We analyze the economic effects of mobile termination rate asymmetry by simulation model. The asymmetry allows the mobile operator to get access profits at the expense of the incumbent and induces negative effects such as the entry of inefficient operator and allocative efficiency as well as productive efficiency. We use simulation model to investigate the effect on social welfare of asymmetric regulation. If the brand loyalty is high, social welfare increase as the termination charge of entrant increases. The extension of the basic model shows that the degree of social welfare increase becomes higher as the brand loyalty increases when the cost of entrant is smaller than that of incumbent. But, the degree of social welfare decrease becomes lower as the substitution effects increase.

To determine factors affecting social network service e-service quality, this research is to investigate factors of social network service e-service quality, and analyze how these factors influencing on social network service e-service satisfactions. As a results, three dimensions were identified namely, fulfillment, ease of use and playfulness. But two dimensions were rejected namely connectivity, security. It indicates that the qualitative aspect is becoming more important than quantitative in social network service management.

Mobile contents market is growing with the rapid adoption of smart-phones. Online access via mobile compared to PC-based online access, has distinctive service delivery characteristics which are ubiquitous connectivity and contextual offer. In addition, this study includes characteristics which are relatively disadvantageous for mobile services compared to PC-based services. These are response time and supporting non-verbal informations. This study investigates the influence of service delivery characteristics to perceived interactivity and mobile service attitude. The results show that mobile services' ubiquitous connectivity and contextual offer showed a positive relationship with the perceived interactivity of the mobile service. And the response time also showed a positive relationship with the perceived interactivity, but non-verbal information didn't. When the trade-off is met between response time and nonverbal information, mobile service developer should choose response time since it has positive effect on perceived interactivity and attitude.

유선 통신과 다르게 무선 통신은 자원의 한정성이란 매체의 특성을 가지고 있어 다중의 사용자가 다른 QoS를 요구하는 멀티미디어 서비스를 지원하기 위해서는 각각의 서비스에 따른 트래픽에 차별화를 두어 매체 접속을 제어하는 것이 효과적인 방법이 될 것이다. 현재, 음성과 데이터를 통합하여 매체 접속 제어를 하는 패킷 예약 다중 접속 방식은 많은 연구가 이루어진 상태이고, 특히, 멀티미디어 지원을 위해 적응형 패킷 예약 다중 접속(APRMA: Adaptive Packet Peservation Multiple Access)방식의 연구가 진행되었다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 지원을 위한 다른 한가지 방법으로 패킷이 경쟁에 참여할 수 있는 파라미터를 서비스의 종류와 활성중인 슬롯의 수에 따라 조정하여 채널의 효율을 보다 향상시키고 패킷 충돌이 일어날 확률도 감소 시킬 수 있는 우선 순위 기반 적응형 패킷 예약 매체 접속 방법 (APRMA_P : APRMA with Prioroty)을 제시한다. 제안된 APRMA_P의 성능을 분석하기 위해 시뮬레이션을 통해서 체널 효율을 기존의 APRMA와 비교 분석한다.

이동중인 최종이용자에게 전화와 저속데이터통신을 접속시켜주는 2세대무선통신은 세계전기통신산업체에서 단골로 등장하는 성공담이 되었다. 제2세대이동전화의 성장으로 이동통신이 완전한 대중시장보급을 지향하여 순조롭게 나아가고 있음을 알 수 있다. 인터넷의 엄청난 성장에 힘입어 멀티미디어 역시 폭발적인 속도로 대중시장에 보급되고 있다. 디지털셀룰러의 영역과 인터넷멀티미디어서비스가 결합함으로서 미래의 종합무선통신 및 멀티미디어접속시스템이 완성되는 것이다. 제3세대통신으로의 이전(移轉)은 종합멀티미디어, 패킷교환 및 광대역무선을 현재의 주도적인 2세대시스템에 접속하는 유연한 이전방법에 기초들 두어야 한다. 당초에 지역적으로 이들 시스템 이외의 표준을 정하였지만, 결국 표준화기관 및 전기통신산업계의 회원들이 제3세대무선접속표준에 대한 공조된 범세계 시나리오에 합의하였다. 저자는 새로이 공조된 범세계 시나리오를 설명하고, 3세대무선접속표준개발에 관한 멀티미디어와 그 유연성, 스펙트럼할당 그리고 2세대시스템으로부터 성공적인 이전 요건에 대처하는 방안을 설명한다.

