This study aims to investigate the current state of digital reference services using electronic bulletin boards in Korean academic libraries and to suggest improvements. Through the examination of 205 academic library websites, 56 libraries were identified to use electronic bulletin for digital references. The digital reference service questions and responses from four libraries were further analyzed: the types of reference question, the structure and accuracy of answers, and digital reference completion time. The implications of this study for future research and practice lie in its provision of a systematic way to design practical guidelines for virtual reference services.

The main purposes of this study are to analyze the contents and text network of online tourism information. For this purpose, Jeju Island, one of the representative tourist destinations in South Korea is selected as a study site. And this study collects the contents of both JeJu official tourism website and Sina Weibo's personal blogs which is one of the most popular Social Network Systems in China. In addition, this study analyzes this online text information using ROST Content Mining System, one of the Chinese big data mining systems. The results of the content analysis show that the formal website of Jeju includes the nouns related to natural, geographical and physical resources, verbs related to existence of resources, and adjectives related to the beauty, cleanness and convenience of resources mainly. Meanwhile, personal blogs include the nouns of Korean-wave, food, local products, other destinations and shopping, verbs related to activity and feeling in Jeju, and adjectives related to their experiences and feeling mainly. Finally, the results of text network show that there are some strong centrality and network of online tourism information at formal website, but there are weak relationships in personal blogs. The results of this study may be able to contribute to the development of demand-based marketing strategies of tourists destination.

개정된 7차 교육과정의 정보 교과에서는 창의적이며 논리적 사고력을 바탕으로 한 문제해결 능력 함양에 중점을 두어 중등학교에 공통적으로 '문제해결방법과 절차'라는 대영역이 포함되었다. 이 단원의 내용 요소 중에 알고리즘에 대한 내용이 포함되어 있다. 알고리즘에 관련된 내용요소를 교육할 때 기존 연구가 부족하여 교사와 학생들이 활용할 자료와 소프트웨어가 충분하지 못한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 개정된 중등학교 정보 교과의 알고리즘에 대한 내용을 분석하고, 이 알고리즘 교육에서 공개소프트웨어를 활용하는 방안을 제시한다.

This study is to propose the characteristics that a desirable quality, especially usability, evaluation method of hospital information systems(HIS) should possess. This study reviews the literature recently published in the academic journals which are in the Science Citation Index or registered by the Korean Research Foundation. Especially, the International Journal of Medical Informatics was the valuable source, providing almost 20 literature. The results reveal the need to develop a domain-specific usability evaluation method that reflects the uniqueness of hospital industry. The results show user-centeredness and context-orientedness are the indispensible characteristics of a HIS quality evaluation method too.

The aim of this study was to develop a policy information mentoring management model through which professional information, knowledge, and ideas can be shared and consulted. To this end, we analyzed domestic and international related literature, case studies of domestic and international mentoring programs, and expert advice from the policy consumers and current policy mentors in the field of policy information. In this research, components of a policy information mentoring management model have been proposed by separating them into human and content components. Mentor-mentee coordination, and supervisors are proposed as human components. Policy mentoring subject areas, programs, and detailed activities are proposed as content components.

The study aims to discuss various issues on administrative information dissemination of local governments based on analysis of local legislations related to freedom of information. As a theoretical study, it reviews a history and significance of the administrative information dissemination. Furthermore, this study analyzes articles related to administrative information dissemination which are defined by local legislations. As a result, firstly, it confirms that there are a number of cases which those articles are inadequate. Secondly, this study classifies articles related to administrative information dissemination into five types, including the A type which separately contains two different administrative information dissemination contents to the D type which only describes management aspects of administrative information dissemination, and the E type which does not define any articles related to administrative information dissemination.

The purpose of this study was to examine how the contents and pedagogical styles of Food and Nutrition in the middle school home economics textbooks could promote constructivist learning. For this, Food and Nutrition contents of 12 current textbooks were analyzed, based upon the learning factors derived from both a practical problem-focused curriculum from the constructivist perspective, and the current home economics curriculum from the objectivist perspective. Pedagogical styles of the texts and exercises were classified into four types- neutral informative, injunctive, persuasive, and participative, out of which 'persuasive' and 'participative', in particular reflect the constructivist perspective. The major findings were as follows: First, the analysis results of Food and Nutrition contents showed that of 14 learning factors, 13 of the textbooks corresponded well to the current curriculum(92.9%). On the other hand, Out of the 26 learning factors, 18 of the textbooks corresponded to the practical problem-focused curriculum(72.4%). Classified into each stage of the practical problem solving processes, only learning factors related with 'the concepts of the valued ends' were fully covered. However, the other learning factors related with the concepts of 'the practical problem', 'the context', 'the action' and 'the consequence', that is the factors particularly related with 'the concepts of the context', were not properly addressed. Besides, learning factors were not addressed from diverse viewpoints, especially from the social perspective. Second, the analysis of pedagogical style related to Food and Nutrition illustrated that the neutral informative(59.9%) in texts, and the participative in exercises(60.4%), were most common. However, persuasive and participative were insufficient in texts(22.1%). Furthermore even though the exercises, are more likely to be described from the constructivist perspective, nearly none of the exercises was considered from the social perspective. In conclusion, this study showed that Food and Nutrition in Korean home economics textbooks need to reflect constructivist learning better.
