Analysis of Penetration Phenomenon of High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse into Buried Facilities with Various Moisture Content and Depth (수분 함유량 및 지하 구조물 깊이에 따른 고고도 전자기파(HEMP) 투과 현상 분석)

  • In this paper, a formulation for obliquely incident electromagnetic wave has been presented for an analysis of highpower electromagnetic pulse penetration into multilayered dispersive media. Based on generalized models of measured dielectric constants and propagation channels reflecting the Earth's general features, the propagation phenomenon of the obliquely incident early-time(E1) high altitude electromagnetic pulse(HEMP) is analyzed. In addition, the polarization and critical angle are also considered. It is found that the total reflection occurs at an incident angle of about 38 degrees at the soil-rock interface, and that the parallel-polarized E1 HEMP penetrates better than the perpendicular-polarized one. The peak level of the penetrating electric field is found to be 5.6 kV/m at normal incidence, regardless of the type of polarization, and E1 HEMP is greatly reduced near the critical angle. Moreover, the penetrating E1 HEMP is analyzed as a variation of moisture content and depth of materials, resulting E1 HEMP could be useful in determining the levels of shielding required for buried facilities.

  • 웹이 등장하면서 지금까지 인터넷 상에서 텍스트와 이미지를 이용하여 정보를 표현하고 전달하는 방법이 가장 많이 사용되어왔다. 그러나 웹 관련 기술의 비약적인 발달과 네트워크 속도의 증가 및 인터넷의 급속한 보급으로 단순한 텍스트와 이미지 중심의 HTML 문서를 이용한 정보의 전달이 아닌 멀티미디어 데이터를 이용한 정보의 표현과 전달이 점차 증대되고 있다. 이에 따라 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송하기 위한 스트리밍 프로토콜도 등장하였다. 최근에는 컴퓨터의 성능 증가 및 네트워크 속도의 증가(초고속 통신 서비스의 보급)에 의해 멀티미디어 데이터의 전송이 가능하게 됨으로써 기존의 공중파나 CATV 방송국의 형태 지니고 인터넷 상에서 실시간 생방송 서비스와 VOD(Video On Demand) 서비스를 제공하는 인터넷 방송국이 급속하게 생겨나고 있다. (11) 인터넷 방송은 동영상과 오디오의 실시간 전달을 가능하게 하는 멀티미디어 스트리밍 기술과 멀티미디어를 실시 간으로 전송할 수 있는 실시간 전송 프로토콜을 기반으로 발전하고 있다. 인터넷 상에서 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스를 하는 대부분의 인터넷 방송은 스트리밍 서버로서 RealNetworks사의 RealSystem과 Microsoft사의 WMT(Windows Media Technologies)를 사용하고 있다. 본 논문은 Real Server와 WMT의 비교 분석을 통해 실시간 전송 프로토콜을 지원하고, 멀티미디어 스트리밍 기술을 지원하는 자바를 기반으로 한 분산 서버 구조의 스트리밍 서버, 서버간의 부하를 제어하는 미들웨어, 멀티미디어 스트림을 재생할 수 있는 클라이언트를 설계하고 구현한다.있다.구현한다. 이렇게 구현된 시스템은 전자 상거래, 가상 쇼핑몰, 가상 전시화, 또는 3차원 게임이나 가상교육 시스템과 같은 웹기반 응용프로그램에 사용될 수 있다.물을 보존·관리하는 것이 필요하다. 이는 도서관의 기능만으로는 감당하기 어렵기 때문에 대학정보화의 센터로서의 도서관과 공공기록물 전문 담당자로서의 대학아카이브즈가 함께 하여 대학의 공식적인 직무 관련 업무를 원활하게 지원하고, 그럼으로써 양 기관의 위상을 높이는 상승효과를 낼 수 있다.하여는, 인쇄된 일차적 정보자료의 검색방법등을 개선하고, 나아가서는 법령과 판례정보를 위한 효율적인 시스템을 구축하며, 뿐만 아니라 이용자의 요구에 충분히 대처할 수 잇는 도서관으로 변화되는 것이다. 이와 함께 가장 중요한 것은 법과대학과 사법연수원에서 법학 연구방법에 관한 강좌를 개설하여 각종 법률정보원의 활용 내지 도서관 이용방법에 관하여 교육하는 것이다.글을 연구하고, 그 결과에 의존하여서 우리의 실제의 생활에 사용하는 $\boxDr$한국어사전$\boxUl$등을 만드는 과정에서, 어떤 의미에서 실험되었다고 말할 수가 있는 언어과학의 연구의 결과에 의존하여서 수행되는 철학적인 작업이다. 여기에서는 하나의 철학적인 연구의 시작으로 받아들여지는 이 의미분석의 문제를 반성하여 본다. 것이 필요하다고 사료된다.크기에 의존하며, 또한 이러한 영향은 $(Ti_{1-x}AI_{x})N$ 피막에 존재하는 AI의 함량이 높고, 초기에 증착된 막의 업자 크기가 작을 수록 클 것으로 여겨진다. 그리고 환경의 의미의 차이에 따라 경관의 미학적 평가가 달라진 것으로

