Adaptive Feed-forward Control with Reference Model for Position Controller (기준모델과 피드포워드 적응제어를 사용한 위치제어기)

  • This paper proposed a feed-forward adaptive position controller that is robust for variable Inertia. The control system consists of PI Position controller, feed-forward and model reference adaptive control. A parameter g(t) of the feed-forward adaptive position controller is adapted by using both the reference model speed and position error. So it improves the transient response and reduces the settling time. And normalization function Is used to make linear adaptation time. The validity of the feed-forward adaptive controller is confirmed by simulation results.

  • In this paper, we study the problem of controlling composite asynchronous sequential machines. The considered asynchronous machine consists of two input/state machines in cascade connection, where the output of the front machine is delivered to the input channel of the rear machine. The objective is to design a corrective controller realizing model matching such that the stable state behavior of the closed-loop system matches that of a reference model. Since the controller receives the state feedback of the rear machine only, there exists uncertainty about the present state of the front machine. We specify the existence condition for a corrective controller given the uncertainty. The design procedure for the proposed controller is described in a case study.

  • This article presents machine learning based approach on Big data to analyzing time series data for anomaly detection in such industrial complex system. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network have been demonstrated to be improved version of RNN and have become a useful aid for many tasks. This LSTM based model learn the higher level temporal features as well as temporal pattern, then such predictor is used to prediction stage to estimate future data. The prediction error is the difference between predicted output made by predictor and actual in-coming values. An error-distribution estimation model is built using a Gaussian distribution to calculate the anomaly in the score of the observation. In this manner, we move from the concept of a single anomaly to the idea of the collective anomaly. This work can assist the monitoring and management of Smart Factory in minimizing failure and improving manufacturing quality.

Simulation and Analysis of Slammer Worm Propagation With Automatic Quarantine (자동 격리를 감안한 슬래머 웜 전파과정에 대한 모의실험 및 분석)

  • In this paper, we have analyzed a simulation model of Slammer worm propagation process which caused serious disruptions on the Internet in the year of 2003 by using NS-2. Previously we had presented and analyzed Abstract Network to Abstract Network(AN-AN) model being modified from the Detailed Network to Abstract Network(DN-AN) of NS-2. However, packet analysis in AN-AN model had a problem of taking 240 hours to simulate the initial 300 seconds of infection. We have reduced the AN-AN model to save the simulation time and analyzed total 3.5 hours of the network congestions within 107 hours. Moreover, we have derived optimal quarantine rate of 0.0022 considering service outage of network devices caused by the heavy infected traffics, which was not taken into consideration in previous works. As the result of simulation, Although the inbound traffic at the Korean international gateway was back in normal conditions at 4,787 second, due to the revese direction saturation was maintained until 12,600 seconds, the service outage was persisted for 3.5 hours.

  • In this paper, we present the new angular velocity pick-off method for DTG (dynamically tuned gyroscope) which is widely used in various inertial navigation systems and motion control systems. In case of the external angular velocity input, the proposed scheme can make a smaller tilt-angle rather than that of conventional PI method in the transient and steady state because it has an additional inner rebalance loop with a mathematical model of the real gyroscope. So, without any mechanical redesign of the DTG, its dynamic range can be enlarged by the proposed method. The theoretical analysis and simulation model of DTG with the proposed scheme are given. Finally, the proposed scheme is verified.

  • The visibility deteriorates in hazy weather and it is difficult to accurately recognize information captured by the camera. Research is being actively conducted to remove haze so that camera-based applications such as object localization/detection and lane recognition can operate normally even in hazy weather. In this paper, we propose a nonlinear model for depth map estimation through an extensive analysis that the difference between brightness and saturation in hazy image increases non-linearly with the depth of the image. The quantitative evaluation(MSE, SSIM, TMQI) shows that the proposed haze removal method based on the nonlinear model is superior to other state-of-the-art methods.

