This research aims to provide a building area extraction approach over the areas where data acquisition is impossible through field surveying, aerial photography and lidar scanning. Hence, high-resolution satellite images, which have high accessibility over the earth, are utilized for the automated building extraction in this study. 3D point clouds or DSM (Digital Surface Models), derived from the stereo image matching process, provides low quality of building area extraction due to their high level of noises and holes. In this regards, this research proposes a hybrid building area extraction approach which utilizes 3D point clouds (from image matching), and color and linear information (from imagery). First of all, ground and non-ground points are separated from 3D point clouds; then, the initial building hypothesis is extracted from the non-ground points. Secondly, color based building hypothesis is produced by considering the overlapping between the initial building hypothesis and the color segmentation result. Afterwards, line detection and space partitioning results are utilized to acquire the final building areas. The proposed approach shows 98.44% of correctness, 95.05% of completeness, and 1.05m of positional accuracy. Moreover, we see the possibility that the irregular shapes of building areas can be extracted through the proposed approach.

Public transportation ridership and walkability of urban district can be enhanced through high quality of TOD(Transit Oriented Development) elements. Generally, TOD have been evaluated several physical components such as the diversity of land use pattern, accessibility of public transportation and aspects of urban design around the station area. Especially, Spatial characteristics of TOD planning elements have many potential dependent when considering the characteristics of Rail Station-Influenced Area Development which is performing around subway station. Therefore, researchers should be considering the variation of spatial properties for planning elements according the set of spatial area and their socioeconomic factors. However, existing many cases related TOD does not consider about this point. In this paper, the changes of TOD characteristics were analyzed by different spatial units surrounding subway station in Busan Metropolitan City. Multiple Regression Analysis was performed for an investigation of effective spatial unit of TOD planning elements in this area using subway ridership data. In addition, the application validity of socioeconomic variables was examined through a comparative analysis of regression results with the multiple regression that implied only physical TOD elements. As the result, the variation of spatial properties for TOD planning elements according to the set of spatial unit was found. Furthermore, the specific spatial unit to applicable TOD elements in this area was derived. And the multiple regression model which added socioeconomic variables was derived more improved estimate results than the multiple regression model that implied only physical TOD elements.

Purpose: The purpose of the Activation of Public Transportation by Analysis of Factors Influencing Satisfaction of Commuting Hours in the Metropolitan Area. Method: This study analyzed the factors affecting wide-area commuting time and satisfaction for office workers who perform wide-area commuting. Result: in the case of commuting satisfaction for wide-area commuting hours by region, commuting time satisfaction was relatively low in the metropolitan area as the average commuting time was high, and commuting time satisfaction was relatively high in the non-metropolitan area as the average commuting time was low. Conclusion: In the future, the government will establish or improve express railways and wide-area buses to reduce wide-area commuting time, and build urban highways to shorten passenger car use time, which will reduce commuting time, but qualitative indicators are more important. In other words, even if commuting time is long, life satisfaction increases, so quality of life is important, and it is necessary to improve commuting time satisfaction rather than simple indicators of commuting time, so both qualitative and quantitative aspects of commuting time need to be improved.

The purpose of this study is to find factors that Incheon International Airport should focus on and improve in order to have hub-competitiveness through economic zone centered on airport. Text analytics was conducted on online review written by passengers who used world class transit airport to derive environmental factors. After that, we select 15 major factors among the derived environmental factors based on the previous studies. This study used IPA analysis for experts in aviation field to investigate the importance and performance of the factors. Results showed that performance was evaluated to be lower than importance in all factors, and accessibility(convenience, diversity, cost and time), free economic zone and various shopping facilities were top 3 factors to be specifically improved. This study is meaningful in that it can understand passengers' perceptions by using the advantages of text analysis and surveys method. The result of study can be used to establish policy and strategic directions to solidify the position of hub airports in the future.

