A Thermal Blood Flow Sensor with Contact Force Compensation (접촉력 보정이 가능한 열적 방식의 혈류량 측정기)

  • This paper proposes a thermal peripheral blood flowmeter integrated with a force sensor that is capable of contact force compensation. We fabricate this blood flowmeter using a nickel RTD (resistance temperature detector) and piezoresistive force sensor by using microfabrication technology. In an experiment, we obtained a decreasing trend for the blood flow under an increasing contact force with a linear tendency of 31.7%/N. We then performed a compensation process based on this obtained trend. As a result, the maximum variance in the blood flow at 1-3N was 9.8%. Thus we achieved consistent blood flow measurement independent of the contact force. In this work, we verified that the thermal blood flowmeter integrated with a force sensor has the ability to accurately measure the blood flow independent of the contact force.

Prediction Models for the Prying Action Force and Contact Force of a T-stub Fastened by High-Strength Bolts (고력볼트로 체결된 T-stub의 지레작용력 및 부재 접촉력 예측모델)

  • A T-stub connection with high-strength bolts under tensile force is affected by prying action force and the contact force, among others, between members. If a design equation that does not consider such prying action force and contact force between members is not proposed, the T-stub under tensile force is liable to be fractured under the strength lower than the estimated design strength. To prevent it, many studies have proposed contact force estimation equations between members as well as the prying action force of the T-stub connection with high-strength bolts. However, no design equations based on such research have been proposed in South Korea. Therefore, this study aims to propose an estimation model for more accurate prying action force and contact force, and improve on previously proposed estimation models by implementing the three-dimensional, nonlinear finite element analysis. Throughout the results of three-dimensional, nonlinear finite element analysis, the prediction model proposed in this research for the prying action force and contact force of a T-stub provided much more accurate estimation than that of a existing prediction model previously suggested.

  • The contact force between the pantograph and the catenary is a key factor determining the current collection quality, as they can ensure stable electrical power to the train. In this study, we analyzed the dynamic contact force for HEMU-430X depending on the train speed. It was confirmed through the results that the standard deviation of the contact force increases with an increase in the train speed. It was also verified that the span of the catenary system is a very important factor with regard to the contact force when analyzed with frequency analysis. To secure stable power in speed that exceeds 400km/h, the statistical variation of the contact force should be minimized. To realize this, the catenary tension was increased and the mass of the pan-head was decreased. The ensuing effects were then quantitatively analyzed in terms of the contact force. In addition, the differences in the contact force between a tunnel and an open field were analyzed based on a frequency analysis.

A Study on the Contact Force of Rubber Seals for Ball Bearings (볼 베어링용 고무시일의 접촉력 해석에 관한 연구)

  • The equations are derived for the evaluation of the axial contact force. The contact forces for rubber seals are analyzed as a function of the ratio of real contact length, the thickness of seal lip, the inclined angle of seal lip, and the interference between the edge of seal lip and the rotating inner ring. The design data for rubber seals are presented in terms of the ratio of real contact length, initial inclined lip angle, lip thickness and the interference. The calculated results show that the deflected interference and the circumferential stress cause considerable change of contcat forces for the low sealed pressure.

  • 립실의 중요 설계 변수인 접촉력의 측정에는 스플릿트축장치가 흔히 사용된다. 축과 립실의 간섭량은 두 개 스플릿트축의 간격으로서 조절된다. 두 축을 초기 위치로부터 측정하고자 하는 임의 위치로 이동시킬 때 정확한 원을 이루지 못해 측정되는 접촉력은 오차를 포함되게 된다. 본 연구에서는 작은 간섭량 범위 내에서 접촉력을 이론적으로 예측할 수 있는 수식을 유도하고 측정 오차 값을 예측하였다. 측정된 립실의 접촉력은 측정 간섭량이 초기간섭량과 일치하는 경우 외에는 항상 오차를 포함하고 있음을 밝혔다. 이 오차는 작은 간섭량 범위 내에서 립실의 재료 특성이나 형상에 무관하며, 10% 이내의 측정 오차 유지를 위해서는 측정 간섭량이 초기 간섭량의 68%에서 187% 범위 내에 들어야 함을 확인하였다.

  • 유압 실린더용 유패킹의 접촉력, 접촉폭, 돌출발생 임계압력을 밀봉간극에 대하여 유한요소법을 이용하여 수치적으로 해석하였다. 초기 간섭량이 증가함에 따라 접촉력 및 접촉폭은 급격하게 증가하였다. 그러나 유압이 작용하는 상태에서 밀봉간극이 감소하면 시일의 돌출현상이 발생하는 임계압력은 보다 가파르게 증가함을 확인하였다. 초기 간섭량에 의한 접촉력으로 부터 유압 실린더의 누설에 관련된 사용 최저 유압을 연계하여 갑섭량이 설계되어야하고, 돌출발생 임계압력으로 부터는 사용 최고유압과 관련하여 간극이 설계되어야 하므로 이에 대한 수치해석적 설계자료를 제시하였다. 특히 시일립부의 접촉면을 나타내는 축방향에 따라서 접촉력 분포는 시일립 선단부와 돌출현상에 따른 상호 복잡한 결과의 중요성을 제시하였다. 이 결과는 윤활해석을 위한 탄성유체윤활 해석시 입력자료로 사용될 수 있어 실제 유막두께 해석 및 유동해석을 통하여 누설량 예측 등에 이용될 수 있는 설게자료이다.

  • 저자는 정상 치열을 가지며 두개하악장애의 증상 및 병력이 없는 성인 21명을 대상으로 computerized occlusal analysis system인 T-Scan system을 이용하여 교합력에 따른 치아접촉수와 총치아접촉시간을 측정한 후 정량적인 분석을 시도하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 최대 측두근 전부 근활성도의 약 20%, 50%, 80% 수준의 교합력에서 치아접촉수의 평균은 각각 1.6개, 8.8개, 16.7개로 교합력이 증가할수록 유의하게 증가하였다. 2. 최대 측두근 전부 근활성도의 약 20%, 50%, 80% 수준의 교합력에서 치아당 치아접촉수이 평균은 대구치에서는 0.2, 1.4, 2.2 개였으며 소구치에서는 0.1, 0.5, 1.1개였고, 전치에서는 0.1, 0.2, 0.6개로 교합력이 증가함에 따라 유의하게 증가하였다. 3. 치아접촉분포로 구분된 대칭군과 비대칭군간의 총치아접촉시간에는 유의한 차이가 없었다.

Study for Prediction of Contact Forces between Wheel and Rail Using Vibrational Transfer Function of the Scaled Squeal Noise Test Rig (축소 스킬소음 시험장치의 진동전달특성을 이용한 차륜/레일의 접촉력 예측에 관한 연구)

  • Curved squeal noise may result when railway vehicles run on curved tracks. Contact between the wheels and the rails causes a stick-slip phenomenon, which generates squeal noise. In order to identify the mechanism of the squeal noise systematically, a scaled test rig has been fabricated. Knowledge of the contact forces between the wheels and the rail rollers is essential for investigating the squeal noise characteristics; however, it is difficult to measure there contact force. In this study, contact forces have been calculated indirectly according to the modal behavior of the subframe that supports the rail roller and the responses at specific positions of that subframe. In order to verify the estimated contact forces, the displacements at the contact points between the wheels and rail rollers have been calculated from the estimated forces; the resulting values have been compared with the measured displacement values. The SPL at the specific location has been calculated using the estimated contact forces and this also has been compared with the SPL, measured in a semi-anechoic chamber. The comparisons in displacements and SPLs show good correlation.
