The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of psychobiographical information on the attitude change toward mentally ill people. For this, 30 college students were randomly assigned to one group that received a psychobiographical information(PBI) and the other group a psycho-pathological information(PPI). Measures of attitude change were favorability, reliability, and social distance. The results were significantly different only in social distance between the two groups. Within each group, there was a significant change in favorability only in the psycho-pathological information group, and there was a significant change in the favorability, reliability and social distance in the psychobiographical information group. These results are significant in that they have empirically confirmed that a psychobiographical approach can be effective in changing attitudes toward mentally ill people.

인터넷이 발전함에 따라 교육의 형태가 오프라인 서비스에서 온라인 학습 서비스로 확장되어 있는 추세이다. 따라서 인터넷에서의 교육이 하나의 교육의 형태로 자리 잡게 되었다. 사이버 학습을 통한 교육은 방대한 학습 자료를 학습자의 학습정도나 일정에 맞는 맞춤형태의 서비스가 중요하다. 이러한 학습 컨텐츠 기반의 인터넷 사이버 학습은 기존치 오프라인에서 사용한 컨텐츠를 유기적으로 통합하여 온라인에서 제공하는 것이 큰 관건이 되어지고 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 XML을 이용하여 기존의 인터넷 가상학습을 XML을 기반으로 하여 오프라인에서의 컨텐츠를 온라인에 적용하여 학습자에 학습 환경을 보다 폭 널게 제공하였다. 또한 학습자의 학습 정도를 유지하고 파악할 수 있게 학습자의 학습 현황정보를 유지하여 맞춤형 사이버학습을 구현하였다.

본 논문에서는 영어 회화 교육을 위한 예제 기반 대화 시스템에 대해 논한다. 기존의 획일적인 멀티미디어 영어 학습에서 벗어나 자연어 처리 및 대화 기술을 이용하여 지능적인 일대일 영어 회화 교육 제공을 목적으로 한다. 본 시스템은 미숙한 학습자 발화를 이해할 수 있으므로 불완전한 언어 구사 능력으로도 대화를 참여할 수 있는 체험형 학습을 제공한다. 이를 통해 학습자에게 영어를 배우려는 흥미로운 동기를 부여한다. 또한 학습자의 표현력 향상을 위한 교육적인 도움 기능을 갖추고 있다. 이를 위해 우리는 학습자의 미숙한 표현을 이해하는 통계 기반의 언어 이해 모듈, 도메인 확장성이 뛰어난 예제 기반 대화 관리 모듈, 교육 및 평가 기능을 개발하였다.

e-Learning 교육관리시스템은 다양한 교육 정보와 평가를 바탕으로 빠르게 확산되고 있다. 학습자의 학습 동기와 평가 성취도를 높이기 위한 연구와 기술들이 많이 적용되었다. 그러나 대부분의 교육관리시스템은 동일한 학습 내용을 일방적으로 제공하며, 학습 영역에 맞는 난이도별 문제를 추출해 제공하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습자의 사전진단평가와 설문조사를 바탕으로 하여 수준을 결정하고, 그에 따른 학습 영역의 내용과 문제를 난이도별 문항수를 적용, 추출하여 학습 동기와 학습 성취도를 극대화할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 본 연구의 시스템은 학습자 수준에 따른 난이도별 문항수 비율을 비례하게 적용하여 흥미도를 최대화하여, 학습 내용과 문제를 재사용하여 피드백 학습을 할 수 있도록 하였다.

In distributed computing platforms like CORBA, wrappers are used to integrate heterogeneous systems or databases. A spatial data provider is one of the wrappers because it provides clients with uniform access interfaces to diverse data sources. The individual implementation of spatial data providers for each of different data sources is not efficient because of redundant coding of the wrapper modules. This paper presents a new architecture of the spatial data provider which consists of two layered objects : independent wrapper components and dependent wrapper components. Independent wrapper components would be reused for implementing a new data provider for a new data source, which dependent wrapper components should be newly coded for every data source. This paper furthermore discussed the issues of implementing the representation of query results in the middleware. There are two methods of keeping query results in the middleware. One is to keep query results as non-CORBA objects and the other is to transform query results into CORBA objects. The evaluation of the above two methods shows that the cost of making CORBA objects is very expensive.