NGN은 기존의 회선교환망이 가지는 높은 신뢰성과 IP 망의 유연성을 양립시킨다는 기본 이념을 바탕으로 IP 기술을 활용한 통신망이다. 상호접속은 서로 다른 통신망의 가입자간 통신을 가능하도록 통신설비를 물리적으로 연결하여 사업자간 경쟁환경을 조성하고 사회 후생을 극대화를 위한 중요한 정책수단이다. NGN에서는 사용대역차이와 QoS의 유무 및 수준 등 성격이나 품질이 다양한 서비스가 종합적으로 제공되는 네트워크로 기존 상호접속체계에 비해 복잡할 수 밖에 없다. 일본에서는 NGN 기반 서비스가 상용화 됨에 따라 구체적으로 상호접속체계를 정립하였다. 본 논문에서 NGN 상호접속체계를 정립하기 위한 NGN 서비스 및 설비 기능 세분화, 설비 비용 산정방법, 서비스 비용 산정기준에 관하여 살펴보고 상호접속체계 검토시 고려사항을 제시하고자 한다.

최근 XLPE 케이블의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 지속적인 연구 및 기술개발이 성과를 나타내면서, 지난 한세기동안 세계적으로 실선로에 적용되어 그 신뢰성을 인정받던 OF 케이블이 XLPE 케이블의 상대적으로 낮은 송전 손실, 높은 방염 특성 및 유지보수와 설치의 편이성에 밀려 그 수요가 급격히 감소하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 추세에 따라 기존의 OF 케이블 선로의 증설 또는 이설 공사의 경우, 기설 OF 케이블 선로에 XLPE 케이블을 연결하여 사용하는 경향이 많아지며, 이 이종의 케이블을 상호간 연결하는 중간접속함의 필요성이 대두되었다. 이 이종케이블 접속함은 각 케이블의 제반 특성을 최대한 유지하는 동시에 장기적인 신뢰성 확보가 최대 과제이며, 기설의 전력구에 사용하기 위한 경량화 또한 요구된다.

Eurostar 3000 AOCS is optimized for telecommunication mission with no strong requirement on attitude stability and has therefore to be upgraded to comply with COMS high stability requirements for the optical observations. This COMS configuration constraint induces specificities for the wheel. The aim of this analysis is to verify the electrical compatibility of the interfaces which exist between COMS wheels and external equipments. For each interface, this study checked the compatibility between equipments for the power links, commands, digital telemetry, analog telemetry, and failure condition or AIT errors. In addition with this interface compatibility verification, this study outputs electrical and manufacturing recommendations to be applied at harness level.

Even if the HF band SSB maritime data communications service company has operating a target Of the member ship, because of unprepared. the radio link protocol that has been question accordance with increase of calling redundancy at traffic overload. Although free signal has operating for traffic of the next ship, but cannot avoid the collision in mutual calling ships. In feature of HF band SSB channel that radio link must be established by automatical, stability and adaptive at over load. In this factor, this paper is studied the new radio protocol by 3 step sequency driving of free access, group free access and polling access.

This paper discusses current internet interconnection issues according to radical changes of internet traffic pattern. In this context, the recovery of network investment cost for network provider becomes hot issue. For recovery issues of investment cost, there are many disputes among stake holders. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate this issues in the context of internet interconnection. Also, it is important to develop the current regulation about internet interconnection under traffic changing environments. This paper selects four issues to deal with and analyzes the present situations and problems about these issues, and provides alternatives for internet interconnection corresponding to these four issues.
