  • In paper, propose new partial resonance ZCS PWM controlled High frequency insulating Full-bridge DC/DC converter not using exciting current of high frequency transformer. It is compared with the existing principles in characteristics. It also realizes a widely stabilized ZVS operating using new ON-OFF control method at synchronized power rectification MOSFET of high frequency insulating transformer secondary. Besides, it is brought over 97[%] measurement efficiency by proposed DC-DC converts. It is proved effectiveness of new methods using DC UPS PWM rectifier as switching power supply.

  • Indirect Touch switch which detects the change of capacitance around the electrode of QT113H chip from QPROX is designed and assembled. Sensitivity analysis of dielectric materials which prevents electrodes from direct touch is performed and the results are displayed in tables and graphs. Glass, acryl, and MDF is used to insulate the electrode and to measure the operating sensitivity of indirect touch switch. While the difference of permittivity of the dielectric materials are large, it is confirmed that the operating sensitivity of each dielectric materials are not so large as the differences of those of dielectric materials.

  • This paper proposes integrated safety diagnosis system of motor used in a ship. It carried out the safety diagnosis for insulation-resistor and current. The motor exposed to sea breeze and oil all the time is able to have problems as a over-current, reduction of the insulation-resistor and so on. These problems impact on the safety navigation, and occur a heavy casualties and loss of property. The proposed system is able to sense error of the motor before a accident occur, by verifying and controlling value of the insulation-resistor and current in working area or control room. The validity of the proposed system is verified through experiment results on the 3-Phase induction motor.

  • The cable cooling through installing the cooling pipe along the transmission cable becomes universal in foreign leading countries, especially in Japan, and, there are so many study results inside and outside of the country. However, the remarkable study result for cooling method of cable splice part is not achieved in spite of its importance. This paper is, therefore, carrys out detailed heat transfer analysis of existing 154kV underground cable-splice, depending on the insulation thickness variation when it is installed in manhole of tunnel whose temperature is maintained as $10^{\circ}C$ using refrigerator. This paper study also the cooling method of underground cable splice based on this result.

  • This is the first report of a series of field test result of large high voltage generator & motors. Major specimens were 6.6/13.2kV class hydroric power & pump motor that was installed and operated for public water service by KOWACO(KOrea WAter resources COperation). The capacity of specimen gene rater & motors were in range of several hundred kVA$\sim$50MVA. Until now, we get the 100 field test result by testing technique discribed in IEEE standards and Discharge map technique from Japanse manufactures. The test result was varied very wide range, and there was a tendency according to insulation material and manufacture.

  • The research for retecting of insulating deterioration in transforrrer has been studied from long ago and the analysis rrethod of combustible gas which is included in insulating oil has been used Recently the spreading effect of the accident is larger than before because of high voltage and large capacity, so on-line detecting system is needed and the study for the estimation of partial discharge signals location has begun. This thesis is the study for the sermating noise signal that is the greatest problem in ultrasonic signal measurement which is one of the method of estimation of partial discharge signals location. Because we can measure the number and location of signal, it is rossible to distinguish between the signal of partial discharge and the external noise. Therefore, we can devolop the credibility of detecting of insulating deterioration in transformer.former.

  • Broadband noise with frequency components in the range from several kHz up the tens of MHz is a major obstacle factor in normal operation of the AC line to supply the power to electrical and electronic control equipments. Because this kind of noise could damage the device or could be a source of malfunction, many devices such as filter and surge suppressor are used to cut off the noise. But those devices could not disconnected from the power line, so they result in poor common-mode of NCT as well as insulation characteristics as a isolation transformer in addition faraday shielding and proposed analysis model of NCT having tow functions of surge and noise reduction. The simulated and experimental results for the surge suppression characteristics are compared and evaluated for designed protype 1[kVA] NCT.

  • In this paper partial discharge were simulated by conducted particle, a fine protrusion, surface discharge, which could be easy accumulated charge and concentrated electric field in the model GIS. In this times this paper measured and analyzed the radiated electromagnetic waves by using spectrum analyzer and antenna ($30{\sim}2,000[MHz]$ for measurement of EMI EMC in accordance with occurrence and propagation of partial discharge. In the basis of this results, a novel UHF(Ultra High Frequency) spherical sensor is presented. The measured impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is from 0.3[GHz] to 1.7[GHz]. Form results of this study, this antenna will be playing an important role for the sensor for insulation diagnosis system by UHF method of real site GIS and power equipment using $SF_6$ gas.

  • This research is for temperature control of insulating oil inside the transformer. After I designed and manufactured various systems using Peltier element, which was thermal element, and Heat pipe, which was a cooling system, without electric power. The optimum system could be made by applying them to the temperature control for the insulating oil. I could verify that the combination type of Heat pipe 100 W+ Peltier 100W has a more outstanding capacity than pure Heat pipe 300 W within 60 degrees Celsius through experiments. Through this, I verify that the method of a proper design is prominent, and make an attempt at contribution to power saving effect and more effective control of Distributing board by using this combination type.

  • The ratios of compliant branch circuit of leakage current and insulation resistance were 68.4% and 90.8%, respectively at the lamp load, 64.6% and 96.5% at the heat load, 86.7% and 88.9% at the power load. Limit of residual current of the zero phase secondary current value at the zero phase primary current was 100 A when rated primary current 400 A more than. The reason why the ratio of branch circuit of the leakage current was less than the ratio of compliant branch circuit of the insulation resistance might be that the leakage current includes the capacitive leakage current and the zero phase current.
