According to the perspective of capital structure theory, we analyzed the dynamism of the capital structure determinants by using panel data of 244 KOSDAQ firms based on two-step GMM system methodology suggested by Blundell Bond(1998). This dynamic methodology had not been used to analyse capital structure determinants in Korea. In the dynamic model of capital structure, profit had negative effect on the book leverage and market leverage, which meant supporting pecking order theory. Growth opportunity (MBR) affected negatively to the market leverage. For the determinants of leverage, earnings volatility had significantly positive effect on KOSDAQ 50 firms. KOSDAQ and KOSDAQ 50 firms had the target leverage. The adjustment speed in KOSDAQ firms was 0.4958 on the book leverage, it was faster than in KOSDAQ 50 firm's 0.2863 on the book leverage and the adjustment speeds for the market leverage were 0.7651 for KOSDAQ firms and 0.5643 for KOSDAQ 50 firms. There was difference in adjustment cost between KOSDAQ firms and KOSDAQ 50 firms.

Since 2005, when "The Mobility Enhancement for the Mobility Impaired Act" was enacted, special transport systems(SPS) has been introduced by each responsible local entity. For its efficient operations and service enhancements, a clear understanding of travel patterns of SPS users is required. Yet we currently have a very limited understanding about them due to a lack of necessary data. This study represents an attempt to provide a better understanding of SPS user's travel patterns with the data generated by Gyeongsangnam-do SPS Call Center. The data include the number, time and day of calls, origins and destinations of callers, types of callers' impairement etc. The data thus allow one to analyze users' travel patterns, including area-wide O-D patterns. There were a number of interesting findings. For example, wheelchair users are only about 42% and the trips are made mostly on non-peak daytime periods. The results are expected to provide a helpful information not just for Center's SPS operations, but for other local entities that are interested in developing similar call centers as well. By refining the SPS system, periodic patterns of callers could be identified in the future.

With the changing of social needs and paradigms, citizens are concerned about aesthetic and cultural community gardens from productive urban farms in Korea. It is still difficult, however, to cultivate a beautiful garden with a community to design, install and manage it. Therefore, this study analyzed the community garden design guidelines of other countries to derive the characteristics and implications. The research method analyzed six guidelines for community garden design in the UK, Canada, the USA, Australia and Japan. As a result of the study, most community garden design guidelines are opened freely via on-line service. The guidelines are composed with chronological processes such as intro, site selection, design, construction and maintenance. The introduction section treats definition, purpose, meaning, efficiency and success factors for community gardens. Site selection emphasizes site conditions (soil, light, shadow, water, etc.), landholding and insurance. The design section, however, lacks adequate drawings and case images. These guidelines offer little explanation with few illustrations and sentences. Construction sections explain about plantings, facilities, expense and details. The maintenance guidelines of community gardens contain how to control members, funding, harvesting, pests and plants. In addition, some guidelines include vandalism, organic cultivation methods, recording and advertisement. Lastly, the appendix contains a variety of checklists, administrative documents, guidelines, drawings, and contacts. This study will help understand the trends and characteristics of overseas community gardens design guidelines so as to also supply directions for guidelines to be introduced in Korea.

A developer solves problems with isolating failures if faults are detected when inspecting missiles using the missile assembly test set (MATS) and then resumes the testing. In order to identify faults, it is necessary to analyze the data coming from the equipment, but the information received may not be sufficient, depending on the inspection environment. In this case, the developer repeats the test until the problem is reproduced or checks the performance of each piece of equipment that is related to the fault. When this task is added, schedule management becomes problematic, and development costs rise. To solve this problem, we need to design a MATS in a systematic way to increase fault coverage while satisfying the required reliability. By designing the necessary processes for each procedure, it is possible to reduce the fault identification time when a fault is detected during operations. But it is not possible to guarantee 100% fault coverage, so we provide another method by comparing costs and effects. This paper describes a development method to enhance the reliability of the missile assembly test set; it describes the expected effects when it is adapted, and describes the limitations of this method.

This study was conducted to verify the effects of an school library program using picture books and graphic organizers on first grade children's literacy abilities and book lending, and to evaluate the program with mothers' and mentors' responses. Twenty eight first graders of an elementary school in Kyunggi province participated in this program. Their reading and writing abilities were tested, and their book lending behaviors were compared before and after the whole program. The participants explored 20 picture books by reading aloud and expressed their responses on the graphic organizers over 11 weeks. The findings of this study after the whole session was complete were as follows. First, participants significantly improved in reading comprehension and writing assessed in terms of fluency, format, organization, expression, contents, and themes. Second, they lent books more frequently from the library than before. Third, participants' mothers showed great satisfaction for the program in that it enhanced child's reading ability, reading attitude, and mother's interest in children's books and library, and mentors also reported very positive impact of this program to themselves.

In this paper, we did not observe only the actual condition of accounting education, but also proposed the improvements for better education in commercial high schools in Jeju. We expect that those enable the high school students to be interested in accounting. These days, crisis of the accounting education is not only caused by poor educational system, but also is caused in large part by lack of efforts for improving the accounting education. In order to improve the quality of the accounting education and enable the students to be interested in accounting, it is necessary to understand why the students feel difficult about accounting. Learning the reasons enables teachers to educate by much more personalized curriculum, so that those will provide the opportunities to enable the students to pay more attention to accounting. we analyzed the realities in educating accounting by conducting a survey for the students. We also proposed the improvements based on the results of analyzing the realities of the accounting educations. The improvements are followings. First, the accounting education should be educated through various ways. Second, curriculum fitted to the high school students level should be developed. Third, subjects related with accounting should be improved by considering efficiency.

