자동차 교류발전기의 재제조 프로세스 설계 (Remanufacturing Process Design for Automotive Alternator)

  • 재제조는 사용 후 제품을 체계적으로 회수하여 분해, 세척, 검사, 보수조정, 재조립 등의 공정을 거쳐 원래의 성능을 유지할 수 있도록 만드는 과정이다. 자동차 교류발전기를 재제조하기 위해서는 재제조품에 요구되는 품질 및 신뢰성을 확실히 달성하기 위하여 공정 별 복잡한 작업들에 대하여 세부적인 사항들을 결정하고 이를 설계하는 일이 중요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 재제조를 위한 최적의 공정설계를 위해 FMEA를 활용한 체계적인 가이드라인을 제시하여 재제조품의 품질 및 신뢰성을 확보하는데 있다. 코어 부품의 상태 수준에 따른 작업과정과 재정비여부를 결정하기 위해 위험성 지표에 의한 방법도 연구되었다. 특히, 재제조기업의 사례연구를 통하여 FMEA의 유용성과 가이드라인의 적절성을 보여준다.

  • 건설업은 타 산업에 비해 높은 사망사고율을 보이고 있으며, 최근 사망사고에 대한 기업의 법적 책임이 강화되고 있다. 이는 건설사에게 큰 부담이 되고 있으며, 건설 사망사고에 대한 선제적 예측과 관리의 필요성을 증대시키고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 의사결정나무를 활용하여 건축공사에서 발생할 수 있는 사망사고를 사전에 예측할 수 있는 모델을 개발하는데 있다. 본 연구에서 의미하는 사망사고 예측모델이란 건축공사의 조건에 따라 공종별로 발생할 수 있는 사망사고의 가능성(확률)을 예측하는 모델을 의미한다. 예측모델의 활용을 통한 사망사고에 대한 사전 예측과 선제적 대응은 법적 처벌을 예방하고 건축공사의 성공적인 수행이라는 측면에서 중요한 의의를 지닌다.

일부 밀폐형 무창계사에서 발생하는 PM10 및 엔도톡신의 특성 및 연관성 분석 (Relationship and Characteristics of PM10 and Endotoxin Concentrations in Windowless Poultry Houses in South Korea)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the concentrations and relationships of coarse particles with a diameter of 10 ㎛ (PM10) with endotoxins according to the time of measurement in windowless poultry houses. Methods: In this study, measurement was performed on ten windowless poultry houses with a vertically integrated system from July to November. PM10 was measured using personal environmental monitors and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) filters with a 4 L/min-calibrated pump in selected sampling locations (two near the door and two near an exhaust fan). The endotoxin on PTFE filter was analyzed by the LAL turbidimetric method. Results: The range of geometric mean concentrations of PM10 and endotoxins for each of the 38 samples were 0.12-3.30 mg/m3 and 11.9-3553.66 EU/m3, respectively. PM10 and endotoxin concentrations varied by farm, increasing with the decrease in ventilation. The range of the coefficient of determination between PM10 and endotoxin was 0.0009-0.9249. As the atmospheric temperature decreased, it was confirmed that the concentrations of PM10 and endotoxin increased because the volume of ventilation was decreased. Conclusions: Endotoxins were more affected by time of measurement and ventilation than PM10, which means that endotoxins could be an important indicator for intervention programs for improvement of indoor environments.

약용식물 추출물의 에탄올대사 효소활성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Medicinal Plant Extracts on the Ethanol-Metabolizing Enzyme Activities)

  • 약용식물의 열수 추출물이 in vitro에서 alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH)와 aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH)의 활성에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 약용식물에 20배의 증류수를 넣고 $80^{\circ}C$에서 8시간 추출하여 얻어진 추출액을 시료로 사용하였다. 50종의 약용식물 중에서 마늘과 육계 추출물이 숙취해소 천연소재로서의 활용 가능성이 가장 높게 나타났다. 마늘 추출물은 ADH에 비해 ALDH의 활성을 2배 이상 촉진시킴으로써 acetaldehyde의 분해가 잘 되게 하였다. 육계 추출물은 ALDH의 활성에 비해 ADH의 활성을 획기적으로 저해함으로써 acetaldehyde의 생성을 크게 억제하였다. 육계 추출물은 농도에 비례하여 ADH와 ALDH의 활성을 저해하였으며, $45.33{\mu}g/mL$의 농도에서 ADH의 활성을 52.8% 저해하였고 ALDH의 활성을 11.0% 저해하였다.

