토양컬럼을 이용한 합성폐수증 $NH^{4+}$의 질산화

  • 본 연구에서는 토양을 충진한 컬럼을 사용하여 질산화 반응을 촉진시키기 위한 첨가제에 따른 효과를 검토하였다. 토양만을 충진한 컬럼에서는 $NH_{4-}$/N의 약 26%가 질산화 되었으며 제올라이트를 첨가 하였을 때 실험초기에는 $NH_{4-}$/N가 유출되지 않다가 20일 이후부터 $NH_{4-}$/N의 농도가 증가 하기 시작하였으며 이는 제올라이트에 의한 흡착능력의 저하로 사료된다. 폐굴껍질 20% 충진한 토양컬럼에서는 실험 95일까지 99.7%의 질산화율을 보았다. 위의 결과로부터 알 수 있듯이 토양컬럼에 폐굴껍질과 제올라이트를 첨가제로 충진하였을 경우 질산화 반응을 촉진시켜서 질산화율을 높일 수 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다.

염화철처리 활성탄에 의한 합성지하수 중의 질산성 질소 제거

  • 본 연구에서는 활성탄을 염화철로 표면 처리한 염화철처리 활성탄을 사용하여 지하수중의 ${NO_3}^{-}$-/-N 제거 가능성과 그 제거에 미치는 영향을 검토하고자 한 것으로 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1) 조제된 염화철 코팅 활성탄의 표면을 SEM으로 분석한 결과를 보면 활성탄의 표면에 염화철이 코팅되어 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 2) 통수유속이 0.5~4 BV $hr^{-1}$/로 낮을 경우는 질산성 질소 파과시점이 비슷하였으며, 통수유속이 커질수록 활성탄의 비표면적에 접하는 시간이 짧아져서 파과시점이 짧아진 것으로 사료된다. 3) 연속컬럼 실험(3.1 L)에서 통수량 약 82 L까지는 ${NO_3}^{-}$/-N의 파과시점이 나타나지 않았으며 재생액의 농도가 0.5 M-KCl에서는 약 9 L, 1 M-KCl에서는 약 7 L의 재생액이 사용되었고, 재생 후 각각의 파과시점은 약 53 L, 59 L로 유지되었다. 1 M-KCl의 재생액을 사용하여 재생하였을 경우 두번째 재사용과 재생부터 총 질산성 질소 제거량은 약 1,531~l,357 mg/kg, 탈착량은 약 1,526~1,306 mg/kg으로 일정하였다.

염료폐수 용액의 광축매-광화학 반응 (Photocatalytic-Photochemical Reaction of Wastewater Dyes in aqueous Solution)

  • The photocatalytic decolorization and photodegradation of wastewater contamininated with dyes such as methyleneblue tetrahydrate(MBT), methyl orange(MO), phenol red(PR) and the mixed dyes have been studied using a batch reactor in the presence of aerotropic and titania. Degussa P25 titanium oxide was used as the photocatalyst and proved to be effective for the dyes-degradation when irradiated with UV-light source emitting the wavelength of 253.7 nm in the presence of air. In addition to removing the color from the wastewater, the photocatalytic reaction simultaneously reduced the COD and optical density which suggests that the dissolved organic compounds have been photooxidized. The reaction rate of disappearance of the dyes were measured as a function of the irradiation times. The photooxidative procedure of the aquatic solution have the first order reaction-kinetics. The rate constants were increased in the order of PR < MBT < $gL^{-1}-TiO_2$ powder were irradiated with the UV -light source.

수직축 풍력발전기의 해석에 관하여 (On the Analysis of Vertical-axis Wind Rotor)

  • Aerodynamic forces acting on a curved blade are computed theoretically taking into account the variation of wind speed over the blade to investigate the performance of a vertical axis wind rotor. It is shown that the rotor does not self start at the rated wind speed without a supplementary starting device and that most of the power output is contributed by the central portion of the rotor, and the use of spoilers for limiting the maximum rotational speed is needed for safety. It is also shown that provision of skew angle to the blade does not improve the starting characterstics and only reduces the maximum power output. The effects of geometric variables such as skew angle, blade solidity and ratio of the rotor height to diameter are also discussed.

파이버 레이저를 이용한 밸로우즈 용접특성에 관한연구 (Welding characteristics of Metal bellows using a Fiber laser)

  • Fiber laser welding was performed on SUS Materials metal bellows. The results can be summarized as follows: When we tried to change welding focus location. we get the best welding line when focus location placed 0mm. In product welding, We could make a satisfactory product in constant area by applying optimized conditions and show a table that is able to help producer easily to apply it to manufacturing. In comparison with existing TIG and plasma welding, welded bellows by fiber laser has faster processing speed, smaller thermal effect, very narrow welding area and fine surface.

이종두께 강판의 $CO_2$ 레이저 용접 및 성형성 ($CO_2$ Laser Beam Welding and Formability of Steel Plates with Different Thicknesses)

  • The maximum butt-joint gap size in $CO_2$ laser beam welding of SAPH steel plates with different thicknesses and its bending formability were studied. In the range of the gap size$\geq$0.1mm, the optimal butt welding speed was faster than that of no gap (air gap) condition. This behaviour was independent on the difference of thickness at any combination. Also, the allowable gap size in steel plates with different thicknesses was larger than with same thicknesses. In the range of $T/T_0$(bead shape) $\geq$ 0.8, good bending formability was obtained at any combination of thickness. The formability was improved by reducing the hardness in weld bead using pre-heating process. Finally, FEM result of the laser beam welded underframe with different thicknesses was compared to that of the conventional spot welded underframe.

  • In this study EB(Electron Beam) welder was modified to apply Ef welder to micro-joining for soldering and micro-brazing. The power and beam current of EB welder is 6kW, 100mA(60kV) and the minimum current was 1mA. The minimum current of EB welder was modified to decrease the amount of beam current to 0.0lmA and the monitoring system to observe materials was made up. The system is developed including teaching function for generating patterns. The control system and CAD/CAM software for EB direct writing was developed and the deflection beam was controlled without moving workpieces. the possibility of applying EB welder to micro-joining for soldering and brazing was studied through this experiments.

한국어 3중 대립 음소에 대한 일본인의 지각적 범주화 (Japanese Adults' Perceptual Categorization of Korean Three-way Distinction)

  • Current theories of cross-language speech perception claim that patterns of perceptual assimilation of non-native segments to native categories predict relative difficulties in learning to perceive (and produce) non-native phones. Perceptual assimilation patterns by Japanese listeners of the three-way voicing distinction in Korean syllable-initial obstruent consonants were assessed directly. According to Speech Learning Model (SLM) and Perceptual Assimilation Model (PAM), the resulting perceptual assimilation pattern predicts relative difficulty in discrimination between lenis and aspirated consonants, and relative ease in the discrimination of fortis. This study compared the effects of two different training conditions on Japanese adults’perceptual categorization of Korean three-way distinction. In one condition, participants were trained to discriminate lenis and aspirated consonants which were predicted to be problematic, whereas in another condition participants were trained with all three classes of 'learnability' did not seem to depend lawfully on the perceived cross-language similarity of Korean and Japanese consonants.
