The Effect of Coil Shape on the Electromagnetic Force in the Cylindrical Electromagnetic Pump Using Linear Traveling Traveling Magnetic Field (선형 이동 자기장을 사용한 원통형 전자기 펌프의 전자기력에 미치는 코일 모양의 영향)

  • A numerical simulation program based on the finite elerrent method is developed for calculating electromagnetic field of the cylindrical electromagnetic pump. The calculated results by the developed program show that Lorentz forces show maximum peak at an optimum length ($L_c$) of the induction coil. The value of $L_c$ depends on the radius of the molten metal when the skin depth is large. On the other hand, the value of $L_c$ depends on the skin depth when it is small.

  • ITER AC/DC Converter Local Controller는 ITER 토카막 초전도 코일 전류를 제어하는 것으로 코일 전류 충전, 유지, 방전 및 보호 동작이 요구되며 토카막 제어실에서 Real time 통신으로 명령되는 실시간 전압 명령을 추종해야 한다. 대용량 Utility 및 대전류 초전도 코일 실부하에서 제어기 개발 시험은 불가능하므로 RTDS를 이용하여 제어기의 성능을 검증할 수 있다. 본 논문은 RTDS를 이용하여 전원 장치 제어기의 시험 된 내용을 논의 하고자 한다.

  • We derive an equation that predicts the induced voltage across the receiving terminals of the three-coil head of a metal detector using a magnetic vector potential approach. We also derive an equation that relates the change of the impedance of the transmitting coil to the properties of the metal. We utilize the results to obtain the optimum spacing between the driving and the receiving coils at which the maximum induced voltage is attained. Further, we determine the position of the metallic object where the voltage reaches its peak. We verify our work by comparing the results with those of a previous work.

  • Recently, wireless power transmission system is gradually extended to technology in various fields such as lighting field, electric vehicles and smartphones wireless charging system. The largest of the two elements for high transmission efficiency of the wireless power transmission system are resonant coils and power amplifiers. In this paper, in order to build a high efficient wireless power transmission system, we introduce the resonance coil manufacturing method and high efficiency power amplifier design method that operates at 6.78MHz.

  • In this paper, we analyzed characteristic of window type current transformer and we performed the optimal design consider to the loss; in order to design the current transformer figured signal of overcurrent warning circuit. The core size of window type current transformer was determined by the secondary coil turns. We analyzed current waveform, which is appeared by the number of coil turns on the core, we made sure the relation of secondary coil turns and load resistance in order to improve the non-sinusoidal wave by the flux saturation of the current transformer core. Additionally, we did improvement of the accuracy and optimal design through the transformation of the inner diameter and the stack length when the outer diameter of core is sustaining.

  • We propose a novel displacement measurement method in the LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) structure. This proposed algorithm is independent of coil pattern, which may be implemented to PCB, or transformer component, because it is based on the signal-mapping method. we have manufactured several boards which have different coil patterns and our algorithm is ported into TMS320F2812 of TI DSP chipset. The output signal has high accuracy and high stability although PCB coil pattern are coarse.

  • Stowage planning is an essential process for safe loading by establishing, agreeing on, and systematically implementing a reasonable loading and securing method based on information on cargo, loading/unloading and the ship. In addition, depending on the plan, there may be a difference of about 14% or more in the loading amount per ship, which causes a tolerance rate and leads to an increase in sea freight charges. In this study, work environment and process standards for steel coil shipment, and classification regulations and guidelines related to steel coil shipment were analyzed. In addition, we developed a steel coil loading and placement automation system that derives an optimal loading plan through performance data-based shipping balancing and stability analysis.

Mineral Chemistry of Magnetite from the Hongcheon Carbonatite-Phoscorite Complex, Korea (홍천 카보나타이트-포스코라이트 복합체에서 산출되는 자철석의 광물화학)

  • Magnetite, a major constituent mineral of the Hongcheon carbonatite-phoscorite complex, was produced over three stages in each rock type and decreased in quantity toward the late stage. Electron microprobe analyses for magnetite revealed that Ti and V were detected in traces, but showed increasing tendency from early to late stage. On the contrary, Mg and Mn decreased distinctly, and it is the general differentiation trend of carbonatitic magma. Al also showed decreasing tendency in carbonatite and phoscorite, and Cr was mostly below detection limit except late phoscorite. In early stage, $Fe^{2+}$ was largely replaced by $Mg{2+}$ and $Mn^{2+}$, and $Fe^{3+}$ by $Al^{3+}$ in magnetite, but it has nearly pure composition in late stage. Tendency of increase in V and decrease in Mn toward late stage represents that magma differentiation progressed under the condition of decreasing oxygen fugacity. Low concentrations of Mg, Al, Cr and Ti, as well as the absence of olivine and phlogopite, suggest that the Hongcheon carbonatite-phoscorite complex was generated from depleted magma. Especially, lower concentrations of Mg in magnetite compared to other typical carbonatite-phoscorite complex, and abundant occurrence of Fe-carbonate minerals and quartz in late stage, suggest that magma differentiation of the Hongcheon carbonatite-phoscorite proceeded to the latest stage.

  • 본 논문에서는 권선 방법에 따라 코일 U, V, W를 같은 층에 원주방향으로 배치한 집중권 권선 모델, 코일 U, V, W를 각각 한 층씩 원주 방향으로 배치한 분포권 권선 #1 모델, 코일에 경사각을 적용하여 코일 U, V, W를 한 층에 배치하는 분포권 #2 모델로 총 3가지 사양의 3상 코어리스 축방향 자속 발전기를 설계하였다. 3차원 유한요소 해석을 활용하여, 무부하 상태에서의 역기전력, 쇄교 자속 밀도와 외부 정류 회로를 구성한 부하 상태에서의 정류 전압, 정류 전류와 같은 전자기 특성에 대한 해석 및 특성 비교를 수행하였다.
