discrepance) 목록으로 정리하여 설계에 반영하도록 하였다.로 마음의 안정감, 몸의 긴장 이완에 따른 건강 상태 유지, 수업 집중도 향상 등이 나타났다. 위와 같은 종합 적 분석 결과에 따라, 본 연구는 제조 현장의 생산성 향상 및 품질 향상과 연계하여 작업자의 작업 집중도 향상, 작업자의 육체적, 심리적 변화에 따른 생산성 및 품질 향상 변화 정도 등의 산업공학(인간공학) 제 분야의 여러 측면에서 연구 및 적용이 가능하리라 사료된다.l, 시험군:25.90$\pm$7.16mg/d1, 47% 감소)를 나타내었으며, 시험군의 AUC는 대조군에 비해 39% 감소하였고, 혈중 아세트알데히드의 농도는 투여 60분후 시험군(3.96$\pm$0.07nmo1/$m\ell$)이 대조군(6.45$\pm$0,64nmo1/$m\ell$)에 비해 유의성 있는 감소(39%)를 나타내었으며, 시험군의 AUC는 대조군에 비해 48% 감소하였다 한편, 시험관내 에탄올 대사 효소에 대한 바이오짐의 효과를 검색해본 결과 바이오짐(2.0 $\mu\textrm{g}$/assay)에 의해 Aldehyde dehydrogenase(1.5unit/assay)의 활성이 14% 증가되었다. 본 연구의 결과로 볼 때, 비지니스 및 바이오짐은 음주 후 상승된 혈중 에탄을 농도 및 아세트알데히드의 농도를 현저히 감소시키는 효과가 있었다.량 보호 관리, 도시 소공원 개발, 역사 문화 공원 조성, 하천 공간 복원, 공원 시설 기능 개선, 이용 프로그램 개발, 공원 관리 개선, 환경 피해 녹지의 회복, 도시 환경 림 조성, 녹지

  • There are three forms of REITs company in Korea that was first introduced in 2002. Each REITs have been listed on the KRX, its characteristics are different, but it is classified as a REITs company in all events. REITs current methods are applied uniformly manner that does not reflect the characteristics of the individual. REITs some, that is not seen unlike legislative intent, it is delisted, such as generating an investment loss of investors. In this study it is an object of the invention from the point of view of REITs business validity, to draw up operational support aggressive plans of the scheme. By improving the PF assesment system, to improve the relevance of REIT business and presenting policy direction to the activation of REITs. Through the sophistication of real estate finance utilizing REITs, policy for proper investment of general investors REITs funds were listed with the smooth flow must be realized. The results of this study, it can be utilized as basic data for policy to reflect the real estate policy for activation of the indirect financial investments.

Conservation and Status of Waterbirds on Sihwa Reclaimed Area (시화간척지에 도래하는 물새류 현황 및 보전 방안)

  • This study was carried out on Sihwa reclaimed area from January to December in 2003. We observed total 169,351 individuals of 70 species(22 species of waders, 9 species of egrets and 5 species of gulls). Waterbird population was the largest in March(95,465 individuals) and was the smallest from April to June(less than 7,000 individuals). The most dominant species was Pintail(Anas acuta: 58,627 individuals, 34.6%) and other species were Mallards(Anas platyrhynchos: 24.5%), Common Pochards(Aythya ferina: 13.8%), Black-tailed Gulls(Larus crassirostris: 6.1%), Spotbill Ducks(Anas poecilorhyncha: 5.0%) and Greater Scaups(Aythya marila: 2.69%). Sihwa reclaimed area supported many kinds of protected species such as Chinese egrets(Egretta eulophotes), Black-faced Spoonbills(Platalea minor), Eurasian Spoonbills(Platalea leucorodia), Mute Swans(Cygnus olor), Whooper Swans(Cygnus cygnus), and Eurasian Oystercatchers(Haematopus ostralegus). They foraged at waterside of Sihwa lake and rested at reclaimed area. Particularly, Eurasian Oystercatchers bred in habitats with Salicornia herbacea and Suaeda japonica. Reclamation of mud flats and construction of roads, transmission towers and tide embankments disturbed waterbirds in breeding and foraging. We suggest that waterbirds are protected in different action plans according to their status such as breeding, passaging and wintering birds. Maintaining of waterside and swamps in Sihwa reclaimed area will be useful for breeding waterbirds. It is needed to make a protect zone for ecological connecting belt from Oeji isarea, Hyeong isarea, Eum isarea to upper channel on Sihwa lake.