  • Range resolution is important performance parameter to distinguish a target accurately. The destination of modern radar systems, to overcome the limitations of existing analog radar systems, is to improve the range resolution of the distance with low transmission power. For that reason, the research on pulse compression techniques is briskly studying. In the Receiver, modulation system of transmitted signal which has used in pulse compression technique is divided PM and FM to distinguish a target. In this paper, We analysed and designed the pulse compression signal processing module using the Baker Code which is the one of PM method's.

  • The conventional track to train communication is commonly using radio based equipment such as transponder or balise to transmit the data. However, there are some drawbacks of the conventional equipment, for example multipath fading, source of bandwidth limitation, and interference from other users. Moreover, the radio based equipment is very expensive when installed in large numbers. To address these problems, we propose infrared system for trackside to train communication system. Infrared system offers a transmission of data to train and it can be processed to obtain at least a train location. Infrared communication protocol provides practical wireless data communication for direct dedication configuration. Furthermore, on the pole configuration the infrared system provides an abundant bandwidth, an economically sensible, minimalized installation of equipment on the trackside and reliability for heavy rain environment. This paper concentrates on the communication function and measurement performance evaluation. The proposed trackside to train communication system covers about 6 meters between infrared receiver and infrared transmitter, whereas the half angle of the transmitter is set to $19.65^{\circ}$ and the receiver angle is $15^{\circ}$.

Efficient Data Acquisition Technique for Clinical Application of Multileaf Collimator (다엽콜리메이터의 임상적용을 위한 효율적인 정보 취득 기술)

  • The MLC(multi leaf collimator) in charge of important role in radiation therapy field recently have been exchanging from shielding block into it rapidly, owing to being convenient. However, MLC can be occurred the leakage dose of inter_leaves and the error of algorithm in imput and output from digital signal. We compared the difference of imput method to MLC made by Varian Cop. with the error and effective field induced by MLC shaper and film scanner based on XimaVision value as using MLC layer of various shapes. According to comparing standard value with them to basic MLC layer (test1-5), MLC shaper was $0{\sim}0.29cm$, $0.23{\sim}3.59cm^2$ and film scanner was $0{\sim}0.78cm$, $0.24{\sim}3.89cm^2$. At the MLC layer to be applied in clinic, MLC shaper was $0{\sim}0.54cm$, $0.04{\sim}1.68cm^2$ and film scanner was $0{\sim}0.78cm$, $0.24{\sim}3.89cm^2$. The more distance and field from axis of central line increase, the more bigger the error value increases. There is a few mm error from standard point at the process which imput various information to apply MLC in clinic. and effective field did not have variation of monitor unit and dose owing to being a few cm2 error against real field. But there are some problem to shield critical organs because some part of target volume induced by the movement of organs can be not included, therefore we have to pay attention on the process to imput MLC layer

