Damage Analysis of Manganese Crossings for Turnout System of Sleeper Floating Tracks on Urban Transit (도시철도 침목플로팅궤도 분기기 망간크로싱의 손상해석)

  • The turnout system of the sleeper floating tracks (STEDEF) on urban transit is a Anti-vibration track composed of a wooden sleeper embedded in a concrete bed and a sleeper resilience pad under the sleeper. Therefore, deterioration and changes in spring stiffness of the sleeper resilience pad could be cause changes in sleeper support conditions. The damage amount of manganese crossings that occurred during the current service period of about 21 years was investigated to be about 17% of the total amount of crossings, and it was analyzed that the damage amount increased after 15 years of use (accumulated passing tonnage of about 550 million tons). In this study, parameter analysis (wheel position, sleeper support condition, and dynamic wheel load) was performed using a three-dimensional numerical model that simulated real manganese crossing and wheel profile, to analyze the damage type and cause of manganese crossing that occurred in the actual field. As a result of this study, when the voided sleeper occurred in the sleeper around the nose, the stress generated in the crossing nose exceeded the yield strength according to the dynamic wheel load considering the design track impact factor. In addition, the analysis results were evaluated to be in good agreement with the location of damage that occurred in the actual field. Therefore, in order to minimize the damage of the manganese crossing, it is necessary to keep the sleeper support condition around the nose part constant. In addition, by considering the uniformity of the boundary conditions under the sleepers, it was analyzed that it would be advantageous to to replace the sleeper resilience pad together when replacing the damaged manganese crossing.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect on the clinical competence by the face-to-face, non-face-to-face clinical practice stress and the stress coping. A survey was conducted among nursing students of university in Seoul and Chungcheong City from June 10 to July 10, 2021. 201 copies were included in the final data analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficient and hierarchical regressions was used. As a result, in the first stage, nursing students grades, major satisfaction, and face-to-face practice satisfaction explained 19.4% of their clinical performance ability, in the second step, stress coping was added to increase explanatory power by 19.6% allowing a total of 39.0% of randomness to be explained. Therefore, this study could be used as a basic data for the counseling, development, and education programs for stress coping to increase clinical competence.

  • It was analyzed that the volume of deep excavation works adjacent to existing underground structures is increasing according to the population growth and density of cities. Currently, many underground structures and tracks are damaged by external factors, and the cause is analyzed based on the measurement results in the tunnel, and measurements are being made for post-processing, not for prevention. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect on the deformation of the structure due to the excavation work adjacent to the urban railway track in use. In addition, the safety of structures is evaluated through machine learning techniques for displacement of structures before damage and destruction of underground structures and tracks due to external factors. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that the model suitable for predicting the structure management standard value time in the analyzed dataset was a polynomial regression machine. Since it may be limited to the data applied in this study, future research is needed to increase the diversity of structural conditions and the amount of data.

  • Currently, the utilization of measurement results of the automated measurement system is very low and is at the level of providing only fragmentary measurement results. In this study, we are going to study a structure behavior analysis 3D display system with high precision and reliability for automated measurement data obtained by constructing big data by transmitting massive data values measured in real time to the cloud and using a Python-based algorithm. As a result of the study, as a system that can evaluate the behavior of a structure to a manager in real time, it provides analysis data in real time without significant restrictions regardless of the type of measurement data and sensor, and derived it as a 3D display. In addition, it was analyzed that the manager could grasp the behavior graph of the structure in real time and more easily judge the derivation of the weak part of the structure through data analysis. In the future, by analyzing the behavior of structures in three dimensions using past and present data, it is expected that more effective measurement results can be obtained in terms of repair, reinforcement, and maintenance of realistic structures.

  • YGN 3 is the first nuclear power plant to use the Core Protection Calculator (CPC) as the core protection system and the Core Operating Limit Supervisory System (COLSS) as the core monitor-ing system in Korea. The CPC is designed to provide on-line calculations of Departure from Nucleate Boiling Ratio (DNBR) and Local Power Density (LPD) and to initiate reactor trip if the core conditions exceed the DNBR or LPD design limit. The COLSS is designed to assist the operator in implementing the Limiting Conditions for Operation (LCOs) in Technical Specifications for DNBR/Linear Heat Rate (LHR) margin, azimuthal tilt, and axial shape index and to provide alarm when the LCOs are reached. During YGN 3 initial startup testing, extensive CPC/COLSS related tests ore peformed to ver-ify the CPC/COLSS performance and to obtain optimum CPC/COLSS calibration constants at var, -ious core conditions. Most of test results met their specific acceptance criteria. In the case of missing the acceptance criteria, the test results ore analyzed, evaluated, and justified. Through the analysis and evaluation of each of the CPC/COLSS related test results, it can be concluded that the CPC/COLSS are successfully Implemented as designed at YGN 3.