In this article, legislational and economic meaning of Marine Pollution Prevention Law (MPPL) of North Korea was studied with review and comparison of North Korea's environmental legislation system. North Korea's MPPL is the basic legislation system against pollution activities. This law has the purpose of gaining of marine environmental protection and resources and declares mainly the marine environmental protection with little definition of action plan and means. To analyze economic achievements of MPPL, more macro- and microeconomic data of North Korea should be accumulated. However, environmental issues are relatively effective to discuss common goal of environmental protection and economical cooperation between Korea and North Korea. To prepare reunification, understanding of North Korea's MPPL is the first step for collaboration of marine environmental conservation.

The purpose of this study was to explore the possibility of creating barrier-free exhibition-appreciation environment based on the visually impaired person's perspectives. Participants were selected by the purposeful sampling method. Researchers conducted a couple of in-depth interviews with four visually impaired persons. Yin's case study method was employed to analyze qualitative information. The analysis revealed nine sub-themes in two sections: three from 'accessibility within the exhibition room'; and six from 'demand for immersive exhibition environment.' Based on the results, following suggestions were presented: First, we need to provide quality information appropriate for artworks-appreciation; secondly, to ensure the visually impaired people to appreciate the culture and arts without any barrier, we need to extend certification of barrier-free living environment to exhibition-appreciation area. Finally, to facilitate these two tasks we need to encourage the convergence research among science and technology, humanities and society, and culture and arts.

In this knowledge information society, it cannot be too much to accentuate the necessity and importance of computer education. However, the current computer education in elementary school only focuses on computer application and utilization. It is not satisfactory to the needs of knowledge information society to improve mechanic office operation and/or to provide simple utilization of educational software through learning the application software functions. Therefore, based on creative and logical thought, it is necessary at this era to prepare computer education as the essence of science to create new values and to embody knowledge by understanding social and cultural environment of knowledge information society that is continuously in change and development. Accordingly, this study presents the necessity of change based on problems of computer education, and investigates field teacher's opinion on the direction of change in elementary computer curriculum in this knowledge information society. Also, this study presents a computer education curriculum for elementary school students by focusing on a comparison between our current elementary computer curriculum and that of North Carolina and of California in the United States.

In-Vehicle Infotainment provides navigation and various functions through the installation of the application. And infotainment is very important to control the entire vehicle by sending commands to the ECU. Infotainment supports a variety of wireless communication protocols to install and update applications. So Infotainment is becoming an attack surface through wireless communcation protocol for hacker's access. If malicious software is installed in infotainment, it can gain control of the vehicle and send a malicious purpose command to the ECU, affecting the life of the driver. Therefore, measures are needed to verify the security and reliability of infotainment software updates, and security requirements must be derived and verified. It must be developed in accordance with SDL to provide security and reliability, and systematic security requirements must be derived by applying threat modeling. Therefore, this paper conducts threat modeling to derive infotainment update security requirements. Also, the security requirements are mapped to the Common Criteria to provide criteria for updating infotainment software.

This study analyzed the Beopmaru, Supreme Court Library of Korea, circulation data to identify user lending patterns and proposed a plan to reflect the analysis results in future user services. In 2022, Beopmaru's collection of books was 212,608, with law books accounting for 73%. However, general books accounted for 83% of actual circulation. Looking at the usage coefficient by topic, the literature field was the most actively used at 5.85, and the law field was the least used at 0.23. In the case of interlibrary loan, both KERIS member institutions and the Korean Bar Association had the highest loan ratios in the legal field, civil law field, and judicial litigation procedure field, in that order. However, member institutions affiliated with KERIS, a legal academic community, were lending law books on a wider range of subject areas than the Korean Bar Association, a practical organization. To improve access to legal information, the Beopmaru public service was implemented, but in reality, the use of reading space was high, and the proportion of general books loaned was much higher. In order to improve this, it seems necessary to strengthen the promotion of Beopmaru loan services, provide personalized services, improve book lending regulations, strengthen online services, and establish a cooperative network.

This paper develops a business model analysis framework and suggests a step-wise approach to the exploration of new business models. Three generic business model components, Value Change Model, Value Connection Model, and Value Complement Model, are identified based on their value propositions, and a composite of them, called Value Combination Model, is proposed. In order to integrate various value propositions from these business models, a business model analysis framework is also suggested. In order to test its real-world applicability, a case study is performed on the WLAN services and the effectiveness of the framework as a business model analysis tool is demonstrated.
