Statistical Effective Interval Determination and Reliability Assessment of Input Variables Under Aleatory Uncertainties (물리적 불확실성을 내재한 입력변수의 확률 통계 기반 유효 범위 결정 방법 및 신뢰성 평가)

  • Data points obtained by conducting repetitive experiments under identical environmental conditions are, theoretically, required to correspond. However, experimental data often display variations due to generated errors or noise resulting from various factors and inherent uncertainties. In this study, an algorithm aiming to determine valid bounds of input variables, representing uncertainties, was developed using probabilistic and statistical methods. Furthermore, a reliability assessment was performed to verify and validate applications of this algorithm using bolt-fastening friction coefficient data in a sample application.

  • The turbine flowmeter is selected for high precision and reproducibility at the time of flow rate measurement but causes various uncertainty factors of measurement in the difference between the standard environmental condition at calibration and the environmental condition at the site. Also, a reliable interpolation method is required for use in sections other than calibrated measurement values. Therefore, in this paper, in order to improve the reliability of the flow rate measurement, we designed and manufactured a device that accurately measures the output signal of the turbine flowmeter, interpolates the value of the calibrated result value, and corrects the temperature change in real time We confirmed the reliability of the measurement at the site to carry out the performance verification.

  • 본 연구는 하수처리장 운영시스템 자료를 활용하여, 머신러닝 기반의 예측 모델을 개발하고, 모델 정확도 향상에 대하여 검토하였다. 하수처리장에 설치된 각종 센서를 통해 실시간으로 자료가 모니터링되고 있으며, 수집된 자료는 운영시스템에 저장된다. 하수처리장 시스템은 설정된 값과 센서의 측정값을 비교해 이상치가 발생하면 운영자가 즉각적으로 조치하여 문제를 해결하고 있으나, 비정상적인 상황 발생시 이를 대처할 시간이 부족하여 적절한 조치가 이루어지지 못하는 경우가 발생 되고 있다. 따라서, 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 A 하수처리장 운영자료를 활용하여 결과 예측이 신속하고 신뢰도 높은 머신러닝 기반의 예측 모델을 개발하고자 하였다. 모델의 예측 정확도 및 신뢰성을 향상하기 위하여 결과에 영향을 미치는 주요 영향 인자를 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 모델의 추가 분석 및 개선을 수행하여 모델의 예측력을 평가하였다. 금회 연구는 데이터 전처리를 과정을 통한 인사이트를 도출하고 이를 활용하여 하수처리장 운영자료 예측 정확도를 높일 수 있었으며, 이 결과를 바탕으로 다른 하수처리장의 모델 개발시에도 유용하게 활용이 가능할 것으로 검토되었다.

Repeatability Assessment of Autorefractor and Accuracy Analysis of Refraction Measurements by Fourier Analysis (자동굴절검사기의 신뢰성 평가 및 Fourier analysis에 의한 정확도 분석)

  • Purpose: We have evaluated both the reliability and accuracy of refractive measurement from autorefractor by comparing with subjective refraction data. Methods: Measurements of refractive error were performed on 198 eyes of 99 subjects in noncycloplegic condition. Also we analyzed refraction results and evaluated repeatability and accuracy of subjective refraction and autorefraction. Furthermore we analyzed accuracy of autorefractor by Fourier analysis. Results: Reliability coefficient of the autorefraction for the right eye were determined to by 0.993, 0.974 and 0.925 respectively, in the spherical, cylinderical component and cylinderical Axis. Also, the reliability coefficient of the autorefraction for the left eye were found to be 0.991, 0.948 and 0.886, respectively, in the spherical, cylinderical component and cylinderical Axis. From the Fourier analysis no statistically significant differences in $J_{0}$ component were found between the auto and subjective refraction measurements (p>0.05) whereas difference of refractive power of $J_{45}$ component when compared with the subjective refraction were -0.019, -0.164. Conclusions: We conclude that autorefractormeter can be effectively used to measure the refractive power within the error limits.

A simulation study for the approximate confidence intervals of hypergeometric parameter by using actual coverage probability (실제포함확률을 이용한 초기하분포 모수의 근사신뢰구간 추정에 관한 모의실험 연구)

  • In this paper, properties of exact confidence interval and some approximate confidence intervals of hyper-geometric parameter, that is the probability of success p in the population is discussed. Usually, binomial distribution is a well known discrete distribution with abundant usage. Hypergeometric distribution frequently replaces a binomial distribution when it is desirable to make allowance for the finiteness of the population size. For example, an application of the hypergeometric distribution arises in describing a probability model for the number of children attacked by an infectious disease, when a fixed number of them are exposed to it. Exact confidence interval estimation of hypergeometric parameter is reviewed. We consider the approximation of hypergeometirc distribution to the binomial and normal distribution respectively. Approximate confidence intervals based on these approximation are also adequately discussed. The performance of exact confidence interval estimates and approximate confidence intervals of hypergeometric parameter is compared in terms of actual coverage probability by small sample Monte Carlo simulation.

