Weather factor to affect driver's driving environment are due to changes in weather conditions is caused rainfall, snowfall, fog etc and the reducing of road capacity and because deteriorating weather could be affect the headway and vehicle speed and the decrease in lane caused by an accident occurs that was analyzed that bad weather occur congestion greater than on the clear day. Bad weather to reduce of the driver's visibility was analysed the sensitive to changes in travel speed and traffic accident to appears high characteristics according to weather conditions on the expressway(higher speed) than general road. As a result, visibility have been determined to be important factor in changes of the highway traffic flow characteristics. Therefore, in this study, we selected traffic volume and travle speed that have a major impact on high-speed expressway basic segments as importance effect factor and we selected to subject of analysis among the Metropolitan Expressway that it could be obtained certain level of traffic volume data and we studied the changing of expressway traffic flow due to change visibility after the collecting of meteorological and traffic data. In order to perform this study, data collection and analysis methods were established through the existing literature and we had selected level of visibility of the expressway and we had performed the statistical verification. Finally, we had calculated the rate of change of expressway traffic flow characteristics due to visibility and we had come up with a way to apply at capacity and service level analysis.
Recently, Daejeon Metropolitan City is planning a futuristic city with Daedeok Special District at the center of its transformation into a city of nature, science and culture along with the fourth industrial revolution. Therefore, this research will divide the 1.5 km distance from the in Doryong-dong, Daejeon, science park intersection to the (Former)Daedeok Science and Culture Center, and propose a space design concept that incorporates IT technologies that fit the characteristics. The center will analyze the space status and derive an experience-oriented space design concept for user-centered planning so that it can serve as a guideline that will provide the fundamental direction for the promotion of the Daedeok Science Culture. Through the field survey, we will look for ways to integrate IT technology with infrastructure that needs improvement and change the distance of Daedeok Science culture as a smart street. The results of the field survey were : (1) made by connecting the persistence of comfort and safety issues, (2) uniformity and efficiency issues, and (3) the experience of identity problems and the orientation of the smart city. To create user-centered distances, we attempted to avoid uniform zoning based solely on infrastructure and zoning focusing on user behavior.

VaRI(Vacuum assisted Resin Infusion) process, which is cost effective and suitable for manufacturing large-sized composites, is an OoA(Out-of Autoclave) process. For rapid resin infusion in the VaRI process, a DM(distribution media) is placed on top of the fabric. The resin is rapidly supplied in plane direction of the fiber along the DM, and then the supplied resin is impregnated in the out-of-plane direction of fiber. It is difficult to predict the flow of resin because the flow of in-plane direction and the out-of-plane direction occur together, and a 3D numerical analysis program is used to simulate the resin infusion process. However, in order to analyze in 3D, many elements are required in the out-of-plane direction of fabric. And the product size is larger, the longer the analysis time needs. Therefore, in this study, a method was suggested to reduce the time required for flow analysis by simplifying the 3D flow analysis to 2D flow analysis. The usefulness was verified by comparing the 3D flow analysis with the simplified 2D flow analysis at the same conditions. The filling time error was about 7% and the reduction of flow analysis time was about 95%. In addition, by utilizing the constant difference in the flow front between the top, middle, and bottom of the fabric of the 3D analysis, the flow front of the top, middle, and bottom of the fabric can be also predicted in the 2D flow analysis.
This paper investigates the accuracy of vehicle pre-braking speed estimates based upon tire/roadway coefficient of friction (drag factor) measurements and skid mark measurements Data for pre-braking and pre-skidding speeds were collected to determine if there were any correlations between pre-braking speeds and pre-skidding speeds. Braking tests were performed on two vehicles using various measurement devices including a fifth wheel, a speed gun, and a vericom 2000. The vehicle speeds, braking distances, skid mark distances, and deceleration histories were recorded. From these data. coefficients of friction and vehicle pre-skidding speeds for the tested road surface were calculated. The pre-skidding speeds were then compared to the actual pre-braking speeds of the vehicles in order to establish relationships between pre-skidding and pre-braking speed. A correlation between the Pre-skidding speed and the actual pre-braking speed was established for the study data.
To investigate edge vegetation structure and edge species in Kaya Mountain National Park, field survey was executed from July to August, 1989 and the result are as follows. Cantilevered and advancing types of edge vegetation were observed on site, The relative importance values of major species were changed along distance from edge to forest interior and were seemed to be affected by aspect, soil moisture and present tree layer vegetation. Especially, light-oriented species were observed as a codominant species under pine tree canopy due to selective allelopathy effect and thin canopy. Ecological indices according to the distance from edge to forest interior did not show regular pattern, but edge depth was estimated as 15-20m, approximately, Dominant species of edge seemed to be affected by soil moisture rather than altitude and aspect, but floristic similarities seemed to be affected by altitude. Frequency classes of edge species were different by aspect, altitude and physiogra-phical location. Lespedeza maximowiczii, Weigela subsessilis and Fraxinus rhynchophylla showed high frequency class in all environment conditions.