수확, 경운정지, 파종, 정식, 순지르기 작업에서 발생하는 PM10 노출 특성 (PM10 Exposure Characteristics During the Harvesting, Plowing, Sowing, Planting, and Decapitation Tasks of Agricultural Workplaces in South Korea)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to identify PM10 mass concentration levels and conduct peak identification during five tasks in agricultural works. Methods: We investigated five agricultural tasks in 12 farms, which were harvesting, plowing, sowing, planting, and decapitation. All samples were measured by using the portable aerosol spectrometer(PAS 1.108) and the aerosol monitor(SidePak AM520). The collected data were compared with the national PM10 concentrations. They were calculated to descriptive statistics, independent t-test, or ANOVA, and the peak identification on time series graph. Results: The ten investigated farms showed no significant difference with the national PM10 concentrations, but the two greenhouses(AM, 143.31, 85.16 ㎍/m3) showed significant difference(p<0.05). As a result of the peak identification, the harvesting tasks showed repeated peak occurrence with the background concentration level of about 50 ㎍/m3. For plowing and sowing tasks, the peak occurred intermittently when the working was conducted near the sampling sites. Among the five tasks, the arithmetic mean of the harvesting task was 138.84±294.71 ㎍/m3, which was significantly higher than the other tasks(p<0.05). In addition, the case of using a tractor was higher than the case of not using the tractor(p<0.05), and the driver's seat showed the highest concentration(AM, 95.81 ㎍/m3). Conclusions: Works in greenhouses might have exposure to PM10, while outdoor works is similar to general atmospheric PM10 concentration levels. However, there is a possibility of intermittent exposure to high concentrations of PM10 depending on the characteristics of agricultural tasks.

세계 주요 공항의 환경 효율성 분석에 관한 연구 (Measuring Environmental Efficiency of International Airports: DEA and DDF Approach)

  • 본 연구는 각 공항의 2018년 지속가능성 보고서를 바탕으로 21개 국제 공항의 환경 효율성을 측정하였다. 최근 다양한 산업 분야에서 환경 및 사회적 책임에 관심을 기울여왔는데, 특히 항공 분야의 경우 환경 친화적 및 지속가능성 운영에 관심을 보이는 선도적인 부문 중 하나이다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 공항의 환경적 운영에 관련된 연구는 경제적 또는 운영 효율성 연구에 비하면 매우 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 Directional Distance Function (DDF)의 활용을 통해 공항의 환경 비효율성에 대한 개선 여부를 알아보고, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA)의 적용을 통해 운영 효율성을 측정하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 결과, 주요 공항들은 설비를 효율적으로 운영하고 있으나, 그들 모두가 공항에서 배출되는 물질을 효율적으로 운영하지는 못했다. 게다가, 많은 공항은 여전히 잠재적으로 CO2와 물 소비량을 감소시킬 수 있는 개선의 여지가 존재하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 항공 분야에서 실행가능한 환경적 개선점을 제시하고자 하였다. 더 나아가서, 다른 산업 분야에서도 환경 효율성 개선을 위한 기준으로서 이 연구를 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

국내외 발열의류의 디자인 요소 및 발열시스템 분석 (Analysis of Design Elements and Heating System of Domestic and Foreign Commercial Electrical Heated Clothing)

  • This study aimed to examine the appearance of heated clothing in relation to fashion trends by analyzing constructive components of clothing using product images and actual products. A total of 91 images of domestic and foreign heated clothing products were collected, and a product analysis conducted with six parameters of item classification, namely, concept and image, silhouette, color, number of heating elements, and heating parts. In addition, an in-depth analysis was carried out with 11 products among them, while focusing on further detailed components of the design and heating system. As a result, the overall exterior design of domestic products has been changed from outdoor clothing to daily clothing reflecting the current design trend. Compared with domestic products, foreign products showed a diverse assortment and a greater number of heating regions per individual item of clothing. The current heating system commonly consists of a heating element, power source, controller board, and wires, although the existence and type of switches differed from product to product. To develop a more efficiently heated clothing to expand the market, the design, ease of use, safety, consumer preference, heating functionality, and durability should be considered. Along with design recommendations for future heated clothing, this study also provides a practical guide to the technical aspects of the design of the components of heated clothing.

