  • 신체의 활력을 측정하는 혈압은 다른 어느 측정치보다 변동이 심하고 정상적으로 변할 수 있는 생리적 현상이어서 정확하게 측정하기란 쉽지 않다. 1mmHg 차이의 혈압일지라도, 특히 큰 집단일 경우, 연구목적에서 그 결과를 크게 왜곡 시킬 수 있다. (Wright & dore, 1970). 혈압 측정에는 직접적 방법과 간접적 방법이 있다. 이 중 간접적 방법은 임상분야와 연구분야에서 실제로 넓게 사용되고 있을 분만 아니라 신체로의 직접적 침투하는 방법도 아니고 가격 또한 비싸지 않다. 그러나, 간접적 측정 방법은 혈압에 영향을 끼치는 많은 요인들인 관찰자 편견, 확장기음의 청취음 선택, 관찰자와 환자 사이의 상호관계 때문에 방법론적으로 문제제기가 되기도 한다. 이런 요인을 최소화하기 위하여 가장 타당도가 높은 측정도구의 선택이 필요하다. 도시지역의(Ease Baltimore) 고혈압을 가진 젊은 흑인 남성(연령별/성별/종속별/거주지역) 중 수축기 혈압이 140mmHg 이고 확장기 혈압이 90mmHg인 사람, 또는 확장기 혈압이 90mmHg인 사람, 또는 혈압하강제를 먹고 있는 사람 200명을 대상으로 훈련받은 community health worker(CHW)에 의해 Random-Zero Sphygmdmanometer(RZS)와 Digit Automatic Device(DAD)로 혈압을 측정하게 하였다. 이 중 36명을 무작위 추출하여 regular Mercury Sphygmdmanometer (RMS)로 혈압을 측정하게 했다. Bland 와 Altman에 의해 제기된 두측정값의 차이에 대한 scattergram(일치도 검증법)과 AAMI(Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrument) 기준, BHS 기준, Central Tendency와 숫자선호도로 검증되었다. AAMI와 BHS 기준에 의하면 확장기 혈압에서 RZS와 DAD의 일치도와 평균을 중심으로 더 넓게 퍼져있어 낮은 일치도를 보였으며 또 DAD와 RMS의 혈압치는 숫자 선호도를 볼 수 있는데 특히 RMS는 더 뚜렷하게 나타났는데 확장기 혈압의 최빈치(30.6)는 100mmHg이었다. 혈압치들이 가장 가까이 "0"점으로 치우쳐져 있었다. RZS의 Central tendency는 DAD와 RMS보다 뚜렷하였다. 결론적으로 RZS는 이 연구목적으로 가장 적절함을 보여준다.

  • Recently, much research has been conducted on FRP composite to replace steel. However, the concept of FRP girder filled with concrete has not been fully attempted. This study focuses on the analytical behavior of FRP girders filled with concrete. FRP girders usually have large deflection due to relatively low elastic modulus compared to steel members. However, in the previous experimental investigation on small sized modular beams, it has been verified that the displacement of FRP-girder filled with concrete is reduced and the strength is increased considerably. In this research, analytical investigations have conducted to verify the analytical method by comparing the results with tests. In addition, analyses on large girders assembled with small modules have been carried out to predict the feasibility before tests. The analytical results showed that the assembled FRP girders can be used as substitutes for steel girders.

  • In order to verify normal operation of satellite OBC(On Board Computer), it is essential that processor monitoring and debugging. So we are using the GRMON of Aeroflex Gaisler. It provides a lot of features for debugging of LEON processor but we can't use that features on the NGSCB(Next Generation Spacecraft Computer Board) except a few things. So the cost-effectiveness is very low. And for hardware fault injection, we are using a method of modify satellite flight software, because we can't modify GRMON. This method can not guarantee normal operation of the satellite flight software. So in this paper we were developed the processor monitoring and fault injection tool for NGSCB.