This study is a study that designed in-building antennas with improved orientation to improve 5G quality in buildings as 5G is stabilized and more and more traffic is expected to occur in buildings. Instead of applying the forward arrangement of antenna elements, which is the Yagi antenna propagation orientation principle, the antenna design method of vertical arrangement applied to the base station antenna was proposed, and it was confirmed through experiments that antenna orientation increased. According to the experimental results, the directivity did not increase significantly within 10m of the separation distance from the antenna, but the directivity increased by about 3dB at the distance separated by more than 10m. Considering that the wireless environment in the building has various variables such as structure of internal structure, materials such as concrete and glass, closed space, and walls, it is expected that antenna with improved orientation can expand the scope of 5G quality improvement and maintain stable communication service in the building.

Since the application of roundabouts by 2010 have been started, more than 350 roundabouts were installed in Korea. Recently the types of constructed roundabouts become various, and the intersection conditions for installing roundabouts were also various. However, there were some difficulties to install roundabouts around school zone due to safety problems. In this study, appropriate distance from adjacent signal crosswalks to roundabouts were estimated for securing pedestrian safety and operation efficiency around school zone. With the analyses, the minimum distance standard was suggested to obtain operational effectiveness of roundabout according to traffic volume, traffic flow, pedestrian green time and secures pedestrian safety and convenience. In this paper, average delay of roundabout as various length of distances between an adjacent crosswalk and a roundabout as different pedestrian signal times, traffic volumes, traffic flow rates were analyzed. Through this study, it was found that about four times of delay in a roundabout was generated if there was adjacent signal crosswalk. However if there is enough distance between an adjacent crosswalk and a roundabout, the value of increasing delay on roundabouts with adjacent a signalized crosswalk can be considerably reduced. Critical value of the distance between a roundabout and a signal crosswalk in case of roundabouts within 200-500 vehicle/hour/lane entry traffic flow, 20-40% of left turn traffic, and over 15 seconds pedestrian green time was about 50 meters. In conclusion, if there is minimum 40 meter distance from roundabouts, adjacent signal crosswalks can be installed and operated for students' safety around school zone.
We have studied the generation of an array of dark spatial solitons in a self-deforcusing medium. Unlike a single fundamental dark spatial soliton, we show numerically that the generation of an array of dark spatial solitons from a spatially sinusoidal input beam needs an adiabatic amplification of nonlinear refractive index with the beam propagation distance. In experiment, we establish a Mach-Zehnder interferometer for making the sinusoidal input beam and use a cylindrical lens for the adiabatic amplification. We observe that the dark soliton's dip-width becomes narrower and the background intensity distribution becomes flatter with increasing the nonlinearity.
In order to prevent drink-driving by detecting concentration of alcohol from driver's exhale breath, twenty chemical sensors fabricated. The one of purposes for sensor array which consists of those sensors is to discriminate between target gas(alcohol) and interference gases($CH_3CH_2OH$, CO, NOx, Toluene, and Xylene). Wilks's lambda was presented to achieve above purpose and optimal sensors were selected using the method. In this paper, step-wise sensor elimination based on Euclidean distance was investigated for selecting optimal sensors and compared with a result of Wilks's lambda method. The selectivity and sensitivity of sensor array were used for comparing performance of sensor array as a result of two methods. The data acquired from selected sensor were analyzed by pattern analysis methods, principal component analysis and Sammon's mapping to analyze cluster tendency in the low space (2D). The sensor array by stepwise sensor elimination method had a better sensitivity and selectivity compared to a result of Wilks's lambda method.
