Direct Finite Element Model Generation using 3 Dimensional Scan Data (3D SCAN DATA 를 이용한 직접유한요소모델 생성)

  • It is still very difficult to generate a geometry model and finite element model, which has complex and many free surface, even though 3D CAD solutions are applied. Furthermore, in the medical field, which is a big growth area of recent years, there is no drawing. For these reasons, making a geometry model, which is used in finite element analysis, is very difficult. To resolve these problems and satisfy the requests of the need to create a 3D digital file for an object where none had existed before, new technologies are appeared recently. Among the recent technologies, there is a growing interest in the availability of fast, affordable optical range laser scanning. The development of 3D laser scan technology to obtain 3D point cloud data, made it possible to generate 3D model of complex object. To generate CAD and finite element model using point cloud data from 3D scanning, surface reconstruction applications have widely used. In the early stage, these applications have many difficulties, such as data handling, model creation time and so on. Recently developed point-based surface generation applications partly resolve these difficulties. However there are still many problems. In case of large and complex object scanning, generation of CAD and finite element model has a significant amount of working time and effort. Hence, we concerned developing a good direct finite element model generation method using point cloud's location coordinate value to save working time and obtain accurate finite element model.

Morpho-Physiological Studies on Elongation of Mesocotyl and Seminal Root in Rice Plant I. Varietal Differences and Effects of Seed Maturity and Storage Condition on Mesocotyl Elongation (수도 중배축 및 종근 생장의 형태.생리학적 연구 I. 중배축 신장의 품종간 차이와 종자숙도 및 저장조건의 영향)

  • The mesocotyl elongation, having much effect on emergence and stand establishment in the direct sowing culture of rice, was investingated and summarized as follows: As to origin of cultivars, the average lengths of mesocotyl were 9.6 mm in the Indica-Japonica hybrid cultivars, 4.4 mm in the native cultivars and 3.2mm in the Japonica type, respectively. The mesocotyl lengths were tjereh, aman, aus, boro and bulu in order, with the mesocotyl lengths of 29.3mm and 5.4 mm in tjereh and bulu, respectively. The mesocotyl lengths were great in Baekkyungjo, Dadajo & Hejo among the native cultivars, in Sangpungbyeo, Paltal & Gokyangdo of the Japonica type and in Weonpungbyeo, Gayabyeo, Milyang 30 & Sujeongbyeo in Indica- Japonica hybrid cultivars, respectively. The mesocotyl length was the greatest at the seeds sampled I week after flowering (39. 3mm in length), and became decreased with the longer grain-filling. The mesocotyl elongated worse with the longer duration of seed storage regardless of seed maturity, and became longer at the 5$^{\circ}C$ storage plot than at the 15 and 25$^{\circ}C$ plots.

  • A binary system of 1-propanol and bromochloromethane which exhibits an azeotropic point and a considerable nonideal phase behavior probably due to the large boiling point difference is not amenable in the actual chemical processes such as the distillation tower and absorber. Therefore, experimental data of phase behavior data of this mixture are indispensable in understanding the inherent thermodynamic characteristics for an efficient application of the system in the industrial processes. In this work, the isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium of a binary mixture consisting of 1-propanol and bromochloromethane was measured by using a recirculating equilibrium cell at various pressures ranging from 30 to 70 kPa. The measured VLE data were correlated in a satisfactory manner by using the UNIQUAC and NRTL models along with the thermodynamic consistency test based on Gibbs/Duhem equation. In addition, the excess molar volume of the mixture was also measured by using a vibrating densitometer and correlated with a Redlich-Kister polynomial.

An Empirical Analysis on the Effects of FDI to the Economic Growth - Based on the Service Industry in China (FDI유입의 경제성장효과 실증분석 -중국 서비스산업을 중심으로-)

  • This study is to analyze the effects of the FDI inflows service industry on China's economic growth using panel data from China's service industry for the period 1990-2012. The results of this study show that the FDI inflows into service industry in China is behind a key driving force to develop its economic growth, and that other factors like investment in the fixed assets and investment in human capital and labor make contribution to promoting its economic development. The results suggest that in order to enhance its growth, the government should expend a great deal of effort trying to make a good environment for investment to increase the FDI inflows into China's service industry.