Zombie, the Subject Ex Nihilo and the Ethics of Infection (좀비, 엑스 니힐로의 주체와 감염의 윤리)

  • The purpose of this article is to compare zombie narratives in relation to the Other. In previous research, the view of zombies as post-capitalist soulless consumers or workers has been frequently expressed. But in this article, I wanted to look at zombies as the main cause of the collapse of the world and a new future. First, zombies do not only mean the representation of the consumer in the late capitalist era. Rather, it is an awakening subject desiring the outside of the system. As you can see from the Uncanny's point of view, zombies are something that we should oppress as freaks and monsters that threatened the Other. To be a zombie in this way is to meet one's other self, the "Fundamentals of Humanity," and it is the moment when everything becomes the subject ex nihilo, the new beginning. Second, the concept of infection shows a new ethic. Zombie cannibalism is different from the selfish love of a vampire who sucks a worker's blood. Zombie cannibalism is an infection, which is a model of Christian love for one's neighbor. It is a moment of awakening and the beginning of solidarity. It is on the waiting for the solidarity that the zombie hangs in such a way, and the attack on the human being is an active illusion. Third, the situation of the end of a zombie narrative is another event for newness. The anger of a zombie serves not just to show monsters, but acts as a catalyst that accelerates the world's catastrophes. The anger of zombies is the messianic violence that stops the false world, and presents a new way. The emergence of zombies and the popular response to them embody a desire for the possibility of a new subject and world.

  • This study was attempted to explore in depth the education of cultural diversity in the curriculum and textbooks of middle school according to [1] As a result, the educational goals in the curriculum emphasized[2] the realization of the meaning and value of cultural diversity education reflecting the global citizen education in various time, space background and socio-cultural context. The purpose of the curriculum guidelines is specified, and the following is given: "To properly recognize the diversity of the world culture; To acquire knowledge on cultural diversity; To grasp important functions in the city life, and to have attitudes and qualities required as members of the world, and to develop a pluralistic literacy ability''. In the textbooks, the subjects of the cultural diversity education are mainly based on the curriculum standards, the education area of the 7th grade is the 'human community life', the education area of the 8th grade is the origin and development of the Chinese civilization, Suggesting the scope of the theme 'harmonious coexistence with the world'. In order to analyze cultural diversity education in response to the demands of the times, we analyzed three factors such as diversity, identity, and interrelationship.

Matching of Topic Words and Non-Sympathetic Types on YouTube Videos for Predicting Video Preference (영상 선호도 예측을 위한 유튜브 영상에 대한 토픽어와 비공감 유형 매칭)

  • YouTube, the world's largest video sharing platform, is loved by many users in that it provides numerous videos and makes it easy to get helpful information. However, the ratio of like/hate for each video varies according to the subject or upload time, even though they are in the same channel; thus, previous studies try to understand the reason by inspecting some numerical statistics such as the ratio and view count. They can help know how each video is preferred, but there is an explicit limitation to identifying the cause of such preference. Therefore, this study aims to determine the reason that affects the preference through matching between topic words extracted from comments in each video and non-sympathetic types defined in advance. Among the top 10 channels in the field of 'pets' and 'cooking', where outliers occur a lot, the top 10 videos (the threshold of pet: 4.000, the threshold of cooking: 0.723) with the highest ratio were selected. 11,110 comments collected totally, and topics were extracted and matched with non-sympathetic types. The experimental results confirmed that it is possible to predict whether the rate of like/hate would be high or which non-sympathetic type would be by analyzing the comments.

  • The film Aftersun(2022) is Scottish director Charlotte Wells' feature debut and is one of the films that received the most attention in the international art film scene that year. The overall structure of the film is a look back at a certain summer vacation that Sophie, now an adult, went to Turkey with Calum, a 30-year-old 'young dad', whom she lived apart after divorcing her mother when she was 11 years old. In fact, it can be said to be a reconstruction of memory, and Aftersun not only describes the contents remembered, but also reveals the process of reconstructing memories, making the film a process of post-action memory work. In this process, Aftersun proves Lev Manovich's words that cinema is an indexic art. Going back and forth between home video and cinematic diegesis, After Sun unleashes a new imaginary temporality through a two-hour conversation, traces of indexical signs engraved on home video and present times. The film urges involuntary memories in the chaotic time to the present, and makes meaning through traces and signs of intense gestures in the dialogue between media and media, past and present. An Analysis of Safety Zone Appropriateness of Urban Railway Box Structures by Adjacent Excavation Using Machine Learning Technique (머신러닝 기법을 적용한 인접굴착에 따른 도시철도 박스구조물의 안전영역 적정성 분석)

  • This study analyzed the relationship between major parameters and numerical analysis results according to various excavations conducted around the urban railway, application of machine learning techniques and verified the scope of influence of the adjacent excavation on the existing urban railway box structure and the appropriateness of the safety area. This study targeted the actual negotiated adjacent excavation works and box structures around the urban railway, and the analysis was conducted on the most representative two-line box structures. The analysis confirmed that the difference in depth of urban railway, excavation depth of adjacent excavation, and depth of underground water level are important parameters, and the difference in excavation depth of adjacent excavation is the parameter that affects the behavior of underground box structures and is an important requirement for setting safety areas. In particular, the deeper the depth of the adjacent excavation work, the greater the effect on the deflection of the underground box structure, and the horizontal separation distance, one of the important requirements for determining the management grade of the existing adjacent excavation work, is relatively small.