  • This paper proposes a reliable high-precision positioning system that converges a satellite navigation system and a vision system in order to resolve position errors and outdoor shaded areas, two disadvantages of a satellite navigation system. In kinematic point positioning, the number of available satellite navigation systems changes in accordance with a moving object's position. For location determination of the object, it should receive location data from at least four satellite navigation systems. However, in urban areas, exact location determination is difficult due to factors like high buildings, obstacles, and reflected waves. In order to deal with the above problem, a vision system was employed. First, determine an exact position value of a specific building in urban areas whose environment is poor for a satellite navigation. Then, identify such building by a vision system and its position error is corrected using such building. A moving object can identify such specific building using a vision system while moving, make location data values, and revise location calculations, thereby resulting in reliable high precision location determination.

  • While numerous information services are provided on the Web as a core infrastructure of information society, semantic services using the Semantic Web technologies still stay deployed number and application range. This situation would be mainly originated from the failure of securing reliability to the user. Thus, this paper introduces an evaluation method for measuring reliabilities of the semantic services comparatively. To measure the reliability of the compared systems, the observer assesses 'precision in task performance' as a quantitative analysis and 'reliability of expectation-result' as a qualitative analysis described by the test persons. On the other hand, the test person should rate the functional reliability and reliability of the served information on the vector graph by himself with a scale from 0 to 5. Experimental results show that assessment by the observer is very similar to rating value by test persons, and that the accuracy of the served information has a close effect on the functional reliability. Through this paper, we can verify the essential factors for evaluating the reliability of semantic service systems. These are functional reliability and reliability of served information resulting from function execution. In particular, it has been proven that the reliability of the semantic information services largely influences the "Quality in Use" and therefore determines the major factors of the semantic service reliability.

  • More efforts are required to efficiently operate and manage measured data in AMR(Automatic Meter Reading) and manual meter reading that have not become com:[m yet. As customer complaints increase the most appropriate way of finding solutions is precise and reliable metering of data which should be able to maximize customer satisfactions. In this parer, we designed a data mining technique that recommended the reliability of measured data on manual meter reading and a mCRM(Mobile CRM) system that expanded CRM(Customer Relationship Management). We will propose a mCRM in which the system compares the patterns of customer's using data. W the measured data gathered is outside of a similarity measure(maximum and minimum), it enhances the reliability of measured data by managing this fact in mobile for each customers. We will proposed a system where the mCRM provides customers with reliability and efficiency when related enterprises cannot establish AMR because of the burden of extra costs.

  • 계량데이터 관리 시스템은 수용가에서 검침된 계량데이터를 수집하고 관리하는 시스템이다. 이 시스템에는 검침된 데이터의 오검침과 유효성을 판단하는 검증과 누락된 검침값이나 오검침으로 판단된 구간값을 추정하는 VEE 알고리즘이 있다. 그러나 기존의 VEE 알고리즘은 현장 데이터의 특성을 반영하지 않고 검증하고 추정하기 때문에 그만큼 신뢰성과 정확도가 낮아지는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 검증 신뢰성과 추정 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있는 차세대 VEE 알고리즘을 제안한다.

(System Development of Precision Vision Measurement Compensated for the Ambient Temperature) (주위온도를 보상한 정밀 영상 자동 측정 시스템 개발)

  • 정밀을 요하는 자동차 부품의 측정 시스템은 온도에 따른 보상이 필수적이다. 부품의 측정값의 신뢰도를 유지하기 위해서 단순히 제품의 합격 영역을 상온에서 51.786~51.819mm로 했을 때, 온도가 상온에서 떨어져 있는 경우 그 부품의 측정영역을 신뢰하기가 어려워진다. 본 논문에서는 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 2개의 카메라를 사용하여 한쪽은 표준 제품을 두고, 다른 쪽은 실제 제품을 두므로서 온도에 따라 달라지는 표준 제품의 측정값의 Offset를 실제 제품에 반영하므로 측정값을 보상하려고 하였다. 자동차의 부품은 여러 가지가 있으나, 이 중에서 현재 공장에서 측정에 어려움을 겪고 있는 에어콘 스윗치인 마그네트 코일 하우징을 대상으로 하였다. 특히 측정 대상이 크고, 카메라의 화소수가 40만 이하일 경우, 측정의 중요한 포인트는 화소수이기 때문에 이를 정확히 알아 내는데, FCM(Fuzzy C-means) 알고리듬이 좋은 결과를 주지만 속성 공간에서 유사성만을 고려하고, 공간영역에서 유사성을 고려되지 않기 때문에 FCM은 \"equal evidence\"와 \"ignorance\"를 구분하지 못한다. 이를 개선하기 위해서 FCM를 수정하여 먼저 FCM로 처리하고 하고 이를 바탕으로 PCM(Possibilistic C-means)를 사용하였다. 결과를 모니터에 보여주고, RSC-232 포트를 통하여 신호를 마이크로프로세서에 전달하여 제품의 양호(good), 불량(bad)을 판별하는 신호를 발생하게 하였다.을 판별하는 신호를 발생하게 하였다.
