Improved Neural Network-Based Self-Tuning fuzzy PID Controller for Induction Motor Speed Control (유도전동기 속도제어를 위한 개선된 신경회로망 기반 자기동조 퍼지 PID 제어기 설계)

  • This paper presents a neural network based self-tuning fuzzy PID control scheme with variable learning rate for induction motor speed control. When induction motor is continuously used long time, its electrical and mechanical Parameters will change, which degrade the Performance of PID controller considerably. This Paper re-analyzes the fuzzy controller as conventional PID controller structure, introduces a single neuron with a back-propagation learning algorithm to tune the control parameters, and proposes a variable learning rate to improve the control performance. Proposed scheme is simple in structure and computational burden is small. The simulation using Matlab/Simulink and the experiment using dSPACE(DS1102) board are performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

  • In the System-integrated modular advanced reactor(SMART), the motor for Control element drive mechanism(CEDM) requires high density power and simple drive mechanism to reduce volume because of restriction by install-space and must satisfy the reactor operating circumstances with high pressure and temperature. To Maximize the characteristics of the TFM, we chose the asymmetric bridge converter as the driving system for TFM. Because two switching devices are connected in series with the stator winding of each phases in the asymmetric bridge converter all the phases are not affected by another phase but controlled independently. Also, this converter has many advantages that the various control methods can be adopted, it is easy to control, and that in case that the switching devices of a phase are damaged, the affects can be minimized.

  • A propulsion system apparatus for railroad vehicle is estimated it's performance because of safety and confidence. In general, flywheel type testing method is widely used in the equipment. However, mechanical inertia generated by the flywheel can not be varied (or controlled) and can not be represent actual running resistance. In this study, we have focused on the development of variable vehicle load generation. Therefore, we have proposed the method which uses variable vehicle load controlled by vector motor to get the characteristics of the real vehicle load and confirmed the results with those of computer simulations.

  • 현재, 선박용 로프제조에서 로프의 제조 공정은 수작업에 의해 행해지고 있어 작업의 효율화와 품질의 균질화를 위해서 최적의 장력제어가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 와이어 로프 제조공정의 자동화이고 로프의 제조 공정에서 장치는 로프를 릴에 감아 올릴 필요성은 거의 없기 때문에 케이블을 풀어주는 속도와 로드셀에 의해 장력을 검출하고 장력을 발생하는 하드웨어 구성방법을 연구하는 것이다. 본 연구는 현수형 와이어 로프(Catenary Rope)의 동적 모델링을 작성한다. 이 시스템에 대하여 교류서보 전동기를 이용한 장력 발생장치를 모델링한다. 현수형 시스템의 장력 계측 장치는 하중 변환기(load cell)를 사용하고 수학적 모델링을 행한다. 장력 계측 장치에 관해서 스프링 저울을 이용해 출력을 비교 검토한 결과, 인장력을 계측하는 장치로서의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • A robust position control scheme for a Brushless Direct Drive Motor(BLDDM) is presented. To obtain the robustness under the load variation, a Variable Structure Controller(VSC) is used. However, the VSC has a chattering problem and require the full state informations. To overcome this problem, in this paper, the sliding mode observer is used for compensating the load disturbance and estimating the motor velocity. As a result, the VSC for a BLDDM posision control is designed by using only position measurment and the chattering problem is greatly reduced. To show the validaty of the proposed scheme, the simulation study is carried out.

  • In order to perform the group control of motor drive systems in such as steel process line, high performance communication system is indispensible. In this paper, we introduce newly developed communication system which is suitable for these group control application. Using HDLC protocol, this system can transfer data to a long distance(up to 1km) at high speed(1Mbps) with reliability and efficiency. The performance of this communication system was proven through the application to the group control of DAEKYOUNG Bar Mill Line.

  • 산업용 인버터는 운전상황에 따라 캐리어 주파수와 부하전류가 변하게 되며, 이 때 제어기 내부 회로 소자의 Propagation 지연에 따른 Dead Time의 왜곡 그리고 출력전류크기에 따른 전략소자 내부의 전압강하 등에 의해 전압의 왜곡이 발생하여 전동기 토크진동의 원인이 된다. 이를 방지하기 위하여 상황에 따라 출력전압을 보상해야 한다. 특히 전략소자의 전압강하는 전류의 크기에 따라 변하므로 캐리어 주파수에 의한 보상뿐만 아니라 부하전류의 크기에 따른 출력전압을 보상해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 캐리어 주파수 변화에 따른 전압보상량을 기준으로 출력전류 크기에 따른 보상방법 중 비선형적으로 변하는 저전류 영역에서의 전력소자 진압 강하량을 개선하는 보상방법을 제시하였고, 그 유효성을 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

  • This paper presents a PI controller tuning method for high performance permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives under load variations using clustering fuzzy algorithm. In many speed tracking control systems PI controller has been used due to its simple structure and easy of design. PI controller, however, suffers from the electrical machine parameter variations and disturbances. In order to improve the tracking control performance under load variations, the PI controller parameters are modified during operation by clustering fuzzy method. This method based on optimal fuzzy logic system has simple structure and computational simplicity. It needs only sample data which is obtained by optimal controller off-line. As the sample data implemented in the adaptive fuzzy system can be modified or extended, a flexible control system can be obtained Simulation results show the usefulness of the proposed controller.

  • 본 논문은 가압펌프용 전동기에 대한 기동방법을 정류소자(Soft starter)에 의한 기동전류 제어방식을 채택하고 있는 수도사업장에서 한전 수전에 의한 펌프모터 기동시에는 원활하게 운전이 가능하였으나 비상용 디젤발전기 부하운전에서 펌프모터를 기동하는데 실패함에 따라 상이한 전력공급계통으로부터 펌프모터 기동시 콘덴서의 특이현상과 고조파의 영향에 따른 모터 기동특성을 비교분석한 사례를 중심으로 연구되었다.

  • This paper presents the modeling method of $3{\Phi}$ phase-controlled rectifier considering the overlap interval for the drive of DC motor in the Matlab environment. The model is constructed by the module-based method and therefore it is appropriate in the research of the closed-loop controlled power electronic system in the Matlab/Simulink environment. The model of SCR is used as the element for the power transformation. The simulation results show that the overlap interval from the effect of the input inductance is accurate.