실종자는 계속 늘어나는 추세이다. 경찰에서의 실종자 찾는 인력이 부족한 상황이다. 특히 청소년 실종과 달리 성인 실종의 경우 위치정보 파악과 같은 지원을 받기 힘들다. 또한 성인 실종의 경우 단순 가출의 경우가 많아 범죄 가능성이 없을 경우 실종자 탐색에 있어 후순위로 밀린다. 그에 따라 본 논문은 실종자 웹 탐색 시스템을 개발하여 실종자 가족은 실종자를 등록할 수 있게 제공해주며, 실종자정보를 손쉽게 공유할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 목격자는 실종자를 목격했을 경우 제보하기를 통해서 목격된 정보를 추가할 수 있도록 하였다. 목격자가 제보를 할 경우에는 해당 실종자 가족에게 연락을 가도록 구현하였다.

정보기술의 발전은 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 학습자와 전문가의 상호작용을 이루어주는 온라인 기반 교육서비스인 이러닝을 대학도서관에서 이용자에게 온라인 서비스로 제공하기 시작했다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관에서 제공하는 이러닝 콘텐츠의 현황을 설립유형, 지역별, 규모별로 구분하여 비교 분석하는 것이다. 이를 통해 오늘날 대학도서관에서 중점적으로 제공하는 이러닝 콘텐츠를 파악하여 향후 이용자의 대학도서관 이러닝 콘텐츠 선호도와 만족도 등의 연구에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

전력 및 전화 서비스와 같은 저속의 댁내 망 구축에서 서비스 품질을 보장하는 다양한 대역폭의 멀티미디어 및 멀티포인트 서비스를 효율적으로 제공할 수 있는 댁내 망 구축 및 동영상 압축 기술 및 디지털 신호처리 기술의 발전으로 인해 댁내의 디지털 가전 기기들이 고속의 통신 기능이 탑재되는 정보 가전으로 발전하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 활발히 다양한 댁배 망 서비스를 제공하고 잇는 RBB서비스 제공자들의 현황을 알아보고, 액세스 망을 통한 서비스와 댁내에서의 통신 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 댁내 망이 갖추어야할 조건을 분석한다. 또한, 앞으로 댁내 망 일반 사용자들이 이용하게 될 댁내외 서비스를 만족시키기 위한 서비스 요구사항에 대하여 기술한다.

증강현실은 가상세계와 현실세계를 혼합한 기술로, 현재 여러 분야에서 증강현실을 접목한 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 건설 산업은 복잡한 설계와 시설물을 기반으로 모든 업무가 행해지는 특징으로 인해 증강현실의 활용 가능성이 높은 분야로 주목되고 있다. 스마트폰을 이용하여 교량의 정보를 제공하는 증강현실 기반 교량 정보 시스템(InfoBridge)은 사용자들에게 많은 정보를 제공하기 위해서 최적화된 데이터베이스 모델링이 필요하다. 많은 사용자들이 원하는 정보를 찾을 때 정보의 누락이 없어야 하고 빠른 검색을 통해서 정보를 제공 받아야 한다. 또한 관리자는 사용자가 원하는 정보를 정확하게 제공하기 위해서 데이터베이스의 최신화가 필수이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 증강현실 기반 교량 정보 시스템의 데이터베이스 설계를 제안한다. 우리나라에 있는 많은 교량들의 내/외적인 정보를 데이터베이스에 담기 위해서는 적절한 설계가 필요하며 이러한 설계를 통해서 정보의 빠른 검색, 데이터베이스의 효과적인 유지보수를 제공한다.

WebDAV is a protocol to support collaboration among the workers in geographically distant locations through the Internet. WebDAV extends the web communication protocol HTTP/1.1 to provide a standard infrastructure for supporting asynchronous collaboration for various contents across the Internet. To provide the WebDAV functionality in legacy applications such as web-based collaborative systems or document management systems, those systems need to be implemented additionally to handle the WebDAV methods and headers information. In this paper, we developed an Apache-based WebDAV server, named DAVinci(WebDAV Is New Collaborative web-authoring Innovation)which supports the WebDAV specification. DAVinci was implemented as a form of service provider on a mod_dav Apache module. Mod_day, which is an Apache module, is an open source module to provide WebDAV capabilities in an Apache web server. We used a file system for storing resources and the PostgreSQL database for their properties. In addition, the system provides a consistency manager to guarantee that both resources and properties are maintained without inconsistency between resources and their properties.