  • 최근에 환경 오염과 화석 에너지의 고갈 문제를 해결하기 위하여 태양광을 전기 에너지로 변환하는 태양전지 연구에서 가장 이슈가 되는 부분은 저가격화와 고효율이다. 상용화 되어 있는 대부분의 태양전지는 단결정 실리콘 웨이퍼와 다결정 실리콘 웨이퍼를 사용한다. 실리콘 웨이퍼의 원자재 가격을 낮추는 방법에는 한계가 있기 때문에 태양전지 제작 공정에서 공정 단가를 낮추는 방법이 많이 연구되고 있고, 실리콘 웨이퍼가 가지는 재료의 특성상 화합물을 이용한 태양전지 보다 낮은 효율을 가질 수밖에 없기 때문에 반도체 소자 공정을 응용하여 실리콘 웨이퍼 기판에서 고효율을 얻는 방법으로 연구가 진행 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 마이크로 블라스터를 이용하여 태양전지 cell 상부에 AG(anti-glare)를 가지는 유리 기판을 형성하여 낮은 단가로 태양전지 cell의 효율을 향상시키기 위한 연구를 진행 하였다. 태양전지 cell 상부에 AG를 가지는 유리 기판을 형성하게 되면 태양의 위도가 낮아 표면에서 대부분 반사되는 태양광을 태양전지 cell에서 광기전력효과가 일어나게 하여 효율을 향상시킨다. 이때 사용한 micro blaster 공정은 고속의 입자가 재료를 타격할 때 입자의 아래에는 고압축응력이 발생하게 되고, 이 고압 축응력에 의하여 소성변형과 탄성변형이 발생된다. 이러한 변형이 발전되어 재료의 파괴 초기값보다 크게 되면 크랙이 발생되고, 점점 더 발전하게 되면 재료의 제거가 일어나는 단계로 이루어지는 기계적 건식 식각 공정 기술이라 할 수 있다. 먼저 유리 기판에 마이크로 블라스터 장비를 이용하여 AG를 형성한다. AG는 $Al_2O_3$ 파우더의 입자 크기, 분사 압력, 노즐과 기판과의 간격, 반복 횟수, 노즐 이동 속도 등의 공정 조건에 따른 유리 기판 표면에서의 광학적 특성 및 구조적 특성에 관하여 분석하였다. 일반적인 태양전지 cell 제작 공정에 따라 cell을 제작 한후 AG 유리 기판을 상부에 형성시키고 솔라시뮬레이터를 이용하여 효율을 측정하였다. 이때 솔라시뮬레이터의 광원이 고정되어 있기 때문에 태양전지 cell에 기울기를 주어 태양의 위도 변화에 대해 간접적으로 측정하였다. AG 유리 기판이 태양전지 cell 상부에 형성 되었을 때와 없을 때를 각각 비교하여 AG 유리 기판이 형성된 태양전지 cell에서의 효율 향상을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문은 반도체 및 평판 디스플레이 생산공정에서 가동되고 있는 건식 진공펌프들의 정밀 상태진단 및 예지 보수를 위한 pump monitoring system (PMS)의 제품화에 필요한 프로그램의 개발 내용을 소개한다. 본 연구에서 소개하는 건식 진공펌프들의 정밀 상태진단 및 예지보수기법은 PCT 특허 2 건으로 이미 등록된 내용이며, 본 논문은 이들 기법의 실제 구현에서 직면하는 기술적 문제점과 극복 방안을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 현재 반도체 공정에 사용되고 있는 건식 진공펌프들로부터 측정하는 다중 상태변수들의 조사 결과를 소개한다. 이들 상태변수 측정치들이 갖는 개략적 특성을 통계적 분포함수로 분석한 결과를 우선 보인다. 특히 펌프 구동모터들의 소비 전류신호는 두 평균값에 대한 분포 즉 두 종의 분포함수를, 그리고 온도, purge gas 유량, 배기구 압력 등은 정상적 평균값에 대한 한나의 분포를 보였다. 따라서 구동모터들의 소비전류의 분포 즉 두 상하 수준('low and high' current level)에 따라 batch data를 구분하는 방법의 개발이 필요하였다. 본 연구에서는 step 함수형 eigenvector를 적용하여 소비전류 신호의 상하수준 천이 영역과 방향을 동시에 인식할 수 있는 기법을 개발 적용하였으며, 3300회의 배출가스 부하에 변화에 대한 천이 영역과 방향을 인식에 하나의 실패도 보이지 않음을 확인하였다. 기존의 측정 상태변수에는 회전기계류의 정밀 상태진단 및 예지보수에 핵심적인 기계진동 측정용 진동센서를 포함하고 있지 않은 기술적 문제점이 발견되었다. 기존 진동센서들의 높은 가격 뿐 아니라 진동센서의 출력신호를 저/중/고역 주파수 대역의 실효치로 환산하는 기술적 한계 때문에 진공펌프 상태진단에 아직 사용하고 있지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 진동선서 비용의 저감화 방안뿐 아니라 로터 회전 대역(250Hz 이하 저주파 영역), 베어링 진동 대역(250 Hz~2.5 kHz의 중간 주파수 영역), 그리고 기어 진동 대역(2.5 kHz~10 kHz 주파수 영역)별 실효치를 실 시간 측정할 수 있는 진동측정 모듈의 제품화 모델을 개발하였다. 개발 제품의 성능 뿐 아니라 현장 시험결과를 소개한다. 마지막으로 본 연구팀이 개발한 PCT 특허 2 건에 포함된 건식 진공펌프들의 정밀 상태진단 및 예지보수기법에 대한 현장 시험결과를 간략히 소개한다.

