The purpose of this study is to explore essential factors of influencing user's usage intentions on telematics services and to find relationships among factors. This study derives several variables and hypotheses through literature reviews on the extended research model based on Davis's Technology Acceptance Model. With the objective of statistical verification, derived variables were sorted into meaningful categories through various statistical packages. These were included multiple regression analysis to improve the reliability of survey data. The demand analysis was conducted by targeting on users who have previously experienced telematics services. Indicated analyzed results which 'suitability', 'localization', and 'instant connectivity' variables were positively related to the user's usage intentions, especially accuracy of information variable. The factors of influencing the usage intention on telematics services can be useful empirical data in order to analyze the market trends and to suggest industrial or political guideline of telematics services.

Because of the increased interest in health, medical care, and wellness, the utilization of health-related information resources, especially those found on the Internet, has been rapidly increasing. In addition, despite encountering an increasing number of health and medical-related reference questions in public libraries, public librarians feel limitations in their ability to perform these types of reference services. Therefore, this study proposed the cooperative network system model for vitalizing CHI Services, meaning that all the related agencies, including public libraries, medical libraries, medical institutions, and the health and medical community collaboratively provide consumer health information service. This study presented in detail the key elements of the cooperation model, the subject of cooperation, target sources for cooperation, the content of cooperation, operations of CHI-providing sites, operations and roles of Cooperation Centers, and directions for cooperating with commercial institutions.

이동망 착신접속료의 합리적 산정, 이동망 설비 공동사용 대가 산정 및 보편적서비스 비용산정 둥 다양한 필요성에 따라 이동망 원가를 합리적으로 산정하기 위한 다양한 방법과 모형들이 제시되고 있다. 하지만 대부분 이미 개발된 고정망의 원가모형을 변형하여 이동망에 적용하고 있는 실정이다. 분명히 이동망과 고정망은 기술적 차이로 인하여 원가구조에 미치는 영향이 서로 다르다. 본 고에서는 합리적인 원가모형 구축을 위해 이동망의 망 구조와 구성요소, 서비스 원가 계산을 위한 원가추정 접근방법들을 통해 고정망과의 차이점을 살펴보고자 한다.

This study proposed a theoretical framework that could explain the service use of a community informatics. The proposed community informatics use model was developed based on three theoretical models: (1) Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) from social psychology: (2) Uses and gratifications approaches from media use research; and (3) Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) from information technology use research. The proposed model consists of three basic components: expectations of the outcomes from use, approvals from important others, and perceivied controllability over using the service. The initially proposed model was assessed using structural equation modeling, and then re-sepcified in order to propose a better fitting model. The initially proposed and revised community informatics use models were discussed with their theoretical and practical implications.

The primary goal of the study is to examine the possibility of applying the time series model to forecasting demand and supply of social services. In the study, we used survey data based on a nationally represented sample which is secondary processed data. We selected developmental rehabilitation service. The analysis, we made models of a demand and a supply using time series analysis. Utilizing the estimates, we identified each model's pattern. This study provides an empirical evidence to suggest benefits of using the time series model for forecasting the demand and the supply pattern of newly introduced social services. We also provide discussions on policy implications of utilizing demand and supply time series models in the process of developing new social services.

As smart devices have proliferated and mobile networks have accelerated, various wired IT(Information Technology) services are transplanted in wireless environments. Cloud computing service, enabling individual users or firm users to download data from a server and upload data after manipulating data, is also available in mobile devices. Unlike cloud service in wired network environments, mobile cloud service provides differentiated aspects in mobility, security issues caused by persistent connection to networks. In this paper we aim to analyze the factors affecting the user attitude and their structural relationships towards mobile cloud service use. We extend TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) to consider the characteristics of mobile environments. Research findings, analyzed by SEM(Structural Equation Model), are explained and practical implications are presented with concluding remarks.

This study proposes an expanded model of personalized search service based on community activities on a Korean Web portal. The model is composed of defining subject categories of users, providing personalized search results, and recommending additional subject categories and queries. Several experiments were performed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model. It was found that users' activities on community services provide valuable data for identifying their Interests, and the personalized search service increases users' satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to develope a model for an integrated national management system of information services in the science, technology and industry sectors by assigning major roles to KISTI which was set up by the merge of KINITI and KORDIC. In order to determine these roles, this study investigates the characteristics and significance of national information services in the science, technology and industry sectors, and analyzes the functions and problems of KISTI and the other information service institutes in Korea.

정보이용자연구는 정보추구자들이 중심이 되는 이용자 중심으로 패러다임 전환이 이루어졌고 연구과정에 보다 관심을 가지게 되었으며, 정보추구자의 특성과 요구를 알기 위한 많은 시도가 이루어지고 있으며, 개인적인 정보제공자와 더 많은 시간을 보내고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 시도와 노력을 통하여 개발되는 정보이용행태 모형은 이용자를 이해하고 기술하는 깊이가 심화되는 현상을 나타내고 있다. 정보이용자연구는 도서관업무 및 정보서비스의 모든 분야에 걸쳐 이해의 기초가 되는 영역으로, 연구결과 및 지금까지 도출된 많은 모형들이 상황에 맞게 정보 서비스, 정보시스템, 도서관 정책결정 및 경영 등의 영역에서 고려되고 적용되고 있다.

Mobile Services are that function of information system are served in mobile environment. So, Success model for the mobile services might be derived through mixing success model of information system with mobile attributes. There are many kinds of mobile services. Specially, commerce, communication entertainment and information services are representative types in mobile services. In this paper, we do not only derive important factors that influence success of mobile services, but also analyze how the factors influence the success of mobile services. We also analyze whether measures of the factors might differ significantly among the types of mobile services.