Comparison of the Characteristics of Mix Design and the Performance of Shotcrete Used in Expressway Tunnel Construction Sites (고속도로 터널 숏크리트 현장배합 특성 및 성능 비교 연구)

  • Even though shotcrete is a main support for securing the stability of tunnel, the performance of shotcrete is not properly checked due to various difficulties arisen from the characteristics of materials themselves which constitute shotcrete, such as steel fibers and accelerators, and the on-site quality control. In this study, the actual conditions of shotcrete applied to expressway tunnel construction sites were tried to find out, and then some improvement was tried to derive. For this purpose, the characteristics of steel fibers and accelerators supplied to the expressway construction sites were investigated. Also, shotcrete specimens were prepared at the tunnel sites and performance tests were carried out. For steel fiber, domestic production states were investigated, and carbon content and tensile strength were measured using the steel fibers collected in the construction sites. For three types of accelerators such as aluminate, cement mineral and alkali-free, basic properties and total amount of alkali contents were analyzed. Shotcrete specimens were prepared using on-site shotcrete machine with regard to mix designs and types of accelerators. Using these specimens, uniaxial compression tests and flexural tests were performed. As the results, compressive strength, flexural strength, flexural toughness, and etc. were compared with types of acclerators and mix designs.

Eutrophication and Seasonal Variation of Water Quality in Masan-Jinhae Bay (마산-진해만의 수질 부영양화 및 계절 변동)

  • Water quality of Masan-Jinhae Bay was monitored from January 1996 to August 1997. The monitoring focused on the spatial and vertical gradients and seasonal changes of eutrophication parameters such as nutrients, DO and water transparency. Flagellate phytoplanktons persistently bloomed from April to October with monospecific or mixed algal blooms and dynamic algal successions were observed in this area. Algal blooms were highly correlated with salinity drops and made the water less transparent. Stratification of oxygen content was persistent through summer and oligo-oxygenation was developed in the bottom waters. Nutrient gradients were consistently maintained through the depth in summer and through spatial distribution from inner Masan Bay to outer Jinhae Bay in winter. Except the rainfall seasons, water quality was under the influence of the waste waters discharged from watershed around the Masan Bay. The waste waters would act as the primary factor for the water quality deterioration of the bay. Literature data for eutrophication were gathered and analyzed to review the water quality trends of the Masan and Jinhae bays since 1970. Annual mean COD and phosphate concentration consistently increased from 1975 to 1990 and decreased or dropped after 1991. The sediment of inner part of Masan Bay was dredged from 1991 to 1994 as a decontamination process and it is assumed that the dredging has weakened more or less the deterioration trend of the water quality of the bay.

Temporal and Spatial Analysis of Flowrate and Water Quality of Major Tributaries for Implementation of TMDL in Sapgyo-reservoir Watershed at Chungcheongnam-do (충청남도 삽교호수계 수질오염총량관리제 시행을 위한 주요하천 유량 및 수질의 시.공간적 특성 분석)

  • The major tributaries in Sapgyo-reservoir watershed at Chungcheongnam-do were monitored for flowrate and water quality in order to analyze the characteristics of watershed and to prepare for implementation of total maximum daily load (TMDL). According to the analytical results of flowrate and water quality monitoring data of sixteen tributaries, the tributaries with the value of flowrate over $0.5m^3/s$ were 62.5% among the monitored tributaries and the value of flowrate in the Cheonancheon, Namwoncheon, Shinyangcheon except Gokgyocheon, Muhancheon, Sapgyocheon was relatively greater than the other tributaries. However, 37.5% of the tributaries were exceeded the water quality standards of Sapgyocheon sub-basin ($BOD_5$ 5 mg/L and/or below) and the concentration of water pollutants regardless of water quality parameters in Cheonancheon, Maegokcheon, Oncheoncheon including Gokgyocheon located in Gokgyocheon catchment were relatively higher than the other tributaries. The tributaries for improving the water quality, according to stream grouping method based on the results of flowrate and water quality monitoring data, were selected. In the Sapgyo-reservoir watershed, the tributaries for improving water quality, which has a large flowrate and a high concentration of water pollutants, were selected at Cheonancheon, Gokgyocheon, Maegokcheon, Namwoncheon, Oncheoncheon. The various water quality improving plans for those tributaries, in accordance with the reduction of point source pollution by population and livestock, should be established and implemented.