Computer Program Development for D$_2$O Upgrader Performance Management (중수승급기 성능관리 프로그램 개발)

  • Heavy water is used as a moderator and a coolant in the pressurized heavy water reactor Because of the high cost of heavy water, downgraded heavy water generated in the reactor system is recycled to the reactor after being concentrated up to 99.8% or more in heavy water upgraders. This study investigates the process of upgraders and then suggests a theoretical model. The relations between process variables are derived from tower packing characteristics, vapour-liquid equilibria, and mass-heat balance equations at a steady state operation of the upgrader h computer program UPGR is developed, using the algorithm that solves the nonlinear equations step by step. It shows that the results of computer simulation are in good agreement with the operating data of the Wolsung upgrader. Thus, this computer code offers the optimum operating guide and is now applied to manage the performance of upgraders for the effective operation of the heavy water upgraders.

  • Among the many ways to measure the flow of fluid the hot air wind speed sensor is a device for measuring the speed or temperature by heat transfer of a fluid. However, the hot wire wind speed sensor is sensitive to external environmental factors, and has a disadvantage of inaccuracy due to ambient temperature, humidity, and signal noise. In order to compensate for this disadvantage, advanced technology has been introduced by adding temperature compensation circuits, but it is expensive. In order to solve this problem, this paper studies the wind speed sensor that does not need temperature compensation. Heated wind speed sensors are very vulnerable to the ambient temperature, which is generated by electronic circuits, even among external environmental factors. in order to improve this, the auxiliary heating element is additionally installed in the heating element to control a constant temperature difference between the auxiliary heating element and the heating element.

The Relationship between Internet Search Volumes and Stock Price Changes: An Empirical Study on KOSDAQ Market (개별 기업에 대한 인터넷 검색량과 주가변동성의 관계: 국내 코스닥시장에서의 산업별 실증분석)

  • As the internet has become widespread and easy to access everywhere, it is common for people to search information via online search engines such as Google and Naver in everyday life. Recent studies have used online search volume of specific keyword as a measure of the internet users' attention in order to predict disease outbreaks such as flu and cancer, an unemployment rate, and an index of a nation's economic condition, and etc. For stock traders, web search is also one of major information resources to obtain data about individual stock items. Therefore, search volume of a stock item can reflect the amount of investors' attention on it. The investor attention has been regarded as a crucial factor influencing on stock price but it has been measured by indirect proxies such as market capitalization, trading volume, advertising expense, and etc. It has been theoretically and empirically proved that an increase of investors' attention on a stock item brings temporary increase of the stock price and the price recovers in the long run. Recent development of internet environment enables to measure the investor attention directly by the internet search volume of individual stock item, which has been used to show the attention-induced price pressure. Previous studies focus mainly on Dow Jones and NASDAQ market in the United States. In this paper, we investigate the relationship between the individual investors' attention measured by the internet search volumes and stock price changes of individual stock items in the KOSDAQ market in Korea, where the proportion of the trades by individual investors are about 90% of the total. In addition, we examine the difference between industries in the influence of investors' attention on stock return. The internet search volume of stocks were gathered from "Naver Trend" service weekly between January 2007 and June 2015. The regression model with the error term with AR(1) covariance structure is used to analyze the data since the weekly prices in a stock item are systematically correlated. The market capitalization, trading volume, the increment of trading volume, and the month in which each trade occurs are included in the model as control variables. The fitted model shows that an abnormal increase of search volume of a stock item has a positive influence on the stock return and the amount of the influence varies among the industry. The stock items in IT software, construction, and distribution industries have shown to be more influenced by the abnormally large internet search volume than the average across the industries. On the other hand, the stock items in IT hardware, manufacturing, entertainment, finance, and communication industries are less influenced by the abnormal search volume than the average. In order to verify price pressure caused by investors' attention in KOSDAQ, the stock return of the current week is modelled using the abnormal search volume observed one to four weeks ahead. On average, the abnormally large increment of the search volume increased the stock return of the current week and one week later, and it decreased the stock return in two and three weeks later. There is no significant relationship with the stock return after 4 weeks. This relationship differs among the industries. An abnormal search volume brings particularly severe price reversal on the stocks in the IT software industry, which are often to be targets of irrational investments by individual investors. An abnormal search volume caused less severe price reversal on the stocks in the manufacturing and IT hardware industries than on average across the industries. The price reversal was not observed in the communication, finance, entertainment, and transportation industries, which are known to be influenced largely by macro-economic factors such as oil price and currency exchange rate. The result of this study can be utilized to construct an intelligent trading system based on the big data gathered from web search engines, social network services, and internet communities. Particularly, the difference of price reversal effect between industries may provide useful information to make a portfolio and build an investment strategy.

