한국어 문서중 신문이나 시사지, 법률관련문서, 경제학관련문서, 국문학관련문서와 같은 전문분야 문서에는 한글, 한자, 영어, 문장부호와 같은 기호들의 결합으로 이루어지면서 하나의 뜻으로 나타내는 "의미적 한 단어"가 많이 존재한다. 이러한 단어들은 이를 고려하지 못한 형태소 분석기의 분석률을 감소시키고, 오분석율을 증가시킨다. 본 논문은 "의미적 한 단어"의 유형과 분석과정에 따른 유형을 분류하였으며 그에 적합한 형태소 분석기법을 제시하였다. 유형 분류과 제사된 형태소 분석기법으로 구현된 형태소 분석기는 기존의 형태소 분석기보다 분석률이 증가되었으며 오분석률은 감소되었다.

질의응답 시스템이 올바른 답변을 제시하기 위해서는 사용자의 의도를 정확하고 강건하게 파악하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 이러한 요구 사항을 만족시키기 위해서 본 논문에서는 실용적 질의응답 시스템을 위한 질의 유형 분류기를 제안한다. 제안된 질의 유형 분류기는 규칙 기반의 방법과 통계 기반의 방법을 접목시킨 하이브리드 방법을 사용한다. 제안된 방법을 사용함으로써 수동으로 규칙을 작성하는 시간을 줄일 수 있었고 정확률을 향상시킬 수 있었으며 안정성을 보장받을 수 있었다. 제안된 방법에 대한 실험에서 질의 유형을 분류하는데 86%의 정확률을 얻었다.

본 논문은 영상미디어에 증강정보를 융합하여 스마트 미디어를 실현하는 방법을 제시한다. 증강정보의 다양한 유형을 대표하는 온톨로지 모델을 설계하고, 온톨로지 기반의 증강정보를 응용하여 스마트 미디어 시스템을 구현하는 개념적 아키텍처를 제시한다.

형용사 분류에 격틀이 중요한 역할을 한다는 주장은 여러 연구에서 제기된 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 격틀이 의미 분류에 기여하는 바를 보다 체계적으로 검토하기 위하여 '격틀집합'을 활용한다. 격틀집합은 한 개의 어휘가 취할 수 있는 격틀의 집합을 말한다. 격틀집합에 근거하여 형용사를 분류할 경우, 의미적으로 연관성이 높은 그룹으로 나뉠 수 있다는 가설을 바탕으로 이러한 가설의 타당성을 검증하고 이를 입증하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 아울러 본 연구에서는 그러한 가설을 검증하기 위한 구체적인 방법론을 제시한다. 격틀집합정보는 세종전자사전에 들어있는 어휘별 격틀정보를 추출하여 활용한다. 본 연구 결과 도출된 총 101개의 격틀집합 중에서 한 개의 격틀만을 갖는 유형과 어휘목록이 5개미만인 유형을 제외한 12개의 격틀집합이 주요 분석 대상으로, 본 연구에서는 그 중에서 6개를 자세히 분석한다. 격틀집합별 어휘들을 살펴보면 의미적 연관성이 파악되지 않는 어휘들도 일부 포함되어 있기는 하나, 대부분은 의미적으로 상관관계가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다 이와 같은 방법론을 통해 국어 형용사 전체의 유형, 더 나아가 국어 용언을 분류하는데 본 연구의 가설과 방법론이 활용될 수 있다.

초고속정보통신망의 구축이 효율적이고 신뢰성 있는 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 위성/지상망을 통합한 혼합망 구조로 개발됨에 따라 지상 광파이버를 기반으로 개발된 ATM 전송프로토콜을 위성망에 직접적으로 적용하기 위한 기술개발이 요구된다. 이러한 점을 고려하여 본 고에서는 위성 ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) 전송에 따른 문제점 분석, 개선방안 및 성능평가를 수행하였다. 혼합망 구성에 따른 위성망의 구조를 접속된 지상노드의 유형 및 위성시스템 특성에 따라 3가지 유형으로 분류하여 제시하였고, 위성 ATM 전송에 따른 기술적인 문제점을 채널 BER과 위성지연 측면으로 분류하여 제시하였다. 위성채널 BER 성능개선을 위한 2가지 방안(인터리빙, HEC 보강)을 제시하였으며 위성지연분석은 고정지연(Fixed delay)과 셀지연변이(CDV : Cell Delay Variation) 측면에서 성능평가를 수행하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate errors on written tests of science, matters, in middle school 7th grade. Errors were defined something you have done which is considered to be incorrect or wrong, or which should not have been done. We found and classified errors, and then examined the frequency of types of errors on the written tests. A total of 167 test items from 10 middle schools were analyzed for this study. Errors on the written tests were classified into 5 types: insufficient information; unnecessary information; inaccurate information; information against curriculum; and unclear information. A total of 81 errors were counted out of 167 test items. The results of this study are expected to help teachers develop written test items to convey definite meanings by text and would be used as basic information for improving written test item standards.

While a significant number of user-related models have been presented in Human Information Behavior (HIB) research community, the basic assumption of the present study is most of those models including information interaction models are multi-domain models associated with comprehensive research components. Based on such an assumption, this study discusses the shortcomings of multi-domain models and proposes the need to present a new type of model. Accordingly, the study elaborates four essential models of HIB reach community and presents a new type of model based on Specific Domain Focus Modeling (SDFM). As an example of such modeling, this study presents the present author's information retrieval interaction model based on the degree of connections between systems and information resources.

This study was performed in order to derive components that users with disabilities demand first when using library services by analyzing the actual usages and demands of handicapped users according to different types of disabilities. The results of the study are as follows: First, the actual situation of library disabled users was analyzed according to types of disabilities. Second, the importance and satisfaction level of disability types were investigated for the main components of the library disability service. Third, major components of library services were analyzed using Borich's Needs Assessment Model for the disabled and ways of activating library services by types were suggested. Fourth, we analyzed the differences according to different purposes of use by the disabled within Borich's Model for the main items of library services. We also proposed a plan to meet the purpose of library use by each type. Fifth, we analyzed the differences by type of users in Borich's Model for the major items of library services and thus suggested solutions to improve library services by types of disabilities.

The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the characteristics of online catalogs' interface of elementary school libraries, and to propose how to design user-friendly interfaces. The online catalogs of elementary school libraries are categorized into 6 types. Such topics as the features of search methods, the record display formats, the terminology usage, and the special features of the 6 types are discussed. Some shortcomings are examined and how to improve them is suggested.

To investigate the characteristics of Korean researchers who have published journal articles in the international Library and Information Science (LIS) journals, we analyzed the types of institutions of the authors and their disciplines by publication year and journal type. Specifically, we analyzed 819 pieces of author information from 384 articles published between 2005 and 2014 in 31 journals using the existing categories, allowing comparisons of research trends between past and current and between Korean and international researchers. In addition, we used a co-authorship credit allocation method to calculate the credits of individual authors in an accurate manner, and found that 342.6 of 384 papers were contributed by solely Korean researchers. We demonstrated that the internationality and quality of Korean LIS research has increased during this time. In particular, authors who were affiliated with universities took the lead in publishing papers, and we presented that the nature of research might be related to the type of author affiliation. Based on the disciplinary backgrounds of the researchers, we also suggest that LIS research is associated with such disciplines, computer science, management, and communications.
