It was difficult for user to identify e-books due to some problems such as duplicable bibliographic records and inconsistent descriptive cataloging when cataloging the bibliographic records of the e-book packages in OPAC. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find the applicable methods of the provider neutral e-book(e-monograph) MARC record guideline for the standardization of the bibliographic records of the provider supplied e-book package. Through the literature reviews and homepage analysis of 15 university libraries in domestic, the theoretical background on cataloging e-book, the descriptive cataloging of e-book, the provider-neutral e-monograph MARC record guideline as new standard for e-book, and the libraries practices of cataloging bibliographic records of the e-book package were inquired. Based on these analysis, it was to suggest applicable methods of provider neutral e-book(e-monograph) MARC record guideline for the standardization of the bibliographic records of domestic e-book packages in aspect of cataloging rule, KORMARC, and neutral bibliographic records. This study will contribute to build FRBRization of the e-books in OPAC as finding the guideline for the standardization of the bibliographic records of the e-book packages for both providers and libraries.

Recently, with the rapid development of information technology the field of e-book market is growing rapidly. The choice of an e-book device to improve user's comprehension is one of very important elements. The effectiveness evaluation between e-books and paper books has been studied previously, but there have not been progressed actively researches on the size of e-book devices based on user's comprehension. Considering these aspects, we in this paper selected e-book devices such as currently available PDA, netbook, and notebook, and then carried out the experiment about which device has the highest user's comprehension depending on the size of e-book devices. Understanding and memory about the content on the display were set as main factors in order to evaluate user's comprehension. We prepared in advance multiple examples of e-books and English words with similar difficulty, and evaluated user's comprehension through answering questions for each example after doing the experiment. 90 undergraduate students who use most widely e-books participated in the experiment, and the result was analyzed using SPSS statistical package. The experiment result showed that user's comprehension was higher in e-book device with middle size rather than the one with big size in display size.

컴퓨터 및 네트워크 기술의 발전은 대학 교육에도 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 웹/멀티미디어를 통한 통계교육용 통합 소프트웨어 iSTAT을 소개한다. 이 소프트웨어는 통계 초보자들을 위한 교육의 일환으로 전통적인 강의 동영상과 전자책(e-book)을 포함하고 있고, 아울러 복잡한 통계이론의 이해를 돕기 위해 고안된 통계강의 보조시스템 CATS와 통계자료분석 실습용 통계패키지 S-Link, 그리고 배운 이론에 대한 평가 모듈이 있다. 이밖에도 관련 이론에 대한 유용한 웹사이트에 링크를 할 수 있다. 이 종합 시스템을 초보자에게 제공함으로서 통계라는 학문을 보다 쉽고 실제 응용이 가능한 학문으로 보급되기를 기대한다.

Any switching function can be constructed with universal building block of MAND gate. Threelevel AND-NOT logic networks with only true inputs are called TANT networks. Systematic approach to TANT minimization starts from the UF type minterm with the smallest subscript and ends when UF type minterms are all covered. Optinal PEI is composed of CPPI or EPPi without C-C table. The algorithm in this work is usful in solving TANT optimization porblem of four or five variables by hand solution. When variable are six or more, it is required to be solved by computer, A CAD software package of this algorithm with FORTRAN IV language is made to solve such problems.
