  • The enzymes lytic to red yeast cell wall, which were produced by Penicillium lilacinum ATCC 36010 and Bacillus pumilus No 41, hydrolyzed an extracellular mannan from Rhodotonla glutinis IFO 0695. mannan was arranged with $\beta$-1,3 and $\beta$-1,4 linkages alternatively. Using this mannan, substrate specificities of these enzymes were investigated. The one from Penicillium lilacinum was an unique mannanase which hydrolyzed $\beta$-1,3 mannoside bond and the other from B. pumilus was a new type of mannanase which cleaved $\beta$-1,4 mannoside bond with requirement of the existence of $\beta$-1,3 linkage on the reducing side. Both enzymes released two kinds of oligosaccharide from mannan, respectively. However, the enzyme from Pen lilacinum produced tetrasaccharide and disaccharide and one of them, tetrasaccharide, was hydrolyzed to disaccharide further. The one from B. pumilus released tetrasaccharide and hexasaccharide from mannan finally.

  • Recently, many business organizations have been increasingly expanding the utilization of the intelligent chatbot services for effective customer relation management. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the factors which affect the use of the intelligent chatbot services. Above all, the research model and the hypotheses were derived through reviewing the major relevant theories such as UX(user experience) theory(Honeycomb model), TRA(theory of reasoned action), TAM(technology acceptance model) and ETAM(extended TAM). And then, structural equation analyses using SmartPLS 3.0 for 233 valid questionnaires replies collected through the field survey was performed to test the hypotheses. Theoretically, this study can contribute to providing the conceptual framework with regard to enhancing the use of intelligent chatbot services. And practically, this study sheds new light on suggesting the guidelines to designing the UX(user experience) of the intelligent chatbot services.

  • This research was examined to evaluate whether the websites of 6 policy research institutes provide web resources which were collected and provided as information resources, and that they were sure that the web resources had value as policy information by content analysis method. Web resources provided as policy information in policy research institutes were classified into and evaluated by 4 categories. Evaluation had been conducted on 10 items in the 4 categories of content, design, accessibility and meta data. From the result, the information content have been found to be reliable and up-to-date although more thorough description is required. Navigation and the search function in the design category were found to be excellent, but dead links were present in all of the institutions. The accessibility was proven to be great as it was able to access information with only three clicks. However, it has been found that a comprehensive review of the meta data is required in order to improve the accuracy of search functions. In conclusion, improvements to the dead link problems, quality control of the meta data, systematic and professional management plan of policy research information, and the establishment of a comprehensive policy research information portal system have been proposed.

  • The culture industry has been considered very important as firms utilize human creativity as the main source for providing high-value-added services. In this industry, the inspirations and ideas of individual creators have been stressed rather than the roles of entrepreneurs so far. However, in recent years, due to the influence of "Hallyu" or the Korean Wave, entrepreneurial firms have actively participated in producing a variety of products embracing cultural value. In this vein, the entrepreneurship-related elements such as the degree of leaders' innovativeness, risk-taking environment, first mover advantage, employee compensation, and tolerance to failure were selected to investigate their effects on market leadership. As a result, it was observed that risk-taking environment, first mover advantage, employee compensation, and tolerance to failure had a positive effect whereas leaders' innovativeness was not statistically meaningful. These findings show that the creation of an atmosphere where employees' creativity can be fully appreciated is more important than the leader' insight-driven innovativeness. The results of this study indicate that when companies formulate strategies and the government initiate policies in the culture industry, entrepreneurship should be incorporated as a crucial element.

  • In this work we start from the thesis that Schiller's Aesthetic Letters contains two different doctrines of aesthetic education. When Schiller first raised the need of aesthetic education in his 1793 letters to Friedrich Christian von Augustenburg, he wanted to show that the taste for beauty contributes to morality and emphasized that man could reach pure reason only by way of beauty. When he revised the original letters and published them in 1795, he added some important parts concerning beauty as the condition and idea of humanity and the following arguments about 'aesthetic condition.' These added parts emphasize the harmony of reason and sensibility in beauty and the restoration of totality in 'aesthetic condition.' We examine the meaning and implications of 'aesthetic condition' in comparison with Schiller's 1793 doctrine of 'three-phase development of humanity,' and explain the background of this thought and also how it developed before and after Aesthetic Letters.

  • Electronic payment is a very crucial function in electronic commerce. As electronic commercial transactions develop on a mobile basis, a variety of electronic payment services that can be conveniently used are appearing. In particular, mobile easy payment services improve the user's convenience of payment and give a positive effect on activating online transactions. In this study we investigate empirically the factors influencing the user resistance to mobile easy payment services. Especially, we compares the main acceptance factors of the mobile easy payment services with the main acceptance resistance factors of the services. By doing that, we derive the implications that could contribute to the vitalizations of the mobile easy payment service market. The research model includes "perceived risk" as a main acceptance resistance factor, and "easy of use" and "usefulness" as the main acceptance factors. The relationship among these three factors, "use conflict", and "user resistance" is expressed in the model. We analyze the model by Structural Equation Model. The results proves that all the research hypotheses are adopted except for the impact of "ease of use" on "use conflict", and that users of mobile easy payment services think of "usefulness" more important than "risk".

  • Christian communities have long sought to find what type of moral judgment is appropriate and what the Christian behavior is, by taking the church's ethical norms and behavior patterns as objects of reflection. In the same context, Christian education also tried to base the psychological rationalism of J. Piaget and L. Kohlberg, but the reason-centered structural development theory was not the answer. In fact, the structural development theory, which emphasized autonomy while excluding emotions from the moral judgment process, over-emphasizing cognition or reason, eventually led to moral relativism, unlike what was intended. In addition, it was criticized for not being able to adequately elucidate the gap between human moral reasoning and behavior, and for attempting to interpret morality excessively within the context of social culture. Recently, these limitations of structural developmental theory have been reinterpreted by neuroethics, especially moral psychology theories, which claim that moral judgment ability is physically wired in the brain and relies heavily on networks between cortical and limbic system. The purpose of this paper is to review some of the newly emerged research themes of neuroethics, and then to discuss two main theories that explain morality in the perspective of neuroethics and the implications that Christian education should pay attention to.

  • This study aimed to investigate the effects of the virtual reality simulation for malocclusion examination for dental education. A 4-step modeling procedure was applied to develop a tooth model with a realistic level in order to be held and observed in detail. Eighty-six participants used HMDs to examine the developed virtual dental simulation to identify their perception according to expertise levels. The independent variable, expertise group, included three levels: 29 juniors, 29 seniors, and 28 dentists, respectively. The dependent variables, that were task-load and usability, were measured through two cases. Results showed that the junior group perceived a higher level of mental demands and embarrassment than the dentist group. It indicated that the perceived task load varies according to the expertise levels in the simulation task. However, the senior group perceived a higher level of ease of use than the dentist group. This study presented the implications for the development of virtual reality simulation in detail.

  • The e-commerce market is growing faster as demand for non-face-to-face shopping increases due to COVID-19. These changes lead to the expansion of various opportunities for consumers, but companies are required to understand consumer characteristics and reflect them in their sales strategies so that they can be competitive in the market. This study examined how the perceived ease and utility of consumers affect the intention to use the platform according to the technology acceptance model (TAM). As a result, it was confirmed that the price competitiveness, awareness, and ease of use of the platform had a significant effect on the utility. In addition, it was confirmed that there was no moderating effect of user characteristics on the effect of ease of use on the platform intention. These results present important implications for a company's sales strategy, and in future studies, it is necessary to expand the study in consideration of more diverse variables.