Development of Protein-rich Food Mixtures for Infants and Growing Children in Korea -(4) Nutritional and Biochemical Evaluation of Formulas F-P-5, F-P-6, F-P-7 and storage stability of F-P-4- (유유아(乳幼兒) 및 성장기아동을 위한 영양식품 개발에 관한 연구 -(4) F-P-5, F-P-6 및 F-P-7의 영양학적, 생화학적 검토 및 그 저장성-)

  • From the previous studies, F-P-4 formula was found to be comparable to full fat dry milk in its nutritive value and feeding performance. However, an attempt was made in order to make sure whether or not any possibility might exist, by which further improvement of nutritive quality and simultaneous reduction of product costs may be achieved. Using F-P-4 as a control, modifications were made in new formulas, F-P-5, F-P-6 and F-P-7 by reducing FPC, eliminating yeast from the mixture, and by enriching with methionine as needed. In particular, F-P-7 is completely free of FPC, hydrogenated oil and yeast. Yet, levels of total protein and fat were kept equal to those of F-P-4 in all formulas. An animal feeding test for all formulas using 10 female rats per group for 8 weeks and an infant feeding trial for F-P-5 and F-P-6 with 5 of each female infants under age of one for one month were conducted along with F-P-4 as a control. Almost the same results were obtained with F-P-4, 5 and 6, but F-P-7 showed the lowest body weight gain. FER of F-P-5 and 6 was 0.20 as was with F-P-4, while that of F-P-7 was 0.16. Acceptability to infants was excellent; growth, appearance and biochemical data were normal. As an example F-P-4 packed in 0.04mm polyethylene bags was used for storage study at $25^{\circ}C$ and relative humidity of $65{\sim}85%$ for 8 months. Although viable bacterial counts and vitamin C contents were reduced, peroxide and TBA values were increased gradually during such storage. Since there are also significant changes in color and organoleptic quality, the expected shelf life under the given conditions is considered to be about 2 months and thus further works are needed both on the product and packaging in order to improve the storage stability. Either elimination of yeast form F-P-4, that is F-P-5, or partial replacement of FPC with methionine, that is F-P-6 may well reduce material costs about 10%. Considering blending process of ingredients, F-P-5 is thus found to be the best formula developed. While F-P-7 free of FPC is inferior in its nutritive quality than that of others, but significantly superior than of rice. Furthermore, the material cost of the product can be reduced about 20% from that of F-P-4. And thus this vegetable blend is considered to be useful as a low cost supplementary food mixture for growing children.

Analysis of comparisons of eating-out, dietary lifestyles, and healthy dietary competencies among middle-aged consumers according to obesity status and gender for implications of consumer education (소비자교육을 위한 중년기 소비자의 성별, 비만도별 외식 행동, 식생활 라이프스타일 및 건강한 식생활역량의 차이 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine differences in eating-out, dietary life styles, and healthy dietary competencies among middle-aged consumers according to obesity status and gender for implications of consumer education. Methods: Data were drawn from the 2016 Food Consumption Behavior Survey, and 3,022 subjects (mail 1,388; female 1,634) who were middle-aged adults were investigated. Analysis of variance with $Scheff\acute{e}$ test, t-test, $x^2$-test, and factor analysis were performed using SPSS v.24. Results: Males showed less interest in diet than females. For both males and females, higher BMI degrees were associated with higher levels of interest in diet. For frequency, monthly average consumption expenditure, one-time cost for eating out, and drinking frequency, males showed higher levels than females. Especially for the male group, higher obesity status was associated with higher levels of eating out and drinking. Dietary lifestyles of males and females turned out to be very similar. For the male group, normal weight group was more likely to show 'health and high quality pursuit dietary life-style' than the other groups. For females, the normal weight group were more likely to show 'health and high quality pursuit dietary life-style' and 'safety pursuit dietary life-style' than the other groups. The level of 'healthy dietary competence' for females was found to be higher than that for males. For the female group, there were significant differences according to obesity status, and practice was more important than knowledge in determining a healthy dietary life. Conclusion: For dietary life-related education for obese middle-aged consumers, it is important to emphasize less eating-out and drinking and less overeating while eating-out based on the results that eating-out, drinking, and overeating in the obesity group were significantly higher than in the normal group. It is important to focus on the value of dietary life and diverse foods, based on the results that the obesity group was less likely to be have healthy dietary lifestyles and consume less diverse foods than the normal group.
