A Study on the Learning-Instruction Model for Information Literacy for College Students (대학생의 정보활용능력 교수학습모형 개발에 관한 기초연구)

  • This research has been done to develope a curricular model for the Information Literacy Course as one of liberal arts courses in Korean universities. This curricular model had resulted from investigating the standards and models for Information Literacy at the 4 standards(ACRL in USA, CAUL in Australia ANZILL in Australia and New Zealand, and SCONUL in the United Kingdom), 5 syllabi for Information Literacy used by 5 American universities and 33 syllabi by 23 Korean universities. On the basis of these educational results of the Information Literacy syllabi, a learning-instruction model has come into being for the Information Literacy Course that includes 7 core areas : information sources, information need, information access. information analysis, information management, information transfer and communication, and information ethics.

Development of Web-Based Information Literacy Program for Undergraduate Students and Its Effect Analysis (대학생을 위한 웹기반 정보활용교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과분석)

  • This study intends to develop web-based information literacy program, analyze learning effects and to suggest a model case to those who wants to develop a web-based information literacy program in the future. For this purpose, we analyze undergraduate students' needs, design and develop a web-based information literacy program, and analyze the practical effects of the web-based information literacy program. As a result of research, we found out that both web-based and face-to-face information literacy program are similarly effective in learning and satisfactory to students.

  • To measure the state of instructional programs in school libraries revitalized by the MEST project, teacher-librarians who are members of a provincial library education research committee were asked to respond to a survey and phone interview. The results illustrate that both teacher-librarians and classroom teachers lack a comprehensive understanding of information literacy(IL), and that information literacy instruction(ILI) was implemented in less than half of the surveyed schools. Even in those schools where ILI was implemented, the curriculum was underdeveloped, frequently consisting of little more than basic library orientation programs. The lack of understanding regarding ILI by classroom teachers was specified as a major barrier.

  • 정부에서는 매년 국민의 세금으로 막대한 양의 각종 정보를 생산하여 보유하고 있지만 이들 정보에 대한 효율적인 관리와 검색, 이용서비스가 원활하게 이루어지지 못하여 귀중한 정보가 활용되지 못하고 사장되고 있다. 특히 인터넷의 급격한 보급과 활용으로 다양한 정보이용 환경이 조성되면서 이러한 정부정보에 대한 공동활용이 가능해지고 이에 대한 정보요구가 커지고 있다.

Is the Youth Generation Free from the Digital Divide? -A Study on the Utilization of Mobile Information of the 2030 Youth Generation in Korea- (청년은 정보 활용격차에서 자유로운가? - 한국 2030 청년세대의 모바일 정보 활용에 관한 연구 -)

  • This study aim to demonstrate and categorize the status of level of mobile information utilization of the 2030 youth generation, and to identify factors that may affect the digital divide within the generation. For this purpose, 1779 data were analyzed using materials for the 2018 digital divide survey in Korea Ministry of Science and ICT. According to the level of information utilization, the consumers were categorized into three types : reference group (46.5%), high utilization group (27.2%), and low utilization group (26.3%). There were statistically significant differences in demographics variable, consumer capabilities, living satisfaction by type of consumer. In addition, the factors influencing the digital divide of the high utilization group and low utilization group were identified compared to the reference group. It is meaningful that this study confirmed the actual gap of information utilization and raised the possibility of the digital divide within the 2030 youth generation.

  • Providing web-based information literacy is a new turning point in the library instruction. After 2005 many university libraries are adopted to web-based information literacy. However as a result of research found out that initial problems of introduction to web-based information literacy are shown such as the lack of interest and motivation causing factor, the simplicity of providing method and so on. In order to maximize the effectiveness of web-based information literacy, working out in the way how to use library, how to search, demand of information, information ethics are the factors which should be constructed in the overall content aspect of web-based information literacy. Also, understanding and analysis of the tendency of users through the provision of diversity, flexibility of IT technology is based on a secure, and the need to pursue a variety of media are the factors which should be needed the way how to provide.

