An Improved Multi-Keyword Search Protocol to Protect the Privacy of Outsourced Cloud Data (아웃소싱된 클라우드 데이터의 프라이버시를 보호하기 위한 멀티 키워드 검색 프로토콜의 개선)

  • There is a growing tendency to outsource sensitive or important data in cloud computing recently. However, it is very important to protect the privacy of outsourced data. So far, a variety of secure and efficient multi-keyword search schemes have been proposed in cloud computing environment composed of a single data owner and multiple data users. Zhang et. al recently proposed a search protocol based on multi-keyword in cloud computing composed of multiple data owners and data users but their protocol has two problems. One is that the cloud server can illegally infer the relevance between data files by going through the keyword index and user's trapdoor, and the other is that the response for the user's request is delayed because the cloud server has to execute complicated operations as many times as the size of the keyword index. In this paper, we propose an improved multi-keyword based search protocol which protects the privacy of outsourced data under the assumption that the cloud server is completely unreliable. And our experiments show that the proposed protocol is more secure in terms of relevance inference between the data files and has higher efficiency in terms of processing time than Zhang's one.

  • The goal of this paper is to offer a quantitative decision model using Quality Function Deployment(QFD). We consider the factors outsourcing that affect the benefits of the organization and the fifth alternatives that were selected to be considered for outsourcing as customer requirements and technical attributes in QFD. For selecting the outsourcing system, we compute the priority considering interdependencies among alternatives. Thus this paper propose a decision model, which uses the quality function deployment to help practitioners set priority and users in structuring the outsourcing problems.

  • This study attempts to understand factors influencing the persistence of companie's outsourcing arrangements using the techniques of survival analysis. It provides an insight into the dynamics of outsourcing relationships between clients and vendors. This is particularly relevant considering that current IS sourcing arrangements are strategic and long term, and require close interdependent relationships between the client and the vendor.

  • 본 연구에서는 지속적인 증가 및 확대 추세에 있으나 여전히 많은 실패를 겪고 있는 SDO(Software Development Outsourcing) 프로젝트의 성과 향상을 위해 SDO 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구가설의 검증을 위해 SDO 경험이 있는 고객사의 정보시스템 인력을 대상으로 현장 설문조사를 실시하여 214개의 설문을 수집, 분석에 이용하였다. 분석 결과, SDO의 성과에는 벤더의 힘과 고객사 요구사항의 불변성, 목표의 명확성 그리고 목표의 일치 정도가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 SDO의 실패를 낮추고 성공 가능성을 높이는 데 효과적으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

An Efficient Top-k Query Processing Algorithm over Encrypted Outsourced-Data in the Cloud (아웃소싱 암호화 데이터에 대한 효율적인 Top-k 질의 처리 알고리즘)

  • Recently top-k query processing has been extremely important along with the explosion of data produced by a variety of applications. Top-k queries return the best k results ordered by a user-provided monotone scoring function. As cloud computing service has been getting more popular than ever, a hot attention has been paid to cloud-based data outsourcing in which clients' data are stored and managed by the cloud. The cloud-based data outsourcing, though, exposes a critical secuity concern of sensitive data, resulting in the misuse of unauthorized users. Hence it is essential to encrypt sensitive data before outsourcing the data to the cloud. However, there has been little attention to efficient top-k processing on the encrypted cloud data. In this paper we propose a novel top-k processing algorithm that can efficiently process a large amount of encrypted data in the cloud. The main idea of the algorithm is to prune unpromising intermediate results at the early phase without decrypting the encrypted data by leveraging an order-preserving encrypted technique. Experiment results show that the proposed top-k processing algorithm significantly reduces the overhead of client systems from 10X to 10000X.

  • 21세기에 접어들면서 기업의 경영환경은 급속한 속도로 변화하고 있다. 이러한 급격한 환경변화 속에서 기업이 핵심역량에 집중하고 기업의 경쟁력을 극대화하기 위해 기업의 정보관련 시스템 및 어플리케이션을 아웃소싱하기 위해 사용하는 개념이 ASP 서비스이다. ASP 서비스는 기업내부에 정보시스템 전담 조직을 갖추지 않고서도 각종 소프트웨어를 저렴한 값에 사용할 수 있고, 기업 자체의 전산시스템 및 운영 전담인력이 필요없으며, 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어를 구입할 필요성이 없는 등 여러 가지 이점을 가지고 있어 최근들어 기업들로 하여금 큰 논의와 함께 많은 투자가 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 ASP 서비스의 개념이 비교적 최근에 등장한 개념이기 때문에 관련 연구들이 개념정립이나 도입 의사결정 요인에 관한 연구에 머무르고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 배경하에서 본 연구는 첫째, ASP 서비스에 대한 체계적인 연구를 통해 ASP 서비스의 개념에 대한 명확한 이해를 제공하고, 기업의 정보화 추진 방법으로서 ASP 서비스가 가지는 가능성을 분석해 보고 둘째, 기업이 ASP 서비스를 도입하고 운영함에 있어서 성공적인 수행에 어떠한 요인들이 중요한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보기 위해 개념적인 모형을 도출해 보고자 한다.

  • As a result of the fast development of Information communication technology, the competitive advantage of companies and the service quality of nonprofit organizations has been largely changed. Corresponding to this kind of change, companies have tried to make production improvement, competitive strengthening, and organizational innovation. Meanwhile, the nonprofit organizations directed by the government are pursuing the service innovation from general administration area to the public service for civilians. In relation to this, risk management of the company's information systems outsourcing has largely been studied until now. However, the study of risk management for nonprofit organization information systems outsourcing has rarely been made. In this paper, to provide the theoretical base for further research, we have attempted to develop the evaluation framework for risk management of information systems outsourcing considering the characteristics of nonprofit organizations.

  • The interest in SLA in accordance with the development of IT outsourcing has increased due to the rapid development of information systems. Moreover, an awareness and necessity for the Information System Operating Audit has increased while an effective IT service management operations for information systems is needed desperately. However, information system operations and maintenance instructions of the National Information Society Agency operates due to the current information system operation, but the experience and the interpretation of the auditor determine the decision in the field. This paper introduces an operating audit model for the efficient management. This model is derived from the Korea Information Society Agency's operating instructions of the Information Systems Audit and their inspection services. The audit checklists were derived from the areas of service planning, service delivery, service support, and service management. Consequently, the operating audit model was proposed, and the suitability of this model was verified by experts' opinions on the survey.

  • 최근 모바일 사용자의 안전한 위치기반 서비스의 사용을 위한 아웃소싱 데이터베이스에서 객체 및 사용자의 위치 정보를 보호하는 연구가 위치 데이터를 보호하기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기존 연구는 불필요한 객체 정보를 요구하기 때문에, 높은 질의 처리 시간을 지니는 단점을 지닌다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 기준 POI를 중심으로 객체의 방향성 정보와 변환된 거리를 이용하여, 사용자와 객체의 정보를 보호하는 k-최근접 질의처리 알고리즘을 제안한다.
