ITS(Intelligent Transportation System)는 H/W 중심의 차량 및 교통 기반 기설에 통신.전자.제어.컴퓨터 등 S/W 중심의 기술을 적용하여, 각 차량 및 교통 시설(신호등, 도로, 교통 안내 표지판, 도로 상황판 등)들이 상호 보완적으로 작동할 수 있게 함으로써, 기존의 도로 교통 시설의 이용 효과를 극대화하고, 그 안정성을 향상시키며, 교통 수요 관리를 목적으로 사용자에게 교통 정보를 제공하는 지능형 종합 기술 체계이다. 이러한 최첨단 도로교통 관리의 ITS를 이용한 서비스는 각 나라마다 달리 정의되는데, 우리나라에서는 첨단교통관리시스템(ATMS), 첨단교통정보시스템(ATIS), 상용차량 운행관리 시스템(CVO), 차량 및 도로 시스템(AVCS) 그리고 첨단 대중교통 시스템(APTS)의 5개 분야로 나누어진다(1). 이 다섯가지 ITS 서비스 시스템은 공통적으로 정보 수집, 정보 처리, 정보 전달, 정보 통신 기능을 가지고 있다. 즉, 각종 검지기, 차량 단말, 노변 단말 등의 수집 장치에서 수집된 정보(정보 수집)는 관련 통신 방식(정보 통신)을 통하여 중앙 정보 처리 센터에 전달되어 그 서비스 요구 사항에 따라 처리(정보 처리)되고, 생성된 정보는 해당되는 통신 채널을 거쳐(정보 통신) 각종 사용자 단말기에게 제공(정보 전달)된다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 ITS체계의 정의, 목표 및 서비스 종류에 대하여 설명하였으며 교통 정보를 수집하고 처리하여 전달하는 과정과 이에 요구되는 통신 체계에 대하여 알아본다.

The objective of this paper is to propose the bus information system that provides bus passenger number. Recently, we use a bus conveniently through introduction of bus information system offering location-based information. However, we need additional information for decision making in order to use a bus comfortably. To do this, first, we analyzed the needs of providing passenger number; second, we adopted GPS and RFID type's transportation card to get location and passenger number. Finally, we implemented the system displaying that information by three types, and tested it. Our proposed system has advantages to use a bus comfortably and to manage a bus efficiently by providing bus passenger number which is the important element for decision making as well as location based information provided by existing bus information systems.

This paper recommends the use of information processing models for student's information literacy education. The author mantions that the proper use of an information processing model help enhance students' self-study, creativity, and academic attainment as psychological tools. An information processing model helps also students reach the Information literacy standards set by AASL and AECT. The author attempts to show the important linkage between the practical application of information technologies during the use of an information processing model and the attainment of the Information literacy standards.

This study is to propose national information security policies based on the policy framework, which has four components: government, industry/company, individual, and environments. According to the framework, the four policy agenda are derived: national information security governance scheme, information security industry competitiveness and corporate security level enhancement, eco-system for security professionals, and finally related laws & regulations modification and security culture movement. Specific issues and policies in each agenda are proposed.

The authors of this study tried to explore the current status of the levels of information literacy of foreign students in Korea where many foreign students, mainly from several Asian countries, have been moving continuously into various universities. To do this, a survey was conducted of 202 Chinese students enrolled in universities in Busan and its neighboring area. They responed that their level of information literacy was slightly above the middle range and that the fields of 'information ethics' and 'information communication technology' were relatively high whereas 'information production, communication and sharing' and 'information investigation and search' were relatively low.

최근 정보기술을 기반으로 하는 원격교육에 대한 관심이 집중되는 것은 무엇보다 교육의 저비용.고효율 구조를 실현할 수 있는 대안교육의 하나이기 때문이다. 그러나 정보기술을 매개로 하는 원격교육의 효과에 대해서는 누구도 장담할 수 없는 입장이다. 정보기술의 활용이 필수적인 원격교육 환경에서 학습자들이 정보기술 자체에 대한 두려움으로 인해 수업에 대한 거부감을 나타낸다. "시작이 곧 그 절반이다" 라는 속담처럼, 원격교？ㄱ의 기본 도구인 정보기술에 대한 첫인상은 교육의 성과에 대해 큰 영향을 미칠 것이다. 정보기수의 수용과 사용에 있어서 개인적인 차이를 설명할 수 있는 중요한 개념중의 하나가 정보기술 자기효용감(IT Self-efficacy) 자신의 정보기술 사용능력에 대한 믿음 또는 자신감이다. 교수자가 정보기술 자기효능감의 중요성을 인식하고 이에 영향을 미치는 변인들을 파악할 수 있다면 학습자의 정보기술 자기효능감을 개발시키고 고무시킬 수 있는 훨씬 나은 교수설계를 할 수 있을것이고 효과적인 수업이 가능할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자기 효능감이론(Self-Efficiency Theory)에 근거하여 정보기술 자기효능감이라는 개념을 소개함과 동시에 정보기술을 매개로 이루어지는 원격교육 환경하에서 그 역할을 조명해봄으로써 효과적인 교수설계를 위한 틀을 제시하고자한다.을 제시하고자한다.

