Improvement of Connector Performance Using Analysis of Characteristic Impedance (특성임피던스 분석을 사용한 커넥터 성능향상)

  • The signal transmission properties of the connector such as insertion loss and return loss are investigated using analysis procedure of S-parameter simulation, equivalent model extraction, and characteristic impedance calculation. S-parameter simulation is performed by connector's modeling and solving based on 3-dimensional finite element method. The connector's equivalent model of ${\pi}$ type is are proposed and extracted with an optimization process of circuit analysis simulator. The characteristic impedance of the connector is calculated with results of circuit analysis simulation and S-parameter data. According to the connector's characteristic impedance, it's revised design is carried out. In this work, the connector's effective contact area is increased and its body is applied as a high dielectric material in order to increase its capacitance and then obtain impedance matching. Therefore, return loss of the connector is improved by approximately 10 dB due to its design revision.

Analysis of the Simon effect using Amplitude of RTA-ERP and Response time (응답속도정합-유발전위의 진폭과 응답 속도를 이용한 사이먼효과 분석)

  • In this paper, the RTA-ERP(Response Time Aligned-Evoked Relative Potential) was modelled to analyze the effect of motor activation pattern in response to visual sensory stimuli. Simon effect was analysed using the amplitude response of RTA-ERP and measured response time. The 'odd number' experiments, which identify an odd number mixed with same numbers, was performed with 15 healthy adult participants(9 males and 6 females, whose mean age of 31) for 7 minutes for each participant. Throughout experimentation, we observed that the proposed RTA-ERP can compensate the timing variation due to different neural processing procedures in the brain, and shows enhanced LRP(Lateralized Readiness Potential) and Pe(Error Related Positivity). Regarding to 'congruence' and 'incongruence' testing patterns, the amplitude of RTA-ERP and the response time for the 'congruence' are $0.03{\mu}V$ larger, and 43 ms faster than those for the 'incongruence', respectively. The amplitude characteristics of RTA-ERP, obtained by synchronizing the onset times with respect to response time, corresponds more likely to that of P300 in the ERP pattern (the characteristics of the Simon effect).

A Low Cost 3D Skin Wrinkle Reconstruction System Based on Stereo Semi-Dense Matching (반 밀집 정합에 기반한 저가형 3차원 주름 데이터 복원)

  • In the paper, we proposed a new system to retrieve 3D wrinkle data based on stereo images. Usually, 3D reconstruction based on stereo images or video is very popular and it is the research focus, which has been applied for culture heritage, building and other scene. The target is object measurement, the scene depth calculation and 3D data obtained. There are several challenges in our research. First, it is hard to take the full information wrinkle images by cameras because of light influence, skin with non-rigid object and camera performance. We design a particular computer vision system to take winkle images with a long length camera lens. Second, it is difficult to get the dense stereo data because of the hard skin texture image segmentation and corner detection. We focus on semi-dense stereo matching algorithm for the wrinkle depth. Compared with the 3D scanner, our system is much cheaper and compared with the physical modeling based method, our system is more flexible with high performance.

Location Correction Based on Map Information for Indoor Positioning Systems (지도 정보를 반영한 옥내 측위 보정 방안)

  • An indoor location-based service cannot be realized unless the indoor positioning problem is solved. However, the cost-effective indoor positioning systems are suffering from their inaccurateness. This paper proposes a map information-based correction method for the indoor positioning systems. Using our Kalman filter with map information-based appropriate parameter values, our method estimates the track of the moving object, then it performs the Frechet Distance-based map matching on the obtained track. After that it applies our real time correction method. In order to verify efficiency of our method, we also provide our test results.

  • The systematic variation of complex permeability and complex permittivity and their relationship with micro-wave absorbing properties are investigated in sintered Ni-Zn ferrites of non-stoichiometric composition. The specirrens of ${(Ni_{0.5}Zn_{0.5}O)}_{1-x}(Fe_{2}O_{3})_{1+x}$ spinels were prepared by a conventional ceramic processing technique. In the present study. complex permeability and permittivity can be controlled by the variation of ${\alpha}-Fe_{2}O_{3}$ contents in the spinel lattice. The primary effect of the excess ${\alpha}-Fe_{2}O_{3}$ is to increase the dielectric constant. while the notable decrease of magnetic loss is observed in the iron-deficient ferrites. The results suggest that the matching fre-queocyand matching thickness could be controlled by the variation of ${\alpha}-Fe_{2}O_{3}$ contents in the Ni-Zn ferrite.