Korean lawn grass, which belongs to Zoysia genus in Gramineae family, is one of the major turfgrass which is widely adapted to its native niches in the temperate region of the north east Asia through tropical regions including Philippine, Thailand and Australia. The Turfgrass Information Center' database provides 5,340 descriptive records including 638 referred papers and 1,370 technical reports concerning 'Zoysia'. The database focused on researches on golf courses and lawn care industries. The researches provide informations on seed technology and use of plant protectant for pest management in turf management industries. The purpose of this study is to analyze and classify the research contents of zoysiagrasses which have been published in Korean journals. The total number of research papers published in Korean journals were 274 including 102, 38, and 134 in the 'Botanical', 'Environmental' and 'Cultural' researches, respectively. Publication in foreign journals by Korean investigators were not counted in this research. Research fields concerning golf course maintenance and plant protectant are believed to be necessary when compared to international trends. Moreover, advanced research efforts for the development of new cultivars with various environmental and disease resistance should be accomplished.

Understanding dialogue participant's emotion is important as well as decoding the explicit message in human communication. It is well known that non-verbal elements are more suitable for conveying speaker's emotions than verbal elements. Written texts, however, contain a variety of linguistic units that express emotions. This study aims at analyzing components for constructing an emotion ontology, that provides us with numerous applications in Human Language Technology. A majority of the previous work in text-based emotion processing focused on the classification of emotions, the construction of a dictionary describing emotion, and the retrieval of those lexica in texts through keyword spotting and/or syntactic parsing techniques. The retrieved or computed emotions based on that process did not show good results in terms of accuracy. Thus, more sophisticate components analysis is proposed and the linguistic factors are introduced in this study. (1) 5 linguistic types of emotion expressions are differentiated in terms of target (verbal/non-verbal) and the method (expressive/descriptive/iconic). The correlations among them as well as their correlation with the non-verbal expressive type are also determined. This characteristic is expected to guarantees more adaptability to our ontology in multi-modal environments. (2) As emotion-related components, this study proposes 24 emotion types, the 5-scale intensity (-2~+2), and the 3-scale polarity (positive/negative/neutral) which can describe a variety of emotions in more detail and in standardized way. (3) We introduce verbal expression-related components, such as 'experiencer', 'description target', 'description method' and 'linguistic features', which can classify and tag appropriately verbal expressions of emotions. (4) Adopting the linguistic tag sets proposed by ISO and TEI and providing the mapping table between our classification of emotions and Plutchik's, our ontology can be easily employed for multilingual processing.

Resource Description and Access(RDA) was published in 2008, reflecting IFLA IME ICC's International Cataloguing Principles(ICP), conceptual model for cataloging of Functional Requirement for Bibliographic Records(FRBR), and conceptual model for authority data of Functional Requirement for Authority Data(FRAD). Therefore, new tags and fields have been added to MARC21 format, and researches about the prototype have been studied to implement FRBR as envisioned by the new RDA standard. According to the innovative international cataloging environments, KCR and KORMARC must be revised to accommodate RDA description. This study was to grasp occurrence rate of work and expression element of FRBR and RDA among MARC field of Hansung University library and to analyze limitation of MARC data for RDA. Based on this limitations, cataloging rules and tags and fields of KORMARC were suggested to accommodate RDA in national cataloging environment. This study reviewed cataloging rules such like representation, main entry and rule of three, preferred title, types of content, media and carrier. This study is to suggest the consideration of KCR and KORMARC for RDA in Korea.

This study is designed to contribute for development of Private Security Business by fact-finding in instruction and training of private security guard serviced in this realm and domestic and foreign guard service and modeling effective and rational instruction and training program based on drawn problem. For this study, basically I collected and analyzed documents, theses, and papers of the inside and outside of the country. For practical use of data, I used materials of private security related institutes and police agency. And for private security educating training programs of the inside and outside of the country, I collected materials on internet, and with the help of police agency and interpol. For korean private security company's educating training programs, I made a study with the interview of private security company's businessmen. This study's conclusion is as follows. In a domestic private security enterprise, when set theory instruction minimize instruction and training program and must set up instruction and training program as practical affairs center enemy instruction, and theory instruction must be composed for instruction me that it is connected to practical affairs instruction too. The instruction course of private security guard instruction and training program composed with a security outline, a security plan, an information-gathering, civilian expenses, a security way, terror and terrorism, a related law, security trial, electronic security, a security analysis technique, company introduction, instruction and training program about a professional tube with theory instruction. Practical affairs instruction composed with the selection and a preventive security, close contact attendance security, vehicle security, security driving the security martial arts and self-protection liquor, first aid, security equipment, a gun and shooting, a security protocol, customer satisfaction, facilities security and expenses, a fire fighting instruction, teamwork training, explosive and a dangerous substance, physical strength, a documentation practical affairs, service, instruction and training program about foreigh language instruction.
