Experimental Study on Flow Noise Generated by Axi-symmetric Boundary Layer (II) - Forced Transition on an Axi-symmetric Nose and Radiated Sound - (축대칭 물체의 경계층 유동소음에 대한 실험적 연구(II) - 전두부 천이제어 및 방사소음 -)

  • The oscillatory excitation with a Strouhal number of 2.65 ncar the stagnation zone of hemispherical nose model was employed to control the laminar separation bubble and the transition to turbulence. The effects of oscillatory excitation upon the separation bubble and the transition were addressed in terms of kurtosis/skewness and time-frequency analyses. The measured noise spectrum of radiated sound from the turbulent boundary layer on the axi-symmetric infinite cylinder is compared with that by Sevik's wave-number white approximations. The noise sources in TBL on axi-symmetric cylinder and the caling of their far-field sound are also discussed.

  • 일반적으로 위성에 장착된 GPS 수신기는 GPS 위성으로부터 창법 신호를 받아서 위성의 위치, 시간 및 속도 정보를 제공하는 것을 주요 목적으로 하고 있다. 또한 GPS 수신기에서 나오는 1pps 신호를 이용하여 위성체 각 프로세서의 기준시간으로 사용되어진다. 아리랑 위성2호에서는 3개의 프로세서가 탑재되며, 각 프로세서는 원격 측정 명령계. 자세 제어계 그리고 전력계 기능을 담당한다. 3개의 프로세서간의 내부 및 GPS에 동기 시키기 위하여 FEP와 DPLL을 통한 동기화 방식을 사용하며, 위성탑재 소프트웨어에 의한 제어를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 아리랑 위성2호에 동기화 방식과 향상된 1Hz Sync 구조에 대하여 설명한다.

  • 거리가 상당히 먼 곳에서 고가의 장비를 사용하기 위해서는 사용할 연구 인력이 직접 와야 하는 많은 시간적 비용적 문제가 발생한다. 특히 본원에 장비되어 있는 초고전압 투과전자현미경(High Voltage Electron Microscopy - 이하 HVEM)의 경우 고가의 장비로 지역마다 기기를 구비할 수 없어 사용자는 직접 장비가 있는 연구실까지 와서 사용해야 한다. HVEM은 1천만 배율의 성능을 가진 국내 유일은 물론 전 세계적으로도 손꼽히는 고성능의 투과전자현미경으로 NT(Nano Technology), BT(Bio Technology) 연구에 있어서 핵심적인 역할을 하는 청단 연구기기이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 그리드 컴퓨터 기술을 이용하여 HVEM을 원격제어 하는 시스템을 구축하였다.

  • In this paper we researched on the implementation of the B-ISDN protocol embedded IP-PBX System with the computers interconnected by the Internet for the telephone exchange and multimedia communication. For the improvement on the structural problems of the previous PABX we designed the structure of the IP-PBX System, defined message and data structure for call control, designed call control state transition, and implemented call control message flows for user's communication.

  • This paper describes the developments to improve the feeling and safety of the remote control system of unmanned vehicles. Generally, in the case of the remote control systems, a joystick-type device or a simple steering-wheel are used. There are many cases, in which there are operations without considering the feedback to users and driving feel. Recently, as the application area of the unmanned vehicles has been extended, the problems caused by not considering the feedback are emphasized. Therefore, the need for a force feedback-haptic control arises to solve these problems. In this study, the force feedback-haptic control algorithm considering the vehicle parameters is proposed. The vehicle parameters include first the state variables of dynamics, such as the body side-slip angle (${\beta}$) and yawrate (${\gamma}$), and second, the parameters representing the driving situations. Force feedback-haptic control technology consists of the algorithms for general and specific situations, and considers the situation transition process. To verify the algorithms, a simulator was constructed using the vehicle dynamics simulation tool with CAN communication environment. Using the simulator, the feasibility of the algorithms was verified in various scenarios.

  • An MMIC multi-function chip for an X-band active phased array radar system has been designed and fabricated using a 0.5 ${\mu}m$ GaAs p-HEMT commercial process. A digital serial-to-parallel converter is included in this chip in order to reduce the number of the control interface. The multi-function chip provides several functions: 6-bit phase shifting, 6-bit attenuation, transmit/receive switching, and signal amplification. The fabricated multi-function chip with a relative compact size of 24 $mm^2$(6 mm${\times}$4 mm) exhibits a transmit/receive gain of 24/15 dB and a P1dB of 21 dBm from 8.5 GHz to 10.5 GHz. The RMS errors for the 64 states of the 6-bit phase shift and attenuation were measured to $7^{\circ}$ and 0.3 dB, respectively over the frequency.

Transmission System of TDM signal based on E-PON (E-PON 기반 TDM 신호 전송 시스템)

  • This paper addresses the system development that can transfer data and TDM signals simultaneously by adding TDM pseudowires functions to E-PON system. E-PON technology is one of many technologies which can realize FTTH, has raised as next generation access network solution having both low-cost Ethernet technology and optical infrastructure. TDM pseudowires service is the new voice/data conversion technology which can transfer the existing TDM circuit switched voice and data over packet switching network. In this paper, this system can provide both data and TDM service without deteriorating QoS by adding TDM pseudowires service module to E-PON, and then implementing QoS control function. Therefore, the competitive system which can transfer both data and TDM signal, can be installed.

Formation of Thin $CoSi_2$by Layer Inversion of Co/Nb bi-layer (Co/Nb 이중층 구조의 막역전을 이용한 박막 $CoSi_2$의 형성)

  • Thin $700^{\circ}C$films were formed through layer inversion of Co/Nb bilayer during rapid thermal annealing(RTA). The Nb interlayer seems to effectively prevent over-consumption of Si and to control the silicidation reaction by forming Co-Nb intermetallic compounds and removing the native oxide formed on Si substrate which interferes the uniform Co-Si interaction. The final layer structure of the Co/Nb bilayer after $700^{\circ}C$ RTA was found to be ${Nb}_{2}{O}_{3}$/${Co}_{2}$Si.CoSi/${NbCo}_{x}$/Nb(O, C)/${CoSi}_{2}$/ Si. The layer inversion and the formation of a stable CoSi, phase occurred above $700^{\circ}C$, and the Nb silicides were not found at any annealing temperature. These may be due to the formation of very stable Co-Nb intermetallic compounds and Nb oxides which limit the moving of Co and Si.