OASIS의 ebXML 레지스트리는 e-비즈니스 컨텐츠 및 이에 대한 표준화된 메타-데이터를 안전하게 저장 및 관리하는 정보 시스템이다. ebXML 레지스트리 내의 e-비즈니스 정보에 대한 메타-데이터의 스키마는 OASIS 표준문서에 미리 정의되어 있으며, 이를 ebXML 레지스트리 정보모델(RIM: Registry information Model)이라 한다. 한편, 전자상거래 환경에서 시맨틱 정보 처리 기술을 도입하여 보다 효율적이고 원활한 상거래를 지원하기 위한 노력의 일환으로, 기존 ebXML 레지스트리에 온톨로지 기반의 시맨틱 정보를 관리 혹은 처리하는 기능을 추가하려는 연구에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는, OWL 시맨틱 정보 구성자(semantic construct)로 표현된 온톨로지 데이터가 ebXML 레지스트리 내에 관리될 수 있도록 새로운 ebXML 레지스트리 정보 모델, 즉 시맨틱 정보 모델(SIM: Semantic Information Model)을 제시한다. 이를 기반으로 ebXML 레지스트리 내에서 온톨로지 정보의 추론을 이용한 지능형 정보 처리가 가능해진다. 본 논문에서는 온톨로지 데이터를 위한 새로운 ebXML 레지스트리 정보 모델을 제안하며, 아울러 온톨로지 정보 추론을 활용한 지식 처리의 예를 제시한다.

AIS(Automatic Identification System) is a key of maritime information system to prevent maritime accident through communication among any adjacent ship and to establish information base by fusing information collected from ships with other information. The AIS information includes various potential information, but it is not easy to use due to insufficiency storing and management. Furthermore, we need AIS transponders to acquire the information. In this paper, we propose the vessel positional information service using AIS and XML. We decode the AIS information from the NMEA-0183 encoding data and store the AIS information to the database and provide the access service in the internet using XML.

최근에 지리 정보를 검색, 관리, 분석 할 수 있는 지리 정보 시스템(Geographic Information System, CIS)의 사용이 확대됨에 따라 단순한 수치지도 정보 이외에 좀 더 현실적이고, 사실적인 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있는 시스템에 대한 요구가 커지고 있으며 이동통신 기술의 발달과 모바일 단말의 급속한 확산으로 인하여 지리 정보 시스템의 모바일 시스템화가 급속히 진행중이다. 이러한 현상에 맞추어 무선 인터넷 환경에서 공간 객체의 실제 영상 정보를 보여주는 시스템의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 현장에서 공간 객체에 대한 영상 정보를 검색 할 수 있는 시스템은 현실적 모습 및 상태에 대한 정보를 실시간으로 제공해 줄 수 있어. 공간 객체의 실제 모습이 필요한 여러 분석이나 의사결정이 필요한 분야에서 효율적으로 이용될 수 있다. 공간 객체의 실제 영상 정보를 제공하기 위해 현재 영상을 고려하는 지리 정보 시스템이 개발 중이기는 하나, 이러한 시스템들은 무선 인터넷 환경을 고려하지 않고 있어, 현장에서 공간 객체에 대한 영상을 효율적으로 얻기에는 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 무선 인터넷 환경에서의 공간 객체에 대한 영상 정보 검색 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 위 해 1) 수치 지도 및 영상, 그리고 그 매핑 정보의 구축 방안을 제시한다. 그리고, 2) 제안된 시스템을 전체적으로 설계 및 구현함으로써, 그 유용성을 보인다.

The study examines research themes, the relationship with other disciplines, and disciplinary organization of Information Science n order to analyze general research patterns in the field of Information Science. The methods used for this study is subject analysis of the journal articles and citation analysis. In result, it is found that most researchers in Information Science have studied on 'library-related information science'. But the study also finds the research pattern shift from library-related study to computer-related study.