  • 도시의 많은 시설물을 좀더 지능화된 체계로 관리하기 위한 수단으로 RFID/USN을 이용한 솔루션이 다양하게 제안되고 있다. 최근에 상하수도, 전력, 가스, 통신 관로 등 지하시설물 관리분야도 기존의 도면 관리체계에서 센서를 이용한 실시간 운영관리시스템 형태로의 진화를 시도하고 있다. USN은 일반적으로 무선전송을 기반으로 발전시킨 기술로서 이를 지하 매설물 센서네트워크에 적용할 경우 여러 가지 제약사항이 따르게 된다. 전자기파의 물리적 특성상 지하에서는 통신이 어렵기 때문에 이를 보완할 수 있는 적용기술 및 시설물 분포에 맞는 네트워크 토폴로지 또 싱크 노드의 물리적 설치공간 확보 및 구동전력 공급 등 현장에서 부딪히는 여러 가지 네트워크 구축에 관련된 현안사항에 대하여 그 해결방법에 대하여 기술하였다.

Performance Analysis of Low Earth Orbit Satellite Communication Systems Under Multi-path Fading Environments (다중경로 페이딩 환경하에서의 저궤도 위성통신시스템 성능 분석)

  • Unlike geostationary satellite communication systems, low-earth orbit(LEO) satellite communication systems move at relatively high speeds, and the angle with the ground device is not fixed and varies over a wide range. The propagation channel condition between satellites and ground nodes cannot be assumed line of sight(LOS) anymore. This paper analyzes the low-orbit multi-path fading satellite channel model that can occur in LEO satellite communication systems and Doppler frequency transition caused by high-speed maneuvering of LEO satellites and presents effective equalization techniques for OFDM and SC-FDE transmission methods suitable for multi-path frequency selective fading satellite channel models. In addition, this paper compares and analyzes the performance of OFDM and SC-FDE transmission methods in multipath fading LEO satellite channel environment using the proposed equalization techniques through simulations. Simulation results showed that SC-FDE outpeformed OFDM.

  • With the help of technical development in the electronic industries, the electronic devices employing the cutting-edged technology are spread in all the area requiring electromagnetic communications. Especially, because of the presence of electronic devices in a variety of research fields like automotive vehicle, train, and aircraft, the research area such as the malfunction and critical damage of the internal system and microwave devices due to the unexpected radiated high-powered EM effects are very important even for the possible occurrence of human damage. In this paper, the effects of electromagnetic fields into the cable connecting the electronic devices and many sensors inside the target structure is treated because of potential malfunction or hardware disorders. In addition, correlation function and transmission line theory have been employed for the analysis of the induced current on the cable inside an electrically large resonant structure.

  • Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) satellite system for broad-area imaging has RF systems including SAR radiating a high power, data link system transmitting the acquired image data from the SAR, TC&R(Telemetry, Command, and Ranging) to communicate with a ground segment to control a satellite. Each system transmits RF signal having various frequencies and radiates a high power, RS(Radiated Susceptibility) specification should be verified at an electronic unit mounted in satellite. RF interference can be happened because of non-linearity of a RF system. Therefore, we manufactured a structure model installed antennas which have a similar pattern with a real antenna, the effect by RF interference is analyzed and verified.

  • Land shrimp farms can control the growth environment more stably than coastal ones, making them advantageous for high-quality, large-scale production. In order to maintain an optimal shrimp growth environment, various factors such as water circulation, maintaining appropriate water temperature, oxygen supply, and feed supply must be managed. In particular, failure to properly manage water quality can lead to the death of shrimp, making it difficult to have people stationed at the farm 24 hours a day to continuously manage them. In this paper, to solve this problem, we design an integrated monitoring system for land farms that can be operated with minimal manpower. The proposed design plan uses IoT technology to collect real-time images of land farms, pump status, water quality data, and energy usage and transmit them to the server. Through web interfaces and smartphone apps, administrators can check the status of the farm stored on the server anytime, anywhere in real time and take necessary measures. Therefore, it is possible to significantly reduce field work hours without the need for managers to reside in the farm.