  • With the development of the Internet and Information Communication Technology, there has been an increase in the amount of Open Source Intelligence(OSINT). OSINT can be highly effective, if well refined and utilized. Recently, it has been assumed that almost 95% of all information comes from public sources and the utilization of open sources has sharply increased. The ISVG and START programs, for example, collect information about open sources related to terrorism or crime, effectively used to detect terrorists and prevent crime. The open source information related to the cyber attacks is, however, quite different from that in terrorism (or crime) in that it is difficult to clearly identify the attacker, the purpose of attack, and the range of damage. In addition, the data itself of cyber attacks is relatively unstructured. So, a totally new approach is required to establish and utilize an OSINT database for cyber attacks, which is proposed in this paper.

  • Inmitten der Flut der privaten und öffentlichen Information gilt die riesige Informationsmenge als Schlüsselressource im Zeitalter der 4. industriellen Revolution, repräsentiert durch Big-Data. Das Interesse an diesen wächst weltweit. Es gibt eine aktive Diskussion darüber, wie man Daten sichert und akkumuliert und wie man die gesammelten Daten sicher und effektiv nutzt. Gesundheitsdaten werden vor allem als die wertvollste Ressource bewertet, für die Big-DataTechnologie eingesetzt wird. Um Gesundheitsdaten sinnvoll zu nutzen, müssen verteilte Gesundheitsdaten integriert und den Benutzern in einer Form zur Verfügung gestellt werden, die für Forschung oder Inspektion verwendet werden kann. In einer Situation, in der große Länder um den Aufbau bzw. die Führung der Datenwirtschaft konkurrieren, wurden im August 2020 auch in Südkorea die sog. „3-Daten-Gesetze" geändert, die das Datenschutzgesetz(DSG) enthälten. Das DSG führte das Konzept der pseudonymen Informationen ein und baute eine Rechtsgrundlage für deren Verwendung auf. Als Folgemaßnahme kündigte die, Kommission für den Schutz personenbezogener Daten(Personal Information Protection Commission: PIPC)' die „Richtlinien für die Bahandlung mit pseudonymen Informationen" und, Ministerium für Gesundheit und Wohlfahrt' die „Richtlinien für die Verwendung von Gesundheitsdaten" an. Gesundheitsdaten stehen direkt in Zusammenhang mit Leben und Körper des Menschen und damit enthalten viele sensible Daten. Es handelt sich also um ein System, das aus einer vorsichtigeren und konservativeren Sicht unter der Voraussetzung verwendet werden kann, personenbezogene Daten sicherer zu schützen. Um die Hauptinhalte der „Richtlinien für Verwendung von Gesundheitsdaten" zu analysieren, überprüften wir zunächst die Hauptinhalte des überarbeiteten DSG. Danach durch die Analyse der wesentlichen Inhalte der „Richtlinien für Verwendung von Gesundheitsdaten" wurden Probleme wie Konflikte mit anderen Gesetzen und Verbesserungsmaßnahmen überprüft.

  • 21세기 지식정보화 사회에서 분야별 영재교육은 국가적 차원에서 중요한 일이다. 현재 우리나라에서는 각 대학 부설 정보영재 교육원을 중심으로 다양한 정보영재교육이 이루어지고 있으나 아직까지 초등정보영재 교육에 대한 다양하고도 체계적인 연구들은 활발히 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 초등정보영재교육을 이수하고 있는 학생들의 컴퓨터 활용 실태를 조사 분석하고자 한다. 정보영재 학생들과 일반 학생을 대상으로 컴퓨터 활용 실태를 조사하고 그 결과를 비교 분석하여 초등정보영재 학생의 컴퓨터 활용 실태를 연구하였다. 연구 결과는 보다 효율적인 초등정보영재교육 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Lifelong education program that accomplishes local information center lifelong education center assigned among public libraries is surveyed and analyzed by e-learning and off-line program.