Actuator Fault Detection and Isolation Method for a Hexacopter (헥사콥터의 구동기 고장 검출 및 분리 방법)

  • Multicopters have become more popular since they are advantageous in their ability to take off and land vertically. In order to guarantee the normal operations of such multicopters, the problem of fault detection and isolation is very important. In this paper, a new method for detecting and isolating an actuator fault of a hexacopter is proposed based on the analytical approach. The residual is newly defined using the angular velocities of actuators estimated by the mathematical model and an actuator fault is detected comparing the residuals to a threshold. And a fault is isolated combining a dynamic model and generated residuals when a fault is detected. The proposed method is a simple, but effective technique because it is based on mathematical model. The results of the computer simulation are also given to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm in case of a single failure.

A FPGA Implementation of BIST Design for the Batch Testing (일괄검사를 위한 BIST 설계의 FPGA 구현)

  • In this paper, the efficient BILBO(named EBILBO) is designed for BIST that is able to batch the testing when circuit is designed on FPGA. The proposed algorithm of batch testing is able to test the normal operation speed with one-pin-count that can control all part of large and complex circuit. PRTPG is used for the test pattern and MISR is used for PSA. The proposed algorithm of batch testing is VHDL coding on behavioral description, so it is easily modified the model of test pattern generation, signature analysis and compression. The EBILBO's area and the performance of designed BIST are evaluated with ISCAS89 benchmark circuit on FPGA. In circuit with above 600 cells, it is shown that area is reduced below 30%, test pattern is flexibly generated about 500K and the fault coverage is from 88.3% to 100%. EBILBO for the proposed batch testing BIST is able to execute concurrently normal and test mode operation in real time to the number of $s+n+(2^s/2^p-1)$ clock(where, in CUT, # of PI;n, # of register, p is order # of polynomial). The proposed algorithm coded with VHDL is made of library, then it well be widely applied to DFT that satisfy the design and test field on sme time.

  • A new phase-shifted parallel-input/series-output(PISO) dual converter for tush-power step-up applications has been proposed. Since the proposed converter shows a low switch turn-off voltage stress, switching devices with low conduction loss can be employed in order to improve the power conversion efficiency. Moreover, it features a low output capacitor root-mean-square(RMS) current stress, low input current and output voltage ripple contents, and fast control-to-output dynamics compared to its PWM counterpart. In this paper, the operation of the proposed converter is analyzed in detail and its mathematical models and steady-state solutions are presented. A comparative analysis with the conventional PWM PISO dual converter is also provided. To confirm the operation, features, and validity of the Proposed converter, experimental results from an 800W, 24-350Vdc prototype are presented.

저궤도 위성 전원선 확인 시험

  • 저궤도 위성 비행모델 기능시험은 위성체 내부 전장품들 간의 접속 확인과 조립 및 연결상태를 확인하는 시험을 우선적으로 수행한다. 위성체의 전원선 확인 시험은 전기 전자적 조립 시험에서 가장 처음으로 수행하는 시험이다. 전력조절분배장치로부터 전장품 각각의 하드웨어로 공급되는 50볼트 주전원 또는 28볼트 부전원이 정상적으로 공급하게 되는지를 검증한다. 위성체 하니스가 설치된 후, 각각의 하드웨어에 공급되는 전원의 극성 및 연속성 시험을 수행한다. 전력조절분배장치는 태양전지판으로부터 얻어진 전력이 레귤레이터에 의해 정류된 전압을 받아 릴레이나 FET를 통하여 모든 전장품에 전원을 공급하는 주요 장비이다. 전력조절분배장치 내부나 외부 하니스 오류로부터 생길 수 있는 잘못 리드된 전원으로부터 전장품을 보호하기 위하여 하니스를 하드웨어에 연결하기 전에 우선적으로 전원선 확인 시험을 수행한다. 위성체 전원선 확인 시험은 위성체와 기능시험장비를 연결하여 시리얼 명령어를 통해 전력조절분배장치 내부의 FET 동작을 조절하며, FET 동작 상태 및 전장품에 접속되는 입력 단에서의 전압 및 전원 특성 등을 점검한다. 위성체의 주전원 50볼트 라인의 연결도 확인과 부전원 28볼트 라인의 연결도 확인 및 전력제어 유닛 내부 FET의 기능 확인을 수행하며 또한, 전력제어부 외부에 공급하는 28볼트 펄스와 15볼트 펄스를 측정 검증하는 시험을 수행한다.