  • 본 연구에서는 고속전력선통신(PLC)을 위한 고압배전선의 임피던스 측정 방법을 소개한다. 현재 전세계적으로 고속 PLC를 위해서 1MHz${\sim}$30MHz대역을 사용하고 있다. 임피던스 특성을 실제 필드에서 측정하기 위해 본 연구에서는 휴대용 고압결합장치를 개발하였다. 임의의 고압 배전선에 일시적으로 결합할 수 있도록 고안된 고압결합장치로서 살아있는 전력선에 정전 없이 설치 가능하다. 이 장치는 고압용 커풀러(Coupler)와 60Hz 저주파를 차단하기 위한 드레인 코일(drain coil)로 구성되었다. 측정을 위해서는 벡터 회로망 분석기를 사용하였으며, 본 논문에서는 측정된 고압선 임피던스를 보여 주고 이 결과를 이용한 임피던스 정합 방법을 제시하였다.

Improved Design Method of a EMI(Electro Magnetic Interference Noise for Wireless Video System in Vehicle (차량용 무선 비디오 시스템 내 EMI 노이즈 개선 방안)

  • In this paper, we analyzed various noise in the video stream system that have largely influence on EMI noise. We presented the remedy for these various noises and then designed the wireless video streaming system for a vehicle. To minimize EMI noise, we derived the improvement of noise characteristic from impedance matching, new design of the inner layer of the PCB line design and new design of high-speed data Interfaces. As a result, the final system showed 40[dBuV/m] and 47[dBuV/m] dB in the each regulation band.

  • Korea's Spatial Information Policy has been institutionalized based by "National Spatial Data Infrastructure Act", "Act on Land Survey, Waterway Survey and Cadastral Records", "Spatial Data Industry Promotion Act". In year 2015, These acts were modified with new names and contents. It is critical that the definition of spatial information ought to be generalized. In addition, it is of paramount importance to review factors those contribute to the systematic development on coherent relation between Spatial Information Act and other acts. Examples of improvement area may include: Categorization of Spatial Information Concept, Systematization of Spatial Data Related Legislation, and Enhancement of Organization Specializing in Spatial Information. Furthermore, Legislation & Policy case of Germany, France and the United States were used as a basis for improvement.

지역소득통계 개선방안에 대한 고찰

  • 지역소득통계는 경제${\cdot}$사회${\cdot}$복지의 종합적인 지역정책 수립을 위한 핵심 자료로 이용되고 있다. 지역소득통계의 수준을 보다 높이기 위해서는 현재 작성하고 있는 생산 및 지출측면의 지역소득통계 뿐만 아니라 분배측면의 소득에 대한 통계도 함께 조속히 작성되어야 한다. 국민소득통계는 한국은행에서 작성하고 있으나 16개 시도별 지역내총생산(GRDP)통계는 통계청에서 별도 추계하여 작성하고 있다. 이에 지역내총생산(GRDP)과 국내총생산(GDP)의 상호간 차이를 최소화하기 위하여는 유기적인 협력관계가 필요하다. 또한 기초자치단체(시군구)별 지역내총생산(GRDP)통계는 시도에서 작성하고 있다. 현재 6개 시도에서 작성되고 있는 기초자치단체별GRDP의 작성 확산을 위한 노력과 아울러 이들 자료와 통계청에서 작성한 시도별 GRDP자료와의 정합성 유지방안에 대한 대책도 요구되고 있다.

  • 비디오는 상당히 많은 정보를 함축적으로 포괄하는 있는 자원이다. 하지만 비디오의 내용물을 처리하고 이해하기에는 많은 어려움이 있다. 모자이크라고 하는 것은 연속적인 영상들로부터 정합 하여 하나의 새로운 영상을 생성함을 일컫는다. 그러므로 모자이크 영상을 통해서 비디오의 많은 정보들을 효과적으로 표현해 줄 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 모자이크 구축을 위해 이동하는 카메라를 통해 입력을 받아 모자이크 영상을 생성하는 방안을 제시한다. 정적 모자이크 구축을 위해 두 영상간의 방향 벡터만큼 이동 후 차 영상을 계산하여 구축하는 방안을 제시한다. 동적 모자이크 구축을 위해 움직이는 카메라와 동적 객체의 파라미터를 모호성을 방지하기 위한 알고리즘을 제시하고, 동적 객체 판별을 위한 영역 분할 기법에 대하여 제시한다.
