The aim of this study is to identify the research topics and suggest an information literacy curriculum by analyzing research articles on information literacy. For this purpose, we applied the topic modeling technique to 97 scientific articles and identified the core contents of information literacy education, such as media literacy, information literacy instruction, and the use of information resources. Based on the analysis results, we suggested an information literacy curriculum by considering the Big 6 model, information literacy standards of American Association of School Library, and Association of College and Research Libraries's information literacy competencies. This study is significant in that it considered 'use of information resources' and 'information ethics' to suggest information literacy education.

이 글은 필자가 1988년 5월초 조국을 방문하였을때 성균관대학교를 비롯하여 서울여자대학에서 개최된 문헌정보학회 모임, 부산여자대학, 경북대학교 및 국회도서관에서 실시한 세미나의 내용을 보충하여 간추린 것이다. 이 글의 내용은 필자가 1980년과 1981년에 걸쳐 인디아나주의 여러 공공도서관을 이용하는 사람들 8,000명을 대상으로 설문조사하여 분석 연구한 결과를 근거로 하였다.

This Study has developed the contents(scope and sequence) of reading education in school library. For this purpose, this study compares and analyze the contents of reading education curriculum in Korea, American and Japan. Basing on the comparative and analyzed results, It has established a scope for reading education, 10 area and 45 elements. It survey reliability against established a scope and sequence(suitable school year) with 52 teacher librarian in Korea. It proposed the contents(scope and sequence) of reading education in school library with final.

Information-giving is very important skill in career education and career counseling. The purpose of this study was to analyse the definition and method of information-giving as a important counseling skills in the counseling textbooks. Research questions were as follows: First, what is the definition of information-giving? Second, what are the ways to give the information in counseling? 17 textbooks of counseling were reviewed. The following are the main findings. First, the definition of information-giving was summarized in two ways: (1) the meaning of information (2) the description of information-giving. The results revealed the reason why the definition of information-giving is vague and it is difficult to distinguish from other skills (ex: giving advice, providing interpretation). Second, the main methods of information-giving can be summarized as follows: (1) motivation and timing of information-giving (2) selection criteria of information-giving (3) procedure of information-giving (4) considerations of information-giving. Out of these methods, the textbooks do not provide much reference on 'selection criteria of information-giving and procedure of information-giving. These findings revealed the necessity of empirical study on the information-giving skills.

본 연구에서는 국내의 대학원 과정에서 정보보호 교육과 관련하여 개설된 교과 과정 및 구체적인 교육 내용을 분석한다. 현재 대학원내에 정보보호 전공이 신설된 역사가 짧고, 운영상의 여러가지 제한점으로 인해 일부 대학원을 제외하고는 특성화되지 못하고 나열적인 교과과정 특성을 보이고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 정보보호 대학원에서의 교과 과정 모델을 제시한다.

월드 와이드 웹을 기반으로 한 검색 시스템에 대한 최근의 연구들은 링크정보가 내용정보와 함께 검색 시스템의 성능 향상에 커다란 도움을 주고 있다는 것을 증명하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 링크정보를 이용한 과거의 연구들을 살펴보고, 링크정보와 내용정보를 결합한 알고리즘들을 분석한다. 그리고 결함 알고리즘들을 크게 두 가지로 분류하고, 일반화된 모델을 제시한다.

최근 인터넷상의 상품 쇼핑몰사이트나 전자상거래와 같은 웹 사이트의 발전으로 인해 이미지의 정보를 많이 사용하고 있다. 이미지의 활용도가 높아짐에 따라, 이미지에 대한 분석기술이나 인식기술들이 많이 연구되어지고 있다. 이미지의 활용은 단순히 정보를 표현하는 것을 넘어, 현재는 인체의 생체 이미지, 지리정보 이미지, 상품 카탈로그 이미지와 같은 대량의 이미지 정보를 가지고 웹 상에서 응용하여 활용되어지고 있다. 따라서, 다양한 이미지의 정보를 표현하고 저장, 검색하는 기술은 계속적으로 연구되어지고 있다. 그러나, 다양한 이미지의 형태로부터 데이터를 표현하고 검색한다는 것은 상당히 어려운 일이다. 본 논문에서는 On.-Schema를 활용하여 다양한 이미지의 내용정보를 표현하기 위한 스키마 구조와 표준화 방안에 대하여 기술한다. 웹 상품 카탈로그 이미지나 광고 이미지와 같은 인터넷 상에서 많이 사용될 수 있는 이미지의 정보를 XML-Schema로 설계하고 XML을 활용하여 내용기반 이미지 검색을 지원할 수 있는 모델을 제시한다. 또한 이미지에 대한 복합적인 객체를 분리하여 저장할 수 있는 스키마를 제공함으로서, 이미지 데이터의 공유성과 유용성이 높아지고, 검색에 대한 효율성이 증대되도록 한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop an approach to teaching qualitative research methods (TQRM) for Library and Information Science. To draw trend of TQRM, 76 course syllabi collected in the research oriented universities' master and doctoral programs, were analyzed using content analysis. The study proposes both common topics and essential strategies for TQRM in terms of the paradigm of qualitative research, research design, wide range of approaches to QR, diversity of collecting and analyzing data, writing, and evaluation criteria. It is very important to identify qualitative stance and to understand paradigms and philosophical and theoretical frameworks of QR for conducting QR reiteratively, creatively, reflectively.

현대사회에 있어 대중매체가 사람들에게 미치는 영향력은 지대한 바, 여성잡지에 게재된 식품광고 역시 소비자들에게 미치는 구매력과 홍보효과는 대단히 크다고 하겠다. 또한 식품광고는 그 시대 소비자들의 식품에 관한 관심의 방향과 식품선호도를 나타내주는 동시에 유행을 창조하는 기능도 가진다고 한다. 그러므로 정확한 광고내용은 소비자들을 위한 좋은 영양교육 자료가 될 수 있지만, 반대로 내용이 부정확하거나 과장된 경우, 소비자들은 그릇된 정보로 인하여 피해를 볼 수가 있다. (중략)

인터넷 환경의 발달에 의해 네트워크상의 콘텐츠의 전송이 활발해 지고 있다. 그 대표적인 예가 대중적으로 일반화되어 있는 전자메일일 것이다. 하지만 전자메일이 보다 일반화되고 보안상의 위협을 제거하기 위해선 전송되는 메일에 대한 내용증명과 배달증명이 가능해야 한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 먼저 내용증명과 배달증명이 가능한 기존의 방법들을 분석하고, 양사용자 사이에 문서를 교활할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안한다.