신발장착형 보행분석 트래커의 사용자경험 분석 (User Experience Analysis of a Shoe-mounted Gait Analysis Tracker)

  • Gait analysis trackers have been developed to monitor daily gait patterns to improve users' running performance and reduce the risk of injuries. A variety of gait analysis trackers are available on the market(e.g., foot pods, insoles). Depending on the type of gait analysis tracker, users' discomfort or satisfaction as well as required properties may differ. Hence, the purpose of this study was to compare and analyze user experience of three different types of commercial shoe-mounted gait analysis trackers and their mobile applications in a laboratory environment using questionnaires based on actual experiences of each product. Ten males and ten females who regularly enjoy walking and running exercises participated in the experiment. After the participants set up the tracker and application themselves without support from researchers, ten to thirty minutes' exercise was permitted on each product. Following this, the participants answered questionnaires containing evaluation variables on the device and mobile application, as well as satisfaction, intention to use, recommendation, and purchase. In addition, they were asked questions about the attractive features and shortcomings of each device and application. The results showed that the PRO-SPECS® smart insole was preferred over the others for ease of use, perceived durability, psychological burden of the design, and usefulness of the information provided by the application. Along with the results of questionnaire, this study also discussed strategies and recommendations for future product design and development.

플래너 밀러 스핀들의 재제조를 위한 최적설계 개선안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Optimal Design for the Re-Manufacturing of Planner Miller Spindle)

  • The depletion of resources and waste disposal caused by the continuous development of industry have emphasized the need to reduce consumption and production, recycle and reuse, and the importance of remanufacturing has increased in recent years. The spindle part of the aging planner miller, which is currently being remanufactured, is one of the factors that has the greatest impact on the performance of the machine tool. When designing the spindle part of the spindle shaft, there are considerations such as the configuration size bearing performance of the main shaft, but the diameter of the main shaft, the dangerous speed bearing, and the arrangement that affect the machining accuracy should be basically considered. As such, various studies have been conducted on the design of machine tool spindle spindles, but research on the reverse engineering of existing aging machine tool spindle spindles is poor. Reverse engineering is designing in the direction of improving performance by extracting specifications from already finished products, and first scanning the reverse engineered object through a 3D scanner, 3D modeling is performed based on the collected data, and then the process of deriving improvement plans by reverberating to improve performance by identifying wear and damage conditions is followed. Therefore, in this study, the purpose of this study is to provide data on reverse engineering by deriving improvement plans through optimal design for the bearing position of the aging planar Miller spindle spindle using central composite programming.

재제조 기술을 이용한 노후 플래너 밀러의 CNC 제어 장치 성능평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Evaluation of CNC Control Units of an Old Planar Miller Using Remanufacturing Technology)

  • With the continuous development of the current industry, the current global environment is in a very serious situation, with resource supply and demand dependent on imports and huge costs for waste disposal due to the depletion of resources and mass generation of industrial waste. Its limitations have already been revealed in many fields, and the importance of re-manufacturing is drawing attention as a countermeasure to these problems. Re-manufacturing aims to recover products that are in the aging and disposal stages, recover to performance close to new products, and re-commercialize them. Among them, most of the machine tools are made of materials such as steel and cast iron with large structures, and raw materials are widely used when producing new products. In addition, since a lot of carbon is generated due to production, it is an object that can obtain a great re-manufacturing effect. Planner millers belonging to large machine tools are one of the machine tool equipment that can greatly reduce resources and energy through re-manufacturing because the structure is very large and the casting is several to tens of tons. Through this machine tool, performance tests and results are derived on the development of re-manufacturing source technology and domestic servo motor and CNC control device.