Prediction of Shelf-life and Quality Changes of Dried Noodle During Storage Period (저장기간에 따른 건면의 품질변화 및 유통기간의 예측)

  • Dried noodles (somyon) were stored for 7 months at 25, 35 and 45$^{\circ}C$, and changes of water activity, amylograms and color of dried noodle at 4 week intervals were comparatively analyzed. The water activities during storage period were 0.43∼0.56 at all storage temperature. The breakdown of dried noodle by RVA(rapid visco analyser) increased as storage period increased. Color difference ($\Delta$E) was chosen for quality index due to the highest correlation coefficient between sensory score and color difference. The shelf-life of dried noodle was estimated from change of color, which was linearly increased as the storage period increased. The activation energy and Q$\sub$10/ value for color difference were 75.21 kJ/mol and 2.76 at 25$^{\circ}C$, respectively. Shelf-life of dried noodle at 25 were 27.9 months, respectively.

  • This study is based on the results from the previous one. It proved that reputation, price and ease of use, entertainment are the major attributes of social commerce. Research model and hypotheses by using the trust and flow as mediator, loyalty is the dependent variable and the items as moderator. The results were as follows: First, reputation and price have positive effects on trust. Second, all attributes of social commerce have positive effect on flow, except for the ease of use. Third, the trust has positive effect on flow. Fourth, the trust and flow has positive effect on loyalty. The last, the attributes of social commerce have significant difference in trust and flow according to different products. The results of this study presented the strategic implications for operators at social commerce area.

  • The retaining methods of implant prosthesis were classified into a screw-retained and a cement-retained type. A screw-retained prosthesis has many advantages, such as retrievability, preventing residual cement, while their disadvantages include the possibility of screw loosening and fracture, on the contrary advantages of cement-retained prosthesis are relatively low cost, but they are difficult to retrieve. To combine the advantages of both type, screw-cement retained prosthesis (SCRP) type have been introduced. But they still require ideal implant placement. So we introduce fiber post retained prosthesis without residual cement for preventing soft tissue trouble due to excessive cement.

  • The existing input device is limited to keyboard and mouse. However, recently new type of input device has been developed in response to requests from users. To reflect this trend we propose the new type of input device that gives instruction as analyzing the hand motion of image without special device. After binarizing the skin color area using Cam-Shift method and tracking, it recognizes the hand motion by inputting the finger areas and the angles from the palm center point, which are separated through labeling, into four cardinal directions and counting them. In cases when specific background was not set and without gloves, the recognition rate remained approximately at 75 percent. However, when specific background was set and the person wore red gloves, the recognition rate increased to 90.2 percent due to reduction in noise.

  • This study focuses on the on-line civic social movement which is based on the individual dimension. This kind of on-line social movement is organized voluntarily by the citizens who have the common concerns about issues and problems raised in the net. In the context, this paper analyzes what is the characteristics of discourse formed in the process of public discussion concerned about the anti-Nix movement. And, this study also analyzed who was processed the anti-Nix movement through which steps and what kinds of way in the case of anti-nix movement. Based on the research results, the anti-Nix movement is led by the organizer of the movement and the active participants of it. This study also found out that the various movement strategies of the site organizer were the major reasons of the success of anti-Nix movement. This study also found out that the discussion board of anti-Nix movement is close to the function and role of traditional public sphere rather than those of the swearwords and libels.

A Study on Structural Relationships between Information Service Quality and Performance (정보서비스 품질과 성과의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구: 아웃바운드 고객센터의 캠페인관리시스템을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of information service quality on user satisfaction and individual performance in Outbound Callcenter. A survey was conducted and data were collected from 330 respondents of 1 company which adopted CMS. Validity and reliability of the research instrument were tested and research hypotheses were examined using PLS Graph 3.0. As a result of data analysis, 6 out of 8 hypotheses were supported. User satisfaction is significantly influenced by information quality factors such as accuracy, currency, and relevancy. 2) Also, User satisfaction is significantly affected by internal service quality factors such as training support and reward system. 3) Individual performance is significantly influenced by user satisfaction. Implications of these findings are discussed for researchers and practitioners.
